Chapter 5: The Other Us
The people were us.
Well, a different version of us.
Like, a weird, twisted version of us.
I looked like a crazy person. A person who turned into some sort of demon. Kind of like a human, female version of Bill Cipher, exept with two eyes and blue. Her hair reminded me of fire.
The other Dipper walked up to us. He had a slight southern accent. "It seems we've fallen into an alternet universe."
The other Dipper pressed his knife a little harder then gently under real Dipper's chin. "Wha-who..? B-bu- this isn't possible! Your not possible!"
"Then why am I standing right here?"
There was a yell. Mabel was lifted into the air, incased in green light. I turned to the other Mabel. "Hey!" Mabel said.
"They are kinda cute, don't you think?" The other Mabel said thoughfully.
I turned to the alternet version of me. She smirked at me. "If you'd kept using your powers regularaly, you could've been even more powerful then Bill Cipher. But your Bill Cipher. Not this coward." She tugged on the chain she was holding.
"...Bill?"
The man in chains looked like he was crying. He was a dull blue and just looked depressing. "P-please don't let them hurt me again!" His voice shook.
I turned my attention back to the other me. "Let's settle this thing." I lit up my hand with fire. Why would I get rid of Dream Demon powers? These things were helpful in the hands of a sane person.
Before I could shoot it, however, the other me lit up her hand and threw her own fire ball at me. I slammed against the wall and the wind got knocked out of me.
As I struggled to breath, the other me grabbed me and held me in a looser choke hold in the air. She seemed to cancel out my powers.
Dipper was up against the wall with the alternet him pressing the knife closer to his throat. "We won't hurt you," he said. "If you cooperate."
"Cooperate for what?" Dipper asked, not taking his eyes off the knife.
"You see," alternet Dipper began. "Your little machine has ripped a tear in the fabric of time and space. You've opened up a way to a whole new dimention. Actually, dementions."
"Oh great," Dipper muttered. "There's gonna be more alternet me's?"
"Perhaps," alternet Dipper said. "But let's not worry about that right now."
Mabel, who was still incased in green light, made a face. "Wait, so why exacly are we your prisoners?"
"Well," alternet Mabel said. "We can't go just both of us walking around, can we? Someone might think that they're going crazy."
"Then why don't you just go back to your own place?" Mabel asked.
"Our own place got boring," the alternet version of me said. "We want to see what this place is like."
"Now, let's get down to buisness," alternet Dipper said. He pressed the knife deeper into Dipper's throat.
"Wait!" Dipper said. "Y-you shouldn't kill us!"
"And why not?" Alternet Dipper asked. Man, this guy was like the opposite of Dipper.
"Because...w-we can help you. What if you...run into something that you don't know what to do with. W-we could tell you, like, what to say or something." Dipper was talking fast. "Or if someone gets suspitious, we could tell you how to act in from of them."
Alternet Dipper tapped his chin in thought with his free hand. "Alright. But we won't let you walk around freely. Kayla?"
The alternet me snapped her fingers. Dipper and Mabel where tied up to two chairs, back to back.
"W-what about me?" I was almost too scared to ask.
Alternet Kayla held me in front of her. "I'm pushing you into the mindscape. Using your body will be more useful to me. Now, if you could just hold still..."
"Wait! You're gonna possess me?!"
"Um, duh!"
She reached out her hand, which she lit on fire. There was a strange sensation and then a tug. I flew out of my body. I looked, horrified, down at myself. I went to touch myself, but my hand went right through. That's not suppose to happen!
"What about our attire?" Alternet Mabel asked Alternet Dipper.
"Easy," Alternet Dipper said. He reached out and stole Zipper's hat. "Only our eye color is different. Kayla, could you give us a hand?"
"Let's see if my powers still work," alternet me said. She snapped her fingers and the alternet Pines looked exacly like the normal ones, well what they used to look like. Alternet Dipper had real Dipper's shorts and vest on. Alternet Mabel had real Mabel's old sweater and skirt. They smiled at each other. "You look completly childish."
"You as well," alternet Mabel said.
"We'll come down in a little bit to check on you. Don't get any ideas while we're gone."
They went upstairs and left us here. "Mabel! Dipper!" I tried to get their attention.
They didn't seem to here or see me.
Dipper was looking in the opposite direction when he said, "Kayla, you can't be heard without a vesel. Go and get a puppet or something.
"Okay," I said, even tough they couldn't hear me.
