When I wake up the next day and go into the hallway, I see Lauren and several other people I don't know walking down the hallway in sync with each other.

Something is wrong.

Not wanting to attract attention, I fall into step with them.

They lead me into the pit, where each of them grab weapons and start toward the exit.  I follow suit.

Before all of us are outside, I hear someone speak.  I almost jump after all of the quiet.

"What's going on?  Does anyone know what's going on?" Some asks.  It immediately dawns on me.

A Divergent.

And a stupid one at that.

A gunshot soon follows, and I start slowing turning my head to look for Tris.  Surely she's smart enough not to do that.

When everyone has filed into the train, I start to hear someone pushing through us.  The rest of the robots are of course just ignoring it, but I fight the urge to turn my head and see who it is.

Then she is next to me.

Tris.

We stand silently next to each other until the train stops and we file out.

Once we're well into the city, she speaks.

"We have to save my parents."

It's barely a whisper, but I still hear.

"When we get to the Abnegation Sector, we'll look."
