Chapter One: Theme of Eastern Story
The wind was chilly, and the sky seemed to look like a shade of faded blue on that particular day..
The day when everything seemed to fall apart for everyone.

"Marisa! Get back here right now and return my books!" the purple haired librarian said in rage. "Hah! I'll return them when I die!" the human magician teased. "Patche-sama, did that girl steal your books again?" the librarian's assistant, nicknamed Koakuma said. "..Ugh, yes she did. That now makes my library 13% missing books." Patchouli said in disappointment.
"Run, run, RUN!" Marisa said as she headed toward the dining hall of the Scarlet Devil Mansion carrying a stack of magic books. "Grimoire of Patchouli Knowledge" one of them said. Marisa ran through the many hallways of the Mansion, before finally reaching the dining hall. She jerked the door open, and shouted, "Am I late?".
Three people were present there. Yukari Yakumo, the border Youkai, Reimu Hakurei, the Shrine Maiden, and Remilia Scarlet, the vampire. They were sitting at a huge table, with a crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. They stared at her, not uttering a word.
"I'll just have a seat now, I guess..." Marisa muttered as she sat down and set the stack of books on the floor. "Now, what'd I miss?"
Remilia Scarlet had invited Yukari, Reimu, and Marisa over to her Mansion for an important discussion. You see, Remilia has been noticing that Gensokyo has not been normal lately. The sky mostly seems dark, the flowers have been dying one by one, everything wasn't as lively anymore. Yukari has noticed this too, but she knows why it's happening.
"Marisa, Gensokyo is going to.." Reimu mumbled with a quivering voice. Her voice revealed sadness and pain, like she had lost a loved one. Remilia looked to the side, her lips quivering as well. Yukari maintained a poker face, staring down at the clothed table in front of her.
Marisa turned to Reimu, looking at her face. Small tears rolled down her cheek and off her face into her lap. "Reimu, what is happening..." Marisa whispered with concern.
Yukari stood up and said, "Marisa, this world will perish in twenty days. ,It will perish just like any other world. Gensokyo is connected to the outside world, and the outside world...Has been annihilated. The outside world is no longer inhabited by anyone, or any living thing. Soon, Gensokyo will be annihilated, destroying everything and killing us all. Even if you're immortal, you will still be killed along with the rest of Gensokyo."
Marisa's eyes widened, she couldn't believe what Yukari had said. Reimu burst into tears, crying on Marisa's shoulder. A feeling of despair was in that room.
