Chapter 3

Izuku and Hitoshi continued to talk for about five more minutes before Izuku suddenly led the purple-haired male to a seat next to him.

"Shh...I hear our teacher coming," Shoji mumbled, yet spoke loud enough for everyone else to hear. Everyone quieted down, sitting in their seats as the soft, padded footsteps grew closer to the large 1-A door.

Soon, said the door opened and the whole class diverted their attention to a pretty scruffy man in a yellow sleeping bag. The man sighed and walked in, shrugging it off and crossing his arms. Izuku's eyes widened as he knew exactly who was standing in front of them. Eraserhead, or Aizawa Shouta. The green-haired male would see this particular hero gracefully running along the rooftops in Hiretsu all the time, during the late hours of the night of course.

Aizawa glanced to Izuku, taking in his appearance before turning back to the rest of the class. He didn't seem very pleased, but at the same time, he didn't look like the type to smile a lot. He had long, black hair that looked a little messy cascading over his shoulders, just reaching past his shoulder blades. His eyes were a deep, dark grey, almost black, and his skin was quite pale. The man looked like he had never seen sunlight before.

As Izuku continued to analyze every detail of the pro hero in front of him, the hero finally spoke up.

"It took you guys almost eight minutes to quiet down. If no one is going to focus and put their all into it, you might as well just go ahead and leave," spoke Aizawa, as he pointed towards the large, tall door to class 1-A. Everyone stayed quiet, almost ashamed...Well, almost everyone.

Izuku had snuck his notebook out and jotted down some more notes on the hero, also keeping his mind somewhat blank so as to be able to hear whatever his teacher had to say.

"So no one is going to leave? Good. I am Aizawa Shouta or Eraserhead. I will be your homeroom teacher for the rest of your years here. Without any further questioning or any interruptions, why don't we head outside to perform a quirk apprehension test?" The onyx-haired male scanned the teens' faces, and everyone started to look excited again.

After getting on their custom-made training uniforms, class 1-A walked outside to the training grounds, each student taking it all in. Izuku's eyes started doing their usual glowing again as he glanced at everyone's faces, some giving him weird looks about it... Especially a certain explosive blonde.

Shinso hummed and walked up to Izuku, looking him straight in the eyes. Izuku smirked and let his eyes glow brighter, taking the gorgeous purple-haired male by surprise. The said purple-clad male grinned after a moment.

"That's impressive...What's your quirk again?" Shinsou asked, glancing at the shorter male curiously. Izuku fidgeted with his bandaged hands, humming softly.

"I have multiple," Izuku spoke. Shinsou's eyes widened as he stared at the green-haired male in awe.

"You have multiple," Shinsou exclaimed excitedly. Izuku nodded with a grin, already taking a liking to the male in front of him. "What are they? How many do you have? Can you show me all of them," Shinsou rambled a bit, the green-haired male raising an eyebrow. 'He reminds me of myself...'

"U-Uh...Sure! I have...two, in total. Deduction, and super strength, and yes, I can show you both of them...Of course only if you'd like," Midoriya offered. Shinsou had only noticed he had been rambling when he watched Izuku's eyebrow raise, along with his vertical surface piercing.

"Sorry for rambling by the way- I'm not usually like this-" Izuku cut him off with a soft chuckle, patting his shoulder lightly.

"It's all cool! No worries," Shinsou smiled at his words, relaxing a bit.

"So...Deduction? How does that one work," the purple-haired male asked with a curious gleam in his eyes. Izuku grinned brightly and hummed, looking him over for a second, his eyes glowing brighter.

"Your love for cats is astonishing. You have two- no. Three. A British shorthair, a Prussian blue, and a Maine coon. You find great pleasure in hanging out with them, and you allow them into your bed, even though you're not allowed to. People think you wear the same clothes every day, but the truth is that you wash every load the night before, as you absolutely despise the idea of having to wear dirty clothes, but you have such sensitive skin to the point where your comfy clothes are the only things that help. You are an insomniac, and as that may be obvious to some people, the real reason you can't get any sleep is that your home life is kinda rough. Hm...Or is it because of your own fears?" Shinsou just watched and listened with a shocked look on his face.

"I-I-...Uh-"

"Oh! My bad, it's both, is it not? You don't seem afraid of your father...So maybe your mother? You don't have any marks on you, even below your clothes, therefore I'm assuming its mental threats," Izuku mumbled, looking over him again. "You have a few unhealthy habits, one of them being that you put up walls to everyone around you and don't make many friends. Because of this, many people are skeptical of you."

Again, Shinsou was shocked. Izuku was spot on with each detail...And he wanted to know how.

"How...How did you know I have sensitive skin," Hitoshi asked, and for that, Izuku had a quick and simple answer.

"I could easily tell because your skin has started to get a slight tinge of pink, the warning signs of an oncoming rash, and specifically around the collar of the training uniforms, where the seams just happen to be."

Shinsou was truly impressed, and completely floored by this boy's quirk. "..Our quirks would make a great pair..-" He had accidentally mumbled. Izuku responded to this by grinning widely and holding out his hand.

"Then, let's be a team, Hitoshi Shinsou!" Hitoshi stared at his hand for a minute before grinning and shaking his hand.

"Yeah, let's be a team, Izuku Midoriya."

"Problem children, please pay attention!" Aizawa called out from the larger group. Izuku chuckled softly and led Shinsou back over to the rest of the class, where the others seemed to be a bit wary around them. "So, how this is going to work is that there will be seven different tests. They will each test one physical trait about themselves, and quirks are allowed. Bakugou, why don't you come up first and test how far to can throw this ball, using your quirk if you want."

Katsuki nodded with a smirk and came up to him, taking the ball. Aizawa stepped away as Katsuki got ready to throw the ball.

"sshhiiiIIINNNNEEE!!!!"

He yelled as he threw the ball, using the explosions with his quirk to an advantage.

"705.2 meters," The little machine Aizawa was holding chirped. Everyone stared at Katsuki in shock, making the blonde scoff and return to the line.

"Uraraka, step on up, please," Aizawa mumbled tiredly. Ochako nodded and walked up to him, taking the ball in her hands. She activated her quirk and threw it. Once again, the machine chirped.

"Infinity!" Ochako nervously rubbed the back of her neck as she made her way back to the line.

"...Midoriya." Izuku winked at Aizawa as he walked up, a slight smirk on his face.

"That's my name, sensei, don't wear it out,~" he teased, taking the ball and activating One for All and Deduction at the same time, calculating where to throw and at what percent. He threw the ball and started walking back to the line, Aizawa already staring down at the screen of the device he held in his hands.

"What does it say, sensei," Hitoshi called out, many of the others looking interested. That, was right before the device chirped the score.

"963.1 meters!"

All eyes now turned to Midoriya, who flinched at the feeling of their gazes on him, starting to fiddle with the hem of his shirt, staring down at the ground.

After everyone was done with the ball throw, and after six more tests, the class was finally allowed to go back inside, some of the more...unfit ones out of breath and sweating from how hot it was outside.

As usual, Midoriya and Shinsou met over in the far left-hand corner of the classroom, by one of the windows.

"How...How did you manage to throw a ball almost a thousand meters," Hitoshi breathed out in disbelief. Izuku laughed softly and grinned.

"I threw with super-strength, but I used deduction to calculate where I should throw and where the best grip the ball would be in my hand." Hitoshi watched him explain in fascination. Izuku finished his explanation and then paused. "Shinsou-Kun?" Shinsou realized he had been staring, his cheeks flushing a bright pink as he shook his head and glanced away.

"S-Sorry," the purple-haired male started, "I didn't mean to lose focus." Midoriya bit his lip a bit and hummed.

"Don't worry, but are you okay," the green-haired male asked. Shinsou nodded, slowly claiming down and cooling off.

"Yeah I'm fi-" Hitoshi was quickly cut off but a loud yell.

"DEKU!" Izuku looked towards the source of the noise, seeing Bakugou being held back by Kirishima and Sero.

"Huh," Izuku snickered, "are you angry that I got a higher score than you, Kacchan?~" Katsuki growled.

"WHEN THE FUCK-" Izuku cut him off.

"I've always had a quirk, Kacchan," Midoriya spoke as he crossed his arms.

"No, the fuck you didn't," Katsuki seethed, "what's the name of it then?"

"Deduction and super strength. Just simple power-up and intelligence quirks." Katsuki stared at the shorter male with a look of shock and utter disbelief.

"What did I say about taking a long time to quiet down and sit in your seats," A gruff voice spoke from behind them. Everyone returned to their seats, Katsuki still staring at the desk he was sitting at.

'Oh boy, this is going to be a fun year....'

It's been a couple of days. They've gotten their hero uniforms and the class is now getting ready to go on a field trip to the U.S.J., or the Unforeseen Simulation Joint.

"Now please line up in alphabetical order, let's do this right, people," Iida instructed, of course having no one listen to him. They all got on the bus, Izuku sitting beside Hitoshi.

"So...What's the deal with Bakugou over there," Shinsou asked. Izuku tilted his head a bit while fidgeting with his hands in his lap. Hitoshi nodded his head over to Bakugou who was glaring daggers at Izuku, while also having a hint of confusion in his eyes.

"Ah. We...grew up together, but always thought I was quirkless because deduction doesn't really show through as an obvious quirk like everyone else's. For the longest time, even I didn't know I had a quirk. Oh, and the super strength part was a late bloomer." Shinsou nodded at the new information then hummed, looking around, then at Bakugou.

"Hey, Bakugou?"

"The fuck you want, Eye Bags?!" As soon as Bakugou had answered, his eyes turned a dull shady grey.

"Stop staring at us." Bakugou had complied and looked away, out of the window instead. Izuku stared at Hitoshi in awe and shock.

"Woahhh- That's so cool!" Hitoshi furrowed his brows as he looked at the green-haired male.

"Really? You think so?" Izuku had no idea why Hitoshi was so surprised about this- He had a great quirk-.

"Yeah! Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well...A lot of people say my quirk is fit for a villain and that I'm a villain in disguise..." Izuku looked almost offended at this.

"Well, fuck what they think. If they can't see who you actually want to be, then there's no point in listening to what they have to say. I know it may be hard, but don't listen to them, they have no idea what they're talking about." Shinsou smiled and nodded a bit.

"Thank you, Iz-Midoriya." Izuku chuckled and hummed.

"You're welcome, Hitoshi." Shinsou's eyes lit up slightly as he smiled a bit wider.

"Alright, class. We're here." Aizawa gruffed out and proceeded to get off of the bus. One by one, the teens started to trickle out of the bus as well.

"Woahhh! It looks like Universal Studios Japan!" Kaminari exclaimed loudly.

"You're right, it does!" Mina followed back. The kids started to gush about how it looked like the said theme park.

"Come on, we don't have all day." Aizawa sighed after speaking. Everyone followed him inside and Shinsou released his hold on Bakugou. Once they were all inside at the highest point in the building, they could see all of the disaster zones. A short person came up to them.

"Hello! I am Space Hero: Thirteen, and today we will be testing you all on your rescue skills. Your powers are not meant to inflict harm. I hope you leave here today with the understanding that you're meant to help people. With that being said, there are six disaster zones. We have the Ruins Zone, the Landslide Zone, the Mountain Zone, the Conflagration Zone, the Flood Zone, and the Downpour Zone. All of you will be somewhat evenly dispersed into each zone to perform rescue missions!" Thirteen spoke, making sure she pointed out each zone. She looked to Aizawa.

"Where's All Might?" Aizawa held up three fingers and pointed at them, signifying he had already used up all three hours of his hero form today. She nodded and looked back towards the class.

Izuku furrowed his eyebrows and nudged Hitoshi.

"Hey, what's that smoke down there in the Central Plaza?" Hitoshi followed his gaze, his eyes almost transfixed on the swirling black smoke. Soon enough, all of the other students had noticed it and were pointing it out to each other. Thirteen and Eraserhead shared a look before turning around and seeing what the kids were making a fuss about.

"VILLAINS!" Mineta shouted, looking like he was ready to cry. Eraserhead looked to Thirteen.

"Thirteen! Stay here and keep the kids safe!" The onyx-haired male tugged at his capture weapon and ran down to the Central Plaza.

Shigaraki smirked and laughed, more villains steadily flowing through the warp-like gate.

"ERASER! BE CAREFUL DOWN THERE!" Aizawa heard Thirteen's yell from behind him and nodded mainly to himself, readying his capture weapon.

"My, my, my. What a sight! Where's All Might? We were told he'd be here today..-" Shigaraki started to itch at his neck, when Kurogiri stepped in and told him to stop scratching and that there were other pro heroes here to dispose of, as he wants. Shigaraki took this info into perspective and nodded, laughing.

"Kurogiri, the kids," Shigaraki murmured.

In front of Thirteen, most of the kids disappeared in the black warp-like smoke.

Izuku found himself without Hitoshi for once, his heart starting to race. Where was he? He seemed to be somewhat deep underwater.

'No...No. No no no no no-' At this instant, he felt something wrap around his waist and start pulling him out of the water. When he finally opened his eyes again, he was staring over the railing of a ship, with different villains in the water.

"Midoriya-Kun! You alright? Kero."  Tsuyu placed her hand on Izuku's shoulder. The green-haired male flinched and looked to her, seeing that he was also with Mineta. He shook his hands at his side, a nervous and anxious stim or tic of his. After taking a deep breath and ceasing the movements in his hands, he nodded.

"Yeah...I'm okay. Thanks, Asui."

"Call me Tsu. Kero." Izuku nods a bit.

"Okay, Tsu.." He looked around again and looked at Mineta who screamed.

"THEY'RE COMING CLOSER TO THE SHIP! THERE'S TOO MANY OF THEM!"

"Mineta, did you really come to U.A. to be a hero?" Tsu asked the very short male.

"HEY THAT'S RUDE!" Mineta screamed, tears welling in his eyes. Izuku looked over the railing of the ship, calculating how many villains were in the water. He also took this time to look around to see if he could spot Hitoshi.

Hitoshi and a few other classmates were up near the entrance, the highest peak of the building. Hitoshi had panicked a bit when Izuku was warped away, then glared and narrowed his eyes at the tall, wispy man in front of him, the other select few classmates, and Thirteen.

"Iida! Quick! Get to the exit and run to U.A.! Inform the teachers!" Thirteen shouted behind her towards the said male.

"I-...I can't! As class rep, I have to make sure everyone is safe!" Iida yelled back.

"Iida, please, you're the only one here that's fast enough to outrun them!" Hitoshi commented.

"Yeah! Emergency Exit! You can do this! We're counting on you!" Sero pitched in.

"Iida! Iida! Iida!" Uraraka and Mina chanted, trying to motivate him.

"Are there really idiots who talk about their plans in front of the enemy?!" Kurogiri's deep voice rang out. Long wisps of his warp quirk shot towards the students and Thirteen.

"We did it because it doesn't really matter if we're found out!" Thirteen's finger unlatched, and the wisps that were coming towards them started to be sucked in by the pro hero's quirk, Black Hole.

"Come on, Iida! It's now or never!" Hitoshi begged. Iida contemplated for a second before putting on a serious face, his engines extending. A sound was heard, like a car engine starting before he suddenly made a dash towards the exit.

______________________________________________

"What do you mean fight?! Are you stupid?!" Mineta screamed at Izuku who was perched on the railing, still examining the water.

"No, but I am crazy as all Hell." Izuku sent a wide smirk towards Mineta, then launched himself from the railing. It looked like he was going to fall right into one of the villains, but he activated One for All and flicked the water, sending large waves where it then started to turn into a whirlpool and suck the villains in. Tsu grabbed a hold of Mineta and followed Izuku's lead.

"For a frog, you have some nice boobs-" Tsu made a point by almost dropping him into the water, in which he hung on tight and screamed in fear. After watching Izuku get launched back up by his quirk, Mineta bit his lip and started to throw some of his balls quickly into the whirlpool. The villains started to not only get stuck on the balls but on each other. Tsu wrapped her tongue around Izuku's waist for the second time and landed in the water near the Central Plaza. Izuku looked over the edge of the slightly higher ground and watched as Aizawa was struggling against Shigaraki.

He turned back towards Tsu whose eyes had widened. Midoriya furrowed his brows and glanced at Mineta who had just groped Tsu. He rolled his eyes as Tsu shoved Mineta underwater, little air bubbles popping up right around her arm that was submerged.

"As-...Tsu- Sensei needs our help-"

"I know, but what can we do? Kero."

"....I have an idea."

3,196 Words.

Hey y'all! It's been a while! So, I'll reintroduce myself. My name is Akashi! Yes, I know it's almost been a year since I've updated, but I genuinely apologize. Either way, now that we're done with the chapter, I'll explain a few things. Yes, there are some exact scenes from the anime, but this whole fic will not be word-for-word. Instead, there will just be little bits of the actual episode.

Also, Izuku's quirk, Deduction, behaves much like Sherlock Holmes' mindset, the BBC version!

...Yes, I snuck a slight Hamilton reference in. Mineta reminds me so much of Charles Lee.

Anyways! That's all for now, but I will try to get back into a normal schedule.

~Akashi
