Parties & Camaros

*I don't own Transformers or anything affiliated with Transformers. I only own my original characters and plots. All rights go to Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg.*

After five hours and forty five minutes of shoving clothes into drawers and throwing shoes into a closet, Sam and I had finally finished settling me into my room. My bed was made up nicely with the silver and black chevron bedding and my side of the room was decorated with dozens of posters and pictures of my family, Braelynn, and I. I was quite pleased with the turnout.

Sam and I were now sitting in two of the bean bags that were in my room. We were both sipping on water while watching TV. Lexy still hadn't returned yet, but that gave Sam and I more bonding time.

"So, tell me about yourself," Sam spoke.

I looked at him. "What would you like to know?"

He thought for a moment before speaking again. "What do you like to do in your free time? What are your family and friends like? Boyfriend? Anything like that," he said.

I laughed. "Well, in my free time I enjoy fighting, running, and shooting guns. My family is pretty laid back and crazy but they're a very busy bunch of people. My parents work a lot and my sister is quite the nuisance. I can't really tell you I have any friends because I don't and yes I do have a boyfriend. I prefer the term mate though," I told him.

"Wow. You're pretty high maintenance. And why don't you have any friends? You seem like the kind of girl that would have like dozens of friends," he said.

I gave him a small smile. "My best friend and only friend was killed two years ago. Right now you're the only friend that I have."

A frown immediately took over his features. "I'm so sorry to bring it up," he said.

"Don't apologize. You didn't know."

He just smiled sadly at me. "What was her name?" he asked me.

"Braelynn Stone. She's the reason I have all of those clothes, so you can thank her for that," I laughed.

He chuckled. "Let's move on to a happier subject. What's your boyfriend's name or in your case your mate's name?" he asked with a laugh.

"Don't bait me. But his name is Ron," I told him.

He may have known about the Autobots, but I couldn't necessarily inform him of my knowledge; at least not yet I couldn't.

"Hm. That's my dad's name."

I chuckled. "It's a pretty basic man name if you ask me."

"I agree one hundred percent. So, where are you from?" he asked.

"Tacoma, Washington. What about yourself?"

"South Gate, California."

"We're quite a ways from home aren't we?" I laughed.

He nodded.

"Now on to you, Samuel Witwicky. Since I already know that your mom and dad are pretty crazy, I'll just jump to the chase. What are your friends like and do you have a girlfriend?" I asked.

He smiled. "You're my only friend and yes I do have a girlfriend."

I smirked. The fact that I could talk to him as if I had known him for years made me so happy. It had been a long time since I had known what having a human friend was like and I loved it so much. He was already like a brother to me and we had only known each other for a few hours.

"Aw. What's her name?"

"Mikaela Banes."

"Got a picture of her?" I asked; I loved being nosey.

He took out his phone and scrolled for a few moments before shoving the phone in my face. On the screen was an image of a very beautiful girl. She had very long dark hair, bright blue eyes and a smile that would make even the prettiest of models feels insecure about themselves.

"She's gorgeous. How did you manage to land her?" I teased.

He scoffed."I happen to be very good with the ladies, Azalea."

I laughed. "You can call me Lea," I instructed him.

"Huh?"

"Call me Lea. That's what everyone else calls me," I told him.

"Oh. Okay, Lea." He winked at me and I laughed. Suddenly, my door burst open and Leo strutted in. I gave him a dirty look and stood up.

"Haven't you ever heard of knocking?" I exclaimed.

"I just came to ask if you two would maybe want to go to a party tonight," he said.

I looked at Sam and he stood up. A party actually did sound nice. It's what I had been looking forward to.

"Yeah. I guess we could go," Sam answered.

"Okay. Be ready in half an hour," Leo told us.

He quickly left the room and I turned back to Sam who had yet to move from his spot.

"Are you not going to get ready?" I asked.

He shrugged. "I don't see the problem with going in what I'm wearing. I think I look rather nice," he chuckled.

I raised a brow and laughed. "If that's what you want to believe, you go ahead."

I laughed and headed to my closet to pick out something to wear to this party. I picked out another grey tank top and grabbed my galaxy printed skirt before heading to the bathroom. Very few rooms on this floor had their own bathroom and shower, so I was lucky in that department. After taking a quick shower, I changed into my clothes and headed back out into the room.

Sam was sitting back down in his bean bag watching TV. Once I made my presence known, he turned to look at me.

"How do I look?" I asked him.

"You look very hipster. I like your skirt," he chuckled.

I pouted. "I don't know how to respond to that."

"I meant nothing bad by it. What shoes are you going to wear though?" he asked me.

I quickly walked over to my closet and grabbed my grey ankle booties before putting them on my feet. "Do these look okay?" I asked as I turned back to Sam.

He stood up and I laughed at the fact that I was now the same height as him.

"Yeah. They look fine. How do you walk in those though?" he asked.

"It's very simple. Maybe I'll show you sometime," I laughed.

He just made a face. "Let's just go before Leo has a fit," he said.

He walked over to the door and opened it before heading across the hall. I followed closely behind him.

"We're ready to go, Leo."

Leo came out of his mancave with Fassbinder and Sharsky on his tail. All three of their eyes were on me and I didn't particularly like that.

"Eyes up boys," I said. They immediately looked away and Sam laughed.

"Let's get going then," Leo said as he walked out of the door with his friends on his tail.

Sam and I followed the three of them out of the building. We walked down the road for about ten minutes before coming to a big frat house. Music was blaring and dozens of lights were flashing. People were outside drinking while others were heading into the house.

"Is it bad that I'm the only girl in a group of five?" I asked out loud.

"No. First frat party is the game. We're hunting in the wild now so get your game faces on. That includes you Azalea," Leo said.

Oh my gosh.

"I don't need to get my game face on. I have a boyfriend," I said.

"Damn it," Fassbinder mumbled.

"And I can't stay long. I have a webcam date with my girlfriend," Sam told them.

"Dude, that is so cool," Fassbinder exclaimed.

Leo growled. "No it's not."

Someone sure was jealous.

Soon we entered the building. There were people everywhere; girls and guys danced on each other, boys walked around drunk, gazing at different girls and multiple girls pretended to be drunk just to land a guy. The sight of it was pretty pathetic if you asked me.

"While he's making out with his Macbook, I'm going to be getting my Spitzy freaky-freak on," Leo chirped as we stopped in front of a table.

I rolled my eyes as he took off to the dancefloor with Fassbinder and Sharsky. Their definition of dancing was amusing to say the least.

"Want some cake?" Sam asked me.

I turned my attention away from Leo's insane dancing to see Sam standing in front of a large cake.

"Sure," I answered.

He went to pick up the cake slicer but just stopped and stared at it. All of a sudden he spazzed out and stuck his finger in the icing before he began drawing strange symbols on the table. I made a face at that but before I could say anything to him, there was a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Lexy standing there with a huge smile on her face.

"Where have you been?" she asked me.

I raised a brow. "I could ask you the same thing. I came back to the room and you were gone," I chuckled.

"Oh yeah. I'm sorry about that. I was with my friend Alice," she told me.

I went to speak but was cut off by a bang. I turned to see that Sam was now sitting in a chair up against the bar with a girl straddling his lap. Nothing about it looked authorized and it made me rather mad. I didn't understand why most college girls were such sluts.

The loud sound of a car alarm startled me and before I knew it two guys were yelling in my ear.

"Hey! Who drove the freaking yellow Camaro? Huh? There's a car on the lawn!" a guy in a white polo shirt called.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sam push the girl off of him before getting up and running outside. I followed behind him to see what the problem was, but when I got outside, the only thing I could see was a yellow Camaro with black racing stripes sitting in the bushes, its lights flashing frantically. The odd thing was that it wasn't there when we arrived.

Sam ran up to the car and leaned into the window, nearly tripping over the bushes.

"What are you doing?" he asked. I raised a brow.

"Houston we have a problem," the car responded.

The only word that came to my mind was Autobot. This must've been Bumblebee.

"Freshman, is that your car in our bushes?" the same guy called. He was now standing right behind me.

"No, this is my friend's. He just went to get you a tighter shirt," Sam answered.

I face palmed. I could already tell I was going to have to beat the brakes off of these boys before the night was over.

"There isn't a tighter shirt. We checked. Now, how about I park my foot in your ass," polo boy's friend retorted.

By now, Leo, Lexy, and some blonde girl had made their way outside.

"What size shoe do you wear?" Sam sassed.

This angered the boy and caused him to move towards Sam. I turned around before he could get far and pushed him backwards.

"Watch yourself," I warned.

He bucked up at me. "And what are you going to do about it, little girl?"

I just sighed and grabbed the boy's arm, flipping him over the side railing and onto the ground below. He groaned in pain.

"Anymore questions?" I chimed.

He shook his head and his friend took a step back. I ran down the stairs and over to Sam who was working on getting inside the car.

"You're seriously going to leave me here?" I frowned.

He gave me a look before gesturing me to get into the car. I quickly walked around to the passenger's side and got in.

"You have a ride? Bro, why are you holding on to this?" Leo mused as he gaped at the car.

"I've only know you for seven hours," Sam said to him as he closed the door.

Suddenly, the blonde girl from the porch was in my window. I gave her a dirty look but she ignored me and focused solely on Sam.

"I love Camaros," she stated.

Sam groaned. "Man, I really can't do this right now," he exclaimed.

"Come on, Sam. Don't be such a whimp." She opened the door and ignored my presence completely as she went to sit down in the passenger's seat where I was currently sitting. To keep from bashing her head into the side of a brick wall, I just quickly jumped to the backseat and sat. The seat belt wrapped tightly around my body as the car sped away from the frat house. This was the only proof that I needed to know that this was Bumblebee.

"My first car was my dad's 92 Z28; fuel injected. The roar of the engine just tickles me," the blonde said as she made a seductive hand gesture up her thigh. I grimaced but was silent.

"We shouldn't stare-I mean share stories with each other at all," Sam said. I rolled my eyes.

"Come on, Sam. It's just one ride," the grungy mutt said.

The radio cut on very abrubtly, Hank Williams' song "Your Cheatin' Heart" playing. I giggled and Sam gave the device one quick smack before it began playing a medley of songs, one which included "Super Freak" by Rick James.

"Don't," Sam exclaimed as he gave the radio one last hit; it hushed this time.

"Is your radio broken?" blondie asked.

"No. My concentration is," Sam told her.

She smiled and leaned her head back into the seat. "We're not cheating; not yet at least," the grunge muffin stated.

I raised an eyebrow. "Being a slut should really be illegal," I countered.

She turned and glared at me. My seat belt tightened once again and then suddenly her seat began shifting erratically. After it stopped, she looked at Sam.

"Is something wrong here?" she asked.

Before he could get an answer out, the seat moved again. This time is sent her head slamming into the dashboard. I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing. The radio started playing "Brick House" and I nearly pissed myself laughing while Sam started freaking out about the entire situation.

"Oh god! You okay?" Sam asked her.

She took a deep breath and sat back. "Ow," she replied. I snickered.

"I really don't know what to tell you. This car just has a lot of problems. A lot of problems," Sam exclaimed.

Suddenly, liquid began spewing from the dashboard and onto the blonde girl in the front seat. Sam yelled and the car spun before coming to a stop. This time I couldn't control my laughter.

"Oh god. It's in my mouth! Are you okay? I've got wet naps. I've got wet naps for your face! Hold on," Sam babbled as he hastily removed himself from the car.

The seat belt released me and I climbed to the front seat and stepped out of the car. Blondie was now very irritated and wasted no time in getting out of the car and walking off towards the building we were sitting in front of. Sam groaned.

"What are you doing?" he said to his Autobot friend.

I laughed and he immediately became aware of my presence. "Talking to your car in public isn't always the wisest thing, Sammy."

He sighed and got back in the car. I walked around to the passenger's side and opened the door. To my surprise, there was no fluid present anywhere from the previous incident. I just smirked and got into the car.

"Self cleaning car, I see?" I spoke. Sam gave me a hard look and before long we were headed down the road and onto the freeway.

"Where are we headed?" I asked Sam.

He shrugged. "Care much for a road trip?" he asked.

I smiled and shook my head.

____________________

After a long three hour ride we finally reached our destination, and to me, this destination was quite strange. We were in Washington D.C. and it was about six in the morning. Not having slept at all, I was pretty tired but I refused to go to sleep.

We drove for about ten more minutes before pulling into a grave yard. My eyes widened at the sight in front of me. The dozens of different sized monuments and trees were barely large enough to shield the twenty seven foot tall mech who was standing in the middle of the cemetery.

"Oh gosh," Sam mumbled as the car came to a stop.

"Optimus," I chirped happily. I hadn't seen him in almost a month and I missed him, as well as I missed the other Autobots. I felt a pair of eyes on me but disregarded it and got out of the car. It didn't take long for Optimus to notice me. He blinked before speaking.

"Azalea. What a pleasant surprise," he said. I smiled, but before I got the chance to respond Sam spoke.

"You won't give me a day. You won't give me one day in college," he retorted as he climbed up the wall and onto the grass.

Optimus gave him an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, Sam. But the last fragment of the AllSpark was stolen," he told the young boy. I raised my eyebrows.

"Stolen? You mean like Decepticon stolen?" Sam asked. My eyes widened and I climbed up the wall and stood beside Sam. Optimus began walking towards us.

"We placed it under human protection at your government's request. But I'm here for your help, Sam, because your leaders believe we brought vengeance upon your planet; perhaps they were right. That is why they must be reminded by another human of the trust we share," Optimus said.

"This isn't my war," Sam responded. I sighed.

"Not yet, but I fear it soon will be. Your world must not share the same fate as Cyberton; whole generations lost," Optimus told him.

I felt a pang of hurt in my chest. I've heard this story far too many times and each time it only made me feel worse.

"I know and I want to help you, I do. But I am not some alien embassador," Sam countered.

"Sam," I warned.

He sighed and continued. "I am a normal kid with normal problems. I am where I'm supposed to be. I'm sorry. I really am," Sam said as he began walking back towards the car.

He jumped down from the wall and stood there. Optimus seemed to be rather upset by his words.

"Sam, fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing."

"You're Optimus Prime. You don't need me," Sam said.

Optimus turned his head. "We do. More than you know," he said softly. I frowned.

"Azalea, come on." I sighed and walked over to the wall. Sam aided me down to the ground and we began walking to the car only for Optimus to speak again.

"Azalea," he called.

I turned to face him. "Yes?"

"Please promise me that you'll stay safe and away from all of this. You mustn't find yourself caught in the middle of this war. Your father and Ironhide would have quite the conniption fit if something were to happen to you," he told me.

I gave him a small smile and nodded. "Of course. I hope to see you soon, Optimus."

He just nodded and I walked back to the car and got in. Soon enough we were off and I was left to ponder in my thoughts.

*Please vote and comment. It'd mean so much to me. I wanna know what you guys think.*
