The Truth
*I don't own Transformers or anything affiliated with Transformers. I only own my original characters and plots. All rights go to Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg.*
Someone was shaking me in an attempt to wake me up. I just groaned and cuddled into the seat before being shaken again.
"Azalea, wake up. I need to talk to you," I heard Sam say.
I opened my eyes to look at him. We were still in the car and my guess was that we still had a while to go.
"What do you need to talk about?" I inquired.
He sighed. "I want to know how you know the Autobots."
I leaned back in my seat. There was no reason not to tell him now and even though I wasn't supposed to say anything to anyone, Optimus had pretty much revealed the secret on his own. Plus I couldn't necessarily lie about it either.
"My dad. You know him as Major William Lennox," I told him.
He looked at me wide eyed. "How had I not figured that out?"
I shrugged. "You're not very observant."
"So you know all of the Autobots?" he asked.
I nodded. "Yes. Ironhide, Ratchet, Mudflap, Skids, Chromia, Elita One, Arcee, Sideswipe, Jolt, Optimus and now Bumblebee," I told him.
He raised a brow. "But I never told you his name and neither did he."
I rolled my eyes. "Did you not just hear what I told you?"
His eyes brightened in realization. "I'm sorry. I'm just a bit tired," he told me.
"It's okay. But, does it not make you feel better that you're not the only civilian involved in the ever so insane world of the Autobots?" I teased.
He laughed. "Well yeah. I guess. But at least the Decepticons aren't after you," he stated.
I frowned. "They are actually. Well one of them is or at least one of them was and no one knows why. It's been two years since I've had an encounter so I've kind of let it go," I explained to him.
"Oh. Is that how Braelynn died?" he asked.
I nodded. "Which one was after you?"
"Star-scream," the radio sounded.
I gaped at the dashboard. "How did you know?" I asked Bumblebee.
"Autobots talk no matter how far away we are from each other. Ironhide was the one who informed the rest of us about Starscream's strange fondness of you, but this was at least two years ago. I actually know quite a lot about you from him. All he talks about is you aside from addressing certain battle plans of course," Bumblebee said in what I assumed to be his true voice.
"Hm. Well, you're right." He whirred.
"I take it Ironhide is your guardian," Sam laughed. I scratched the back of my head.
"Mate," the radio sounded again.
Sam looked at me with wide eyes and I smiled innocently. "I thought your boyfriend's name was Ron."
"Ron Edih. Spell the last name backwards and you have Ironhide. Well, you sort of do," I told him.
He had a quizzical look on his face. "Wait, let me get this straight. Your boyfriend is a twenty foot tall alien robot from the planet Cybertron?"
I nodded.
"How is that even possible?" he asked.
I shrugged. "At first I didn't know that he wasn't human. He has this holoform that acts and looks just as a human does. That's what I fell in love with. It was only until later that I found out he wasn't human and surprisingly enough I didn't particularly care that we were so different on the outside. It never once changed what I felt for him on the inside and that's what mattered to me the most," I told him.
"Such a genuinely amazing human," Bumblebee spoke.
I laughed. "Why thank you, Bee." He whirred again.
"This is so weird, but for some odd reason I admire it," Sam said.
I smiled. "I appreciate your opinion, Samuel."
He smiled at me. "You know, I'm really glad you ran into me in the hallway yesterday," he said.
I chuckled. "Why?"
"Well, because it's been a long time since I've had a true friend. One that I could talk to about absolutely anything," he answered.
Bee whirred and I laughed. "What about Bumblebee and Mikaela?"
He scoffed. "Bumblebee is my best alien friend and Mikaela is my girlfriend so neither of them count. I've just never met another person that had so much in common with me yet they were so different from me," he answered me.
I smiled. "Yeah. I'm pretty different from you."
"Duh. You think I could've taken down that one guy with just a flick of my wrist? Probably not."
I laughed when I remembered the incident.
"You're lucky I was there. Your smart ass was about to get you into trouble," I told him.
He smirked. "What can I say? Trouble is all I seem to attract nowadays."
I shook my head. "Samuel Witwicky. You are so full of yourself," I chided. He laughed. "What time does our class start again?" I asked.
"I think like twelve o'clock," he told me.
I sighed in relief. I was still so incredibly tired and plus I had to call my mom and Ironhide before they started freaking out. Right now I just really did not feel like dealing with it.
"How much longer until we get back to the school?"
Sam checked his watch before looking back at me. "Half an hour at most."
"Thank God."

I sighed in relief as I got out of the car. It felt so good to finally be back. Now I could finally sleep until like twelve o'clock. It was much needed.
Sam and I said a quick goodbye to Bee before he took off down the road. Apparently he was supposed to meet back up with the Autobots but I didn't ask for many details. I was far more concerned with getting to sleep.
After a few minutes, Sam and I were now inside our building. With my anxiousness to sleep, I quickly said goodbye to him and headed into my dorm room. I stopped dead in my tracks though when I found Lexy rummaging through my drawers. I cleared my throat and she instantly shot up.
"What are you doing going through my stuff at nine o'clock in the morning?" I asked her.
She sighed and stood up. "I wasn't. I lost one of my shirts and I thought that maybe you had accidentally mixed it with your things yesterday when you were unpacking. I was just looking for it."
I frowned. "Oh. Okay. I'm sorry for snapping at you. I'm a little bit tired," I told her.
She smiled at me and sat down in one of the bean bag chairs. I went over to lay down on my bed.
"I'd say. Where have you been all night? I saw you leave the party with that Sam Witwicky boy. Also, I apologize for Alice's manners towards you last night," she said.
I made a face and shook my head. "It's not like that and no offense but I'd really love to bash her head into a brick wall."
She chuckled. "Sometimes I'd like to as well. But enough of Alice. What were you and Sam doing?" she asked me.
I shrugged. "Nothing of what you're thinking. I distinctly remember you meeting my boyfriend, so just remove those thoughts from your mind," I laughed.
"Well, then where did you go that forced you to be out all night?" she inquired.
I made a face. She was rather incessant. "Washington D.C."
She laughed. "Why?"
"I wanted to see the Lincoln Memorial," I lied.
The sound of a beeping noise caught my attention and I turned to see Lexy looking at her watch. She sighed and stood up.
"I've got to get to class now. I hope you enjoyed your trip though," she said with a laugh.
It wasn't long before she was out of the room and I mentally thanked the Lord for this newfound peace and quiet. I let out a loud sigh and threw my shoes to the floor before getting underneath the covers. I set my alarm to twelve and turned the light off. Ironhide and my mom could wait. Right now I was in desparate need of some sleep.
