all of my tutorials will be based on ibispaintx for the most part because i'm more familiarized with it. it's completely free but you will have to watch a few ads. it's worth it tho !

this is an app that i use to erase backgrounds off of models, it is free to use this tool but it will say that it's only free for a limited time. i've been using this for about three years tho !

this app is great for messing around with layering and creating the overall base for manipulated screencaps. you can switch them around, erase and restore them too. i will also be using this for font png's so i can show you text effects. fonts can be downloaded here through dafont.com.

this website is a great free alternative for photoshop. it doesn't have all of the features but it has just enough such as layering and adding psds which would be important for a future chapter. it's also great for beveling and embossing text which i will do a tutorial one soon ! this also works on mobile but it does have a tendency to refresh the page if there are two many projects open.

remini WAS an app that i heavily recommended years ago, the app has changed since then and now does this thing where it lightens skin **which not only ruins the lighting we worked hard on but also whitewashes poc** and softens edges too much. i don't recommend this as it also isn't free anymore. i will show you guys how to make good quality covers but the main key is to use good quality resources which does take time but will be worth it. <3
