Just a quick mention but anyone can be triggered by content, not just narrow minded people. Writers are not responsible for triggering anyone and readers should be mindful of the content they consume. However, to just say narrow minded people are triggered is not a correct statement.

Beginning Thoughts
I will admit I was confused originally about the blurb/prologue, but kind of picked up what was kind of happening after thinking about it some more

Blurb
Honestly, it doesn't give me much on what the book is about. It's just a scene with vague things on what it might be about. It also doesn't fully align with what is happening in the story.

Story
The story itself is fine. I do not mind the characters and the dynamics, the drama kept me intrigued and it did evoke some heightened emotions from me which I believe was intended.

The story tends to jump very quickly from one thing to the next and there are scenes that can benefit with more in it.

The prologue was also the same as the blurb which made for a boring introduction to the story.

Writing
Writing was very telley with too many character perspectives. It sounds like you might be doing third person omniscient but better to just stick to one or two povs and break them up as we really shouldn't be knowing the intent of other random characters.

Characters
Fiza and Alan were okay characters and at times felt realistic, but other than them loving each other and having a passion for medicine, I know nothing much about them in the 10 parts I have read.

Now the elephant in the room. Alan is a dick character and is intended to be this way. That doesn't mean I didn't have any issues with him, but know that I hated him as a character.

I do think Fiza may make mistakes also, but right now she is being manipulated emotionally and gaslit

The other characters are fine with some purpose but not knowing anything about them makes it hard to understand them. I do like Alan's mum. She is my fav.

Setting
There is some description but I would love to see the world around them more.

Overall
This book tests your patience and emotions and it does that well. For me it's not something I like to read and as I skipped to the epilogue to see what happens, was even more annoyed with everything that has gone on already
