Oh no, Jackson...

"what's happening? why is ajumma floating?" I was shocked, did I take that long to just simply life her up? I quickly changed to holding her with my hands and deceased the glowing red light

"uh- what are you talking about? I'm just lifting her up to go to the bed" I lied, I hated lying to my most trusted friend, but I would regret so much if he run away from me after I showed him what a creature I am.

"are you sure she wasn't floating? am I seeing things?" Jackson questioned me and himself, "uh-no? she wasn't, how could she be? you are too tired Jackson" aish this feeling is the worst.

"come on, stop questioning stuff that aren't real and help me close up the wound!" I raised my voice a little bit trying to get his attention back to the wounds, "y-yeah, Jackson let's just keep working on this" my sister helped.

"huh? maybe I'm too tired fighting away the other pack all day, aish!"

"ah! all done!" I said and started packing the bloody scene up, "mom? are you feeling fine?" "yeah, i'm fine, thank you" "that's ok, please go to sleep, we have a flight tomorrow, i'll try and heal it when Jackson leaves ok?" "Jackson thank you so much" I thanked him and he smiled back.

"it's ok Jess, i'm glad I can help" "yeah, we did learn well in biochems!" "you bet! uh- I have to go help my pack to deal with those fuckers, i'll check up on y'all tomorrow morning!" Jackson said and I nodded, "thanks again."

"call me if you need help with those packs ah?" I told him, "looks like practising won't be until we meet again~" Jackson said, I'm quite sad because of that, but what can I do? "aw, that sucks but I'll beat you down when we meet in Busan" I stated and he rolled his eyes before leaving with a 'take care'.

"mom! omg, you shouldn't move that much ah~" I was making us dinner while I saw my mom walking downstairs towards me. "it's ok ah~ don't worry, i'm much better" my mom said softly, I can sense the weakness in her body.

"oh I forgot! i'll try to heal it once we finish dinner ah?" I told her, my energy is not enough to heal such wounds, but no matter what, I should at least try. "no, honey your body can't take it, i'll just heal the normal way" "no, i'm totally fine, I have enough energy!" I lied, again. I have to help her, the normal way would take up to months!

"are you sure honey?" "i'm sure mom, Jisoo ah~" I assured her and saw Jisoo walking to the kitchen. "Jisoo can you get the noodles out of the cupboard?" I asked her and started boiling the water. "thank you honey, please don't hurt yourself alright?" I nodded and smiled as a reply and continued cooking.

"oh w-wow the noodle is uh- amazing, yea very good. hahaha" my sister said, I can sense her lie already, but I tried. "y-yeah, great food" oh gosh is it that disgusting?

I picked up a strand of noodle and put it in my mouth, aw that's really not good. shit.

"nope, nope, stop eating please, can we just order some lamb?" I said, I just couldn't take this anymore, I thought my mom would like to eat some light food just after injury but this would probably make her more sick.

"yeah" "yeah I agree, sorry honey" Jisoo and mom agreed to my suggestion and went to drink some water, I really don't blame them, "Jisoo get me a cup too, thank you"

"ok, mom are you ready? this will hurt" I asked my mom who's lying in front of me, I'm kind of nervous to be honest "yes honey, but are you sure you will be safe?" my mom asked, I gulped, I just hope her sickness will weaken her senses.

"yup, i'll be just fine!" I reassured her again, "now close your eyes, don't open them" I instructed her, I don't want her to see me weak.

"Jisoo, you should go sleep, it's already past midnight" I told her, since we still have a full day of school tomorrow. "Okay, please be careful Jess" she told me and I patted her back "don't worry ah~ good night"

after she left I seated myself next to my mom and placed both of my hand above her weak body, "mom this will be more painful than usual, be ready and please don't scream" I informed her and she nodded with her eyes still tightly shut.

"3,2,1, don't shout" my red glow came out of my palm and covered her body, I can feel her pain, but my pain was worse, my body is slowly weakening and I can feel my power fading a bit after 5 minutes of working.

"mom hang on!" I shouted, more to tell myself than calming my mom.

my red glow fades and the light covering her body faded with it, I was feeling as weak as my glow, *oh, come on! it's almost there!* "h-honey are we done?" my mom asked as the pain was no longer upon her. "s-sorry mom, just 5 more minutes, I-I promise" I told her, I am actually not very sure about the 5 minutes thing because I have no idea how long it would take me.

"be careful honey" I nodded again and placed my hands back above her, palm facing her still body. "3,2,1 don't shout" my glow came back but this time weaker, my hazel-brown iris turned bright red and veins popping out of my arm and neck.

The exhaust hovering all over me, I can barely keep my eyes open, I feel the wound healing, this is definitely more than 5 minutes.

"ah! done" I signed and plopped onto my chair and closed my eyes, all my redness has faded. "honey? are you okay?" I slowly opened my eyes again and saw my mom sitting back up, looking way stronger than before. but my body is so weak.

"honey! Jessica!" I slightly hear my mom shouting but the buzzing sound in my ear takes over her voice.

*aish, Jessica you can't 'die' now! we still got to move tomorrow* I forced myself up and reopen my eyes, but the buzzing sound is still in my ears.

"Jessica, why didn't you tell me that you're about to charge? honey, why you have to force yourself?" My mom whispered softly but worried into my ear and I faintly smiled, "mom don't worry, I got it" I said.

The rest of the night was painful and frustrating because the full-moon is coming and my creature inside me wants to get out.

"don't make this more difficult for me Snow! I'm already weak, I can't shift now" I spoke to my wolf inside. (My coat is silver grey which is where my original name came from, SnowHound.)

"Jessica? are you still awake?"
