The next two days were spent totally avoiding eachother,well as much as they could living in the same room.
Ufaq seemed queit and distant and mansha did not feel like talking to him at all.

Mansha spent most of her time with dadi and two of ufaqs cousins who were apparently nice to her.while ufaq was mostly out of the house simply to avoid mansha and the other households.he would come late ,eat dinner and doze off to sleep leaving mansha to toss and turn in her bed,since that day she was feeling dejected and restless,his calmness made her angry,how could he sleep so peacefully disturbing her in and out.
Groaning she sat up on the bed.enough was enough,she needed revenge ,that to asap!!!

Leaving her bed she poured a glass of water and the next instant spilled it on ufaq..
Yelping he woke up wiping his forehead.

"What the hell!"
Groaning he stood up to face her who had a very reliefed smile playing on her lips.

"Dont tell me, you did this mansha."

"It was by mistake,now move i am too sleepy"
Yawning she moved towards her bed to be stopped by him.holding on to her wrist he tugged on her pulling her back,her back collided with his chest,his warm breath on her neck sending tingles through her body.

"Hmm,mujhe uthaa kar khud sonay jaa rahi ho,not fair sweetheart."
Moving her hair to a side with his hands he placed his chin on her shoulder and whispered seductively in her ear,
Her heart best was going wild now,she was now regretting waking him up.and wait what was he upto now,two days back he backed off touching her then why now?

"Move away! "Pushing him away with her elbow she went and hid herself under the quilt.
While ufaq stayed rooted, dumbfounded.maybe he deserved it.

Sorry!" Mouthing an apology,he sprawled on the floor leaning against his bed closing his eyes because clearly his bed was wet and he could not sleep there.

Peeking from the quilt mansha saw ufaq on the floor and felt bad in her heart,he seemed so restless and tired.
Walking upto him she shook him by his arm.
Opening his eyes,he raised his eyebrows at her,his usual habbit...

"Come sleep on the double bed,you will sprain your neck here."

"No I am fine,"

"Dont be stubborn,I wont bite you.
get up and come otherwise i will sit here also,all night."

Sighing he got up.
Mansha placed pillows as borders between the two making ufaq chuckle at this nonsense..

"And what happens if I cross this border???"
He said suppressing his laugh.

"A war happens! I will kick you! Get it!." Her reply was instant..

"Roger boss!" Bowing his head ,he came and layed down on the farthest end of the bed while she was on the other end.

Ufaq woke up,smile overtaking his face.mansha who had apparently built borders last night was half laying on top of him, her face burried in his chest and legs on top of him..
"Ah! What a sleeper she is.!" Smiling he moved her hair from her face and kissed her forehead waking her up in the process...
Mansha thought she was dreaming seeing ufaq so close to her but the door knock made her realise it was really the reality..

"Backoff you! I warned you not to enter in my personal space."
Controlling her heart she nearly yelled earning a hearty laugh from ufaq in return..

"Madame you are the one ,cuddling with me,invading my personal space.I literally doubt your intentions now."
Smiling and dodging the pillow mansha had thrown at him,he rushed to the toilet.
While mansha went to see who was at the door,trying to control her blush.

Dadi had ordered everyone to prepare for a picnic at lake saiful malook, and mansha got super excited about going for an outing,ufaq had to agree seeing her happiness.

Quickly changing into a pink dress,she applied very minimal makeup leaving her hair open wearing a denim jacket on top clearly copying Ufaq who was wearing a denim jacket.

The ride to the lake was scary and bumpy, the road was very narrow filled with jeeps.

Scared mansha held tightly on to ufaqs hand which was on thr gears while dadi coughed mischievously from the back seat, dadi was with them sitting at the back seat even after mansha kept on insistung her to sit in front,dadi denied and said its your time now,I have always sat beside baran khan the old man.
while the rest of the people were in baran khans 4wheel drive jeep.

"Dadi,I am scared na!"
Mansha said pouting.

"Nice excuse beta ,hahahah!" Dadi laughed at her cuteness and a smile creeped up ufaqs face,seeing these two ladies mingled up that well.

The lake is a source of the Kunhar river. The ride was worth it,the views were sooo scenic mesmerizing the viewers, mansha was so happy snaping pictures from every angle,running all around the place chirping happily and Ufaq couldent decide which view was more ravishing!

After lunch by the lake ,all the kids gathered aroumd dadi who was busy telling them about the story of the jheel, the fairytale that was associated with this place about the fairies that used to live here and a giant who fell in love with a beautiful fairy.
Mansha was mesmerized listening to the story,that she didnt realise ufaq had come and taken seat beside her .

"If you want to see the fairies and the cave where they reside,come with me silently."
Softly whispering in her ear ufaq managed to gain her attention.blinking her eyes she held onto his hand that he had forwarded towards her,sneaking away with him.A smile formed on dadi's lips and a dua escaped her mouth for her kids .

"You are such a liar,there is no cave and no fairies here!"
Panting hard mansha stamped her feet angrily,she had been walking with him leaving behind dadi's interesting stories and till now there was no sign of any hidden cave or any fairies..

"Fairy to hai,guaranteed! (There is a fairy) but the cave and the giant ,thats all a myth."
Ufaq teased her.

"Fine then show me the fairy!" She demanded..

"Hmm lets see,,,," opening his phones camera he positioned it in front of her.

"Oh okay,now come here ,i will show you the giant!" Smiling at his cuteness,she took a selfie of them both...

"I called you a fairy and you are refering to me as a giant,not fair mansha." He pouted making her laugh..

"The giant eventually did fall for the fairy!" She said pinching his dimple which she adored so much..

"Hahahahha,you are such a fairytale beleiver..."mocking her he swatted her hands away from his cheeks..

"Wanna go boating?" He offered her and hell,she got excited..

"Yayyy,omG you are the best ufaq"clinging to him,she sounded the happiest..

"Come!"

The boat ride was so dreamy, the only two of them having a boat ride in a lake between large snow clad mountains...
Mansha was having the experience of a life time.making memories..
Splashing cold water at him.
He was glad that she was happy.

This trip was the most memorable one..
