Your POV when you are about to go to Ems

While I was editing all I thought about was the thing with Adam. He just can't deal when I'm right and he is wrong.

" Hey y/n are you leaving?" Max asked.

" Yes. I'm going to Em's house." I answered.

" Oh nice. So is everything okay with you and Adam?" he asked.

" No. But don't worry. We will get over it." I said.

" Oh I'm sorry. And I'm sorry I keep interrupting." he said as I grabbed the rest of my things and started walking with Max.

" It's fine. You were just worried" I said.

" Yeah. I was. He is important to you and it is hard to lose someone you care about" he said.

" Yeah it is hard. But he isn't willing to make nice so I'm not either" I said.

" One of you have to be the bigger man and just make nice." he said opening the door for me.

" Thank you. And good thing I'm not a man" I said.

" Well if Adam is as stubborn as you then he never will either." he said.

" Then by the time never comes around I guess we won't be friends." I said.

" You are twins. You have to work it out." he said.

" And I hope we will. Hey I need to get to Em's house. We can talk later. K?" I said.

" Have fun at your sleep over." he said.

" Will" I said getting in my car.

He laughed and got in his. We always park next to each other so we can walk in together. If one is here first then we wait for the other.

Time skip to Em's house

I knocked on the door until she answered.

" Welcome to my home" she said.

" I know. I've been here before." I said laughing.

" No I don't believe you have" she said.

" Okay fine. May I see the place?" I said.

" You may" she said.

I walked in and was greeted by Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington. Her cat "Why hello Sir Nicholas" I said petting him. (I found this out thanks to kit-price go check her out.)

" Meow" he said.

I smiled.

" What yo want for dinner?" Em asked. ( I sometimes talk like that. I say yo instead of you)

" Don't care. What ever you are having. Er. What you were going to have. Before you knew I was coming." I said.

" Okay. So spaghetti." she said.

" Yeah. Guess" I said.

" So tell me about Adam" she said starting the food.

" Well." I started as I sat down at the table " me and him have been pretty close. But one thing I have never like about our relationship is that he always had to be right in an argument. And most the time he was right. And when he wasn't I never said anything about it. But I can now. And I did. He got mad and just denied that I was right. He he just can't. I don't now." I said.

" Well what makes you so sure he just has to be right." she said.

" I don't know. It is one of those times when you just know the person well enough and you have been around them enough to know something they hide fairly well." I said.

" Um yeah kind of. The way you worded it was odd. But I think I know what you mean." she said.

" Well if you spend enough time with someone they start to act a certain way. Sometimes they don't even know they are doing it. Is that better?" I asked.

" If I say yes will you stop explaining?" she asked.

" Sure" I said.

" Well why are you talking it so seriously?" she asked.

" Seriously. Why am I taking it so seriously? Well first he lied to me. We don't do that to each other. A day ago I would have said never have never will. Guess I can't say that now." I said.

" And second?" she asked.

" Well, and I have keep this close to my hart, when we were 18 I went to his graduation. At a public high school. And the people there are evil. A group of girls found me. Made fun of me. Then there boyfriends came. Even meaner. They called me such mean names. And what was worse was that they were younger then me. At some point Adam found me. And the devils around me. He got them to go away. He said that he was going to go out with his friends but was going to ditch them. To take me to the movies. I said that he shouldn't do that. That he should go out with his friends. To celebrate. After that he took my notebook so I couldn't argue with him. Oh thank you" I said as she placed some food in front of me. " Anyways he said something. Something that still makes me smile today. He said that he would not let any guy hurt me. Not even him. That is what makes me sad. Cause this is the first time he hurt me and didn't apologize." I said.

" Well I can see how that would hurt." she said.

" Yeah it does. Hey I need to borrow some clothes for tomorrow. May I?" I asked.

" You may" she said laughing.

" Yay I get to dress as cool as Em." I said clapping my hands.

" I know right?" she said.

I laughed and said " Thank you. This was fun."

" See your mistake there was saying was. We haven't even gotten to the fun part yet." she said.

" What is the fun part?" I asked.

" Talking about you and Max" she answered.

I almost choked. " What?" I said coughing.

" You park next to each other every day, you walk in and walk out tougher almost every day, and you spend a whole lot of your free time with him." she said smiling bigger as she keep talking.

" Oh shut up. Yes we do all of those things. But that doesn't mean we love each other" I said smiling too.

" I never said love. Like. Oh yeah" she said.

" Yes of course I like him." I said.

She looked surprised then she got it. " I mean like like." she said.

" Oh that. Yeah maybe maybe not" I said.

" Mybe. How can you not know?" she asked.

" I don't know. I've had 2 boyfriends. Both I thought I loved. Both cheated on me. And both I didn't love." I answered.

" Oh are you scared he will cheat on you?" she asked.

" No no. I don't think so. What I'm most scared of is that I will think that I love him. And I don't actually. I just think I do. And I'm scared that I will mess up this beautiful friendship I have with this even more beautiful man. Now this is me saying that I do like him. I do. I just will not admit it to him. And I'm only going to admit it to two people. Me and you." I said.

" No no. Oh y/n you have to tell him." she said.

" Sorry Em. No can do. He would have to do it first. Plus I have only known him for about a month." I said.

" The amount of time doesn't matter. You like him and that is all that matters." she said.

" Yeah well we can talk about me latter. I want to hear about you and Red." I said.

" I don't know what you are talking about" she said.

" Sure. I see the way you look at him" I said.

" Okay fine. You like one red head and I like the other." she said.

" That's what I thought" I said.
