Suki offered to help watch the boys and other women that found the children adorable offered to help as well, the older women wanted to make sure the boys were fed but Suki kept them close, teasing that she found them first.

"Will they be ok?" Toph laughed a little bit Zuko looked at his kids. They were eating up the attention and enjoyed themselves.

"Perfectly fine, should Suki be over here though?" Zuko asked as he sat next to Sokka and Toph. Iroh, Hakoda, Pakku, piandao, Bumi and Katara sat around the large map of the world that was rolled out over the grass.

"Actually she's the one that helped me with this and we went over it last week with my dad and Pakku," sokka raised his hand proudly.

"For the past two years Azula has been taking the fire nation further and further out but the way she's been concurring more of the earth kingdom there's no pattern, here is where she started up again since ba sing si," Sokka had a stick to point to a part of the North.

"But then she's gone down to the south, back north, and west, for the past two years she's been moving from kyoshi to the colonies and to ba sing si, that's what makes me think she's searching for something," he explained and Zuko looked at Katara.

"Or someone?" Zuko asked and she pursed her lips.

"Neither are clear, we see the pattern but whatever threat they have they would've taken out by now, and no one has had anything on Aang for eight years," Katara told him shaking her head.

"Power," Bumi offered.

"Azula and Ozai have spent the past eight years grabbing whatever power and fear that they can get, they know there's something more powerful that can ruin them," he had a hand on his chin thinking about it.

"What's more powerful than the avatar?" Toph frowned not understanding.

"Nothing is, but what's something no one can escape?" Bumi smiled but not one person got his riddle.

There was an uncomfortable silence once it sunk in.

"That tells me nothing," sokka blinked unamused.

"Ah you won't get it then, it's their end, it's their deaths," Bumi pouted as no one got his riddle.

"So they're afraid of dying and having power taken away," zuko stated.

"Could it be the nation itself? Are they afraid of the people rebelling?" Katara asked.

Iroh and Hakoda looked at each other but their children caught it.

"What?" Sokka noticed.

"There's been a rebellion, many people have been seeing the flaws of their nation and are desperate for peace, recently Azula ordered an execution," Iroh sighed sadly knowing his people and his family are going to war as well.

"She's killing our own?" Zuko sat up straighter now at the disturbing news.

"Ozai will kill anyone that stands in his way, including us, he's been trying to find the white lotus where many of the masters have fled too," Iroh nodded.

"So what do we do?" Katara asked.

The twins got bored and went to explore the camp grounds as the adults continued their meeting. Aito wanted to pay attention but the twins were told to go play somewhere else.

"Who knew old man had friends," Ren laughed as the boys walked around the camp to venture their new surroundings.

"Do you think papa is going to stay here?" The blue eye twin mumbled playing with his ear a little.

"That means we have to stay with them?" Ren raised a brow.

"Do you think they-" aito cut himself off but that made Ren stop.

"What?" His brother asked.

"Nothing... I just wonder if they knew..." aito couldn't say it.

"Our mom?" Ren finished and he nodded softly.

"We don't have a mom," ren shook his head frowning and aito twisted the bottom of his shirt anxiously.

"Do you ever wonder why she doesn't want to see us?" Aito asked quietly.

"No I don't, maybe she won't see us ever," ren crossed his arms.

"I don't want her to come back anyways, I like it with pops more," Ren scoffed at the idea of having someone else besides their father.

"Yea me too," aito nodded but he looked at Ren softly.

They were almost identical in facials shapes, Ren had a golden tan and dark brown hair with gold eyes that represented their father: while aito had paler skin and the same hair color with blue eyes no one seem to make note of, his face was a little rounder than rens and they both had the same nose like their father.

He always felt sad knowing he doesn't look as much as their father like Ren did, he felt left out.

They heard yelling a little from the meeting and saw their father stand up yelling over something while Sokka was trying to reason with him. The white lotus members seemed to be on the other side that Zuko was yelling at.

"I would never fucking agree to that and you bastards know it!" Zuko raised his voice and Iroh stood to help hold him back. The twins looked at each other worried only knowing those were bad words Zuko only yelled when he was very very upset with other adults.

"Prince Zuko you do not raise your voice at the masters-" "fuck the masters I am not helping with this!"

"Katara I'm taking appa and going home, we're not staying," he looked at her as Katara didn't seemed phased by the yelling.

"Zuko know this is for the sake of the world!" Pakku glared crossing his arms.

"I won't take any part in you killing Azula!" Zuko sneered.

"So you take her side?" Pakku stood up.

"Are you stupid? No, but that woman isn't in the right mind she's a lunatic! She needs help not to be put down like an animal!" Zuko spat as they both grew heated.

"And what if she gets her hands on those children? What if your father and sister find out about the twins? Would you change your mind then?" Hakoda spoke up.

"Don't bring them into this," Zuko stopped his yelling for the chief.

"You wanted me to help but I don't even know what there is to help with! We're done with the search of the avatar, in the past four years there has been nothing done to fucking kill Ozai, what am I doing here but wasting my time?" Zuko crossed his arms glaring.

"We live far in the east side of the earth kingdom, we won't be in your way to do whatever this is, I'm taking my children and going," he scoffed as no one answered.

"I will help you prince Zuko," Iroh tsked and the two parted away to go get their stuff. Zuko still fuming when he left.

"We can't lose him now, it took years just to find this jerk," toph groaned getting up, Sokka, Hakoda and Suki went to follow Toph to the two fire royals tent.

"What an embarrassment, he's acting like the child he's always been,"  pakku spat annoyed.

"It was a bad idea to drag him back if it was known he had his own family," Katara argued.

"A brat like him raising those boys to be men? Don't make me laugh Katara," Pakku paid no mind as he got up.

"Those boys could become the future of this lost nation," Jong Jong corrected him.

"Children are our future, they'll outlive us," Bumi agreed.

Pakku shook his head but when he turned to start walking he stumbled into aito making the young boy fall, the master caught himself before he could hit the ground as well.

"I am not in the mood for this, children are not meant to be in this camp," pakku growled irritated as aito sat on his knees, he had scraps on his palms from the rocks in the dry dirt.

"Hey watch it punk!" Ren jumped in front of aito as his brother stumbled getting back to his feet, a little surprised.

"Aito are you okay?" Katara ran to the child seeing he was hurt from the fall.

"Your fine, walk it off brats," master pakku waved them off.

"Apologize!" Ren stomped his foot.

"Stay out of my way," pakku raised a brow at them.

"Pakku!" Katara snapped.

"He pushed aito!" Ren yelled as his brother stayed quiet rubbing the rocks and dirt off his hands but he had scrapped knees and a few on his palms.

"Pakku just say your sorry to the boys," Katara defended them as she helped aito to stand up gently.

"They were in the way, they should've moved," pakku crossed his arms. "Maybe children shouldn't be here," he narrowed his eyes.

"Say sorry!" Ren yelled again.

"Owwie," aito mumbled rubbing the dirt off his knees.

Ren's face flared up in anger.

Kataras heart stopped seeing tears weld up on aito's eyes as he stopped touching his scrapped knees. He sniffled a little trying not to cry but a tear ran down his cheek.

"Pakku I beg you apologize to aito," Katara hissed as she knelt down to the boy again trying to help his injuries. A few tears fell down aito's face.

"Papaaaaaaaa!"

It was to late.

Ren crossed his arms glaring at pakku as aito tried to wipe his tears away but it hurt his hand more so he started to cry more with hiccups and gasps.

"Okay okay I'm sorry child, sorry," pakku hissed covering his face.

Katara threw her hands up giving up knowing it was to late. Pakku was on his own.

Zuko was quick out of the tent with iroh and saw his boys. He heard aito's cry's and came running.

"Hey what happened?" Zuko asked as aitos bottom lip puckered and trembled as he held his small hands up to show his injuries.

"Ow ow owie, my hands and my knees, it hurts a lot papa," aito cried as Ren was shaking his head at pakku.

"What the fuck happened?" Zuko looked directly at Pakku as ren stood next to Katara.

"He fell over aito," ren snitched.

"Well let's go clean your hands and knees, it happens when you fall, you're going to be okay," Zuko held him and gently rubbed his back to calm down his baby.

"I know you hate the fire nation but he's a child Pakku," the prince growled. If only the ignorant elder knew the twins were water tribe as well, see if he still felt the need to look down on them.

"I think pakku has something to say," Katara stopped the master from trying to leave. She pointed back at aito when she turned pakku around.

"Pops, this old butthead pushed aito!" Ren called over as he didn't take his eyes off the master bender.

"I didn't push him!" Pakku snapped back at the boy.

"You still knocked him over, your being a jerk!" Ren yelled back.

"I am a master water bender, I am not being harassed by a toddler," the old man scoffed shaking his head.

"More like a master turd bender you old jerk! You made my brother cry," Ren went to attack but Katara grabbed the back of his shirt easily holding him back.

"Jerk bender," ren stuck out his tongue and blew obnoxiously.

"I apologize to the boy, this is over exaggerating," pakku sighed a little but Katara nudged him.

"Say sorry to aito, and to ren for being rude," Katara told the man.

"I'm sorry aito, and ren," pakku rolled his eyes.

"It's okay, I'm sorry for not moving," aito laid his head against zukos shoulder with his hands curled against his chest. Pakku felt guilt seeing how small the boy actually was against the young father.

"Are we done? Your done harassing my kids?" Zuko asked annoyed again as ren went over and held onto zukos leg.

"Just go, they're just kids, you shouldn't be so harsh," Katara patted the side of pakku's arm as he left them.

"I didn't have children for a reason," Pakku mumbled to himself annoyed leaving.

"Let's go get you cleaned up buddy, we don't want your owwies to get worse," Zuko kissed aito's forehead gently and he nodded softly.

Zuko looked at Katara seeing how she was defending the boys. He held aito close as he looked down at his hands, they weren't bad, top layer of skin was scrapped from the gravel.

"You're fine, we'll wash it off and you'll be good as new," Zuko told him with a small smile as he spared Katara a glance.
