Moving In

*I don't own Transformers or anything affiliated with Transformers. I only own my original characters and plots. All rights go to Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg.*

Seventeen hours in a small space was very aggravating and I had only managed to stay asleep for eight of those hours. We had managed to cut an entire day off of our trip considering our Autobot companion. Going nearly one hundred and forty miles an hour down the freeway was exceptionally frightening, but after two years you grow used to it.

We had entered New Jersey approximately two hours ago and I was growing more and more anxious. I couldn't wait to finally be in college. I had no clue what it had in store for me but I was more than ready to find out. The only problem with college was the fact that I was going to be away from my family and my mate for months at a time.

My impatience was growing by the minute though. All I wanted to do was get to Princeton and get settled in. Hopefully Hide and my dad would help me so I wouldn't be left to conquer all of my belongings alone; I had way too much stuff.

"Are we there yet?" I asked.

By now I was hopping up and down in my seat, excitement flooding through my body. Suddenly there was a strap being wrapped around my body. I was pulled into the seat and held tightly behind a seat belt which cause a groan to escape my lips.

"You need to calm down. You're irritating my processors," Hide exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes. "Excuse me for being excited about college."

He grunted.

"To answer your question, we have about five minutes until we arrive. Until then would you please shut the hell up," my dad countered.

I laughed but I listened to him. For the past two hours or so I had done nothing but annoy the living hell out of the two of them with my incessant ways. I couldn't help it though. I was excited.

As my dad had told me, five minutes later we pulled onto Princeton's campus and parked. Hundreds of students were either carrying their bags inside the school or they were outside playing some sort of game. I squealed with excitement as I removed my seat belt and hopped out of the truck.

"This place is amazing," I exclaimed and I gazed at the building.

It looked exactly as it had in the pictures. It was incredibly beautiful; the clock tower, the towers, the dorm buildings and everything else about it was absolutely beautiful.

The sound of two doors shutting caused me to turn my attention back to the truck. Hide's lesser form stepped out and my father rounded the front of his alternate mode. I walked to the bed of the truck to begin getting my bags but was stopped by Hide and my dad.

"Go ahead to your room. We'll get the rest of your stuff," Hide told me as I grabbed one of my duffle bags.

I smiled and put the bag over my shoulder before running over and placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Thank you. I'll see you in a little bit," I called as I walked off.

The walk from the yard to my dorm hall took about three minutes but I wasn't complaining at all. The building was absolutely beautfiul. The only thing I wasn't too thrilled about was the fact that my dorm was co-ed. I wasn't surprised either when I had several male eyes on me as I walked into the building.

I rounded the corner, paying close attention to the room number in hopes that I would soon find mine when all of a sudden, there was a body against mine, followed by a loud clank. I jumped back and looked at the boy in front of me.

His skin was slightly tanned. He had curly brown hair on top of his head, bushy eyebrows and hazel colored eyes; he was dressed in a green t-shirt and blue jeans.

I immediately realized that I had knocked his box out of his hands and bent down to pick up the items that had fallen from it. He knelt down shortly after.

"I am so so sorry," I said as I put his stuff back in the box.

"Don't worry about it. It was just an accident. They happen," he told me. I finished putting the last of his belongings into the box and stood up. I handed him the box and smiled before picking up my duffle bag.

"I'm Azalea Lennox," I introduced.

He held out a hand to me and I shook it. "Samuel Witwicky, but you can just call me Sam. Moving in I see?" he asked me.

I nodded. "What room?"

"Three-eleven. You?"

His eyes brightened. "Three-twelve. What a coincidence," he chuckled.

I smiled. "First day of college and I already have a new friend," I stated.

"Well, I better get in here. I guess I'll see you in a little while or so?" he asked.

I nodded. "Yeah. Of course. I'll see you in just a bit," I told him and walked toward my room.

The door was open so I walked in. There was a small brown-haired girl lying down on one of the two beds. The sound of my footsteps caught her attention and she got up and walked over to me with a smile on her face.

She was actually very pretty but I felt a pang of sadness when she reminded me of Braelynn. She had light blue eyes, long dark brown hair, and pale skin.

"Hi, I'm Lexy. You must be Azalea," she greeted me.

I wanted to frown but instead I gave her a small smile and walked over to my side of the room. She reminded me too much of Braelynn and I could already tell from her small greeting that they shared a similar personality. She was just as bubbly as she was.

I sat my bag down on my bed and turned back around. Lexy had a frown on her face as she looked at me. She obviously sensed there was something wrong with me.

"Is something the matter?" she asked me. I opened my mouth to answer her but was cut off by my dad and Ironhide walking through the door. Each of them had a number of bags in their hands and I laughed when my dad nearly fell to the floor.

"Is everything okay, William?" I teased.

He glared at me and threw my bags onto my bed.

"Why must you have so many things?" he inquired.

I laughed again. "I told you to blame Braelynn."

He sighed.

"I didn't know that this dorm had both male and females living in it," Ironhide said, a hint of disapproval in his tone.

Protective Hide.

"I assure you that it's not a big deal. You're all I want," I told him.

He laid my bags down on my bed and walked over to me, placing an arm around my shoulder. I soon became aware of Lexy's presence and turned to her.

"Oh, this is my roommate Lexy. Lexy, this is my dad and my boyfriend Ron," I told her.

She smiled at them and my dad smiled back at her. Ironhide on the other hand held a strange expression on his face as he studied the young girl.

"It's nice to meet you," my dad said. He walked up to her and shook her hand.

"Likewise," she responded.

My dad turned back to me. "We have to get back," he told me.

I frowned and looked at Lexy. "I'll be back in a little bit," I told her.

She nodded and I grabbed Hide's hand. I walked out of the room only to see Sam talking to one of the dorm advisors. He seemed quite troubled.

"Sad face three-twelve. No switching, no trading. Let's turn that frown upside down," the woman said before walking away from him.

"Bad day already?" I baited.

He turned to me and frowned. "You have no idea," he told me.

He walked down the hallway and towards two people. I assumed they were his parents. I just laughed and turned back towards the way I was going, Ironhide's hand tightly entwined with mine and my dad on our tail.

"Since when are you friends with Sam?" my dad asked as we stepped out of the doors and into the bright sun.

I gave him a look. "How do you know his name?"

He chuckled. "We fought with him two years ago in Mission City. Remember when you thought I was dead?"

I rolled my eyes and continued walking. "Yes. But he looks way too young and lanky to be a soldier," I remarked.

"He's not a soldier. He was just simply one of the reasons we came to Earth in the first place. He is Bumblebee's human companion," Hide told me. Bumblebee must've been the one Autobot that I had yet to meet.

"It's such a small world," I stated as I approached Hide's alternate mode.

"Far smaller than you might percieve to believe," Hide said. I leaned against the side of the truck.

"I wish you guys didn't have to leave," I pouted. Ironhide placed a hand on my cheek and I hugged him. "I'm going to miss you," I said to him.

He squeezed me tightly. "I'm going to miss you too, kid. But you know how to reach me," he told me.

I smiled and pulled away. "Of course."

"Another thing, I don't trust your roommate. There's something strange about her. I could sense something slightly off about her but I couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was," he told me.

I sighed. "You're always so overprotective. I'm going to be fine, Hide."

He frowned. "Just be careful. I'm serious," he said.

"I will. Don't worry."

I gave him a kiss, completely oblivious that my dad was watching until he ripped me away from him. I squealed as he yanked me back. There was a disgusted expression on his face and I laughed.

"Do that on your own time, please. And don't do it in front of me," he said.

"At least you know how I felt when you sucked mom's tongue from her mouth," I teased as I ran up to hug him.

He laughed and squeezed me. "I love you, Lea."

"I love you too, daddy." He released me and I turned back to Ironhide. "I love you as well," I told him.

He smiled at me and pulled me in for another hug before placing a gentle kiss on the top of my head.

"I love you, Azalea."

I pulled away from him and looked at him and my dad. "Both of you better stay safe," I demanded them.

My dad flicked my forehead. "Of course, princess."

I smiled at him. "I'll see you both in like four months or so."

They smiled at me. "Don't forget to contact me," Hide told me.

"I will. I promise," I told him.

He kissed my forehead and my dad gave me another hug before the two of them got into the truck. The engine roared to life and I sighed as I watched Ironhide's alternate form exit the campus.

I turned around and suddenly I was being knocked to the ground by middle-aged woman. I let out a squeal as I hit the ground. The woman giggled at me before getting off of me.

"Oops. Sorry," she sang as she got up.

Sam was in front of me in an instant. He held his hand out to me and I took it. After pulling me up from the ground he gave me a small smile.

"I'm so sorry. My mom is just really crazy," he stammered.

I chuckled. "Guess that's what I get for knocking your things down earlier."

A man ran past us yelling for Sam's mom and Sam face-palmed. I turned just in time to see her tackle a boy to the ground. I put a hand up to my mouth. Sam turned around and scratched his head. A girl walked over to him.

"Control your mother," she told him. I gave her a look.

"She's not my mother," Sam shot back, causing me to let out a laugh.

After she walked away, Sam hurried over to his mother who was sprawled out on the ground. I followed quickly behind him. The man who ran past us threw Sam's mom over his shoulder and turned to him.

"Do you have the booties?" the man asked.

Sam was becoming agitated. "Yes, dad. I got the booties," he replied.

His dad began running to the silver Trailblazer across the street and I laughed as he threw the woman into the front seat of the car. Sam gave his parents a quick goodbye before running back over to me.

"I'm sorry you had to see that," he told me.

I laughed. "Was she on drugs?"

He chuckled and we began walking back to our dorm.

"She ate like five weed brownies," he answered.

I let out a loud laugh. "And she didn't know that's what they were?" He shook his head. We soon entered our building.

"My goodness. Parents these days," I exclaimed as the two of us walked to our rooms.

"Hey, want to come and meet my roommates?" he asked me randomly.

I raised a brow. "What are you trying to do?" I asked as he grabbed my arm.

"Don't worry. This is going to be fun. They're real swell guys," he stated.

Somehow I didn't believe he was being sincere. He pulled me into his room and led me all the way to the back where three guys sat at computers, one of them standing up and walking over to us.

"Hey guys. This is Azalea," Sam introduced me. The guy in front of us was staring at me and it made me slightly uncomfortable. He had a nerdy aura about him which caused me to giggle. He had tan skin with curly black hair and dark brown eyes.

"Is that your girlfriend?" the boy asked. I made a face.

"No. She's just a friend. She lives across the hall," Sam told him.

The boys eyes brightened. "Across the hall? Three-eleven?" he asked. I nodded and he smirked.

"So you're Sexy Lexy's new roommate. The name's Leo Spitz and that's Sharsky and Fassbinder. This is our empire. Ever heard of the Real Effing Deal?" he asked me.

I narrowed my eyes at him. I could already tell he was going to get on my nerves. "No, I haven't."

He frowned.

"That sucks," Sharsky said.

I just shrugged. "What is all of this even for?" I asked.

"Look, call me gross but I want to be a baby billionaire."

He immediately whipped out two calendars, both of them with kittens on the front cover. I snorted back a laugh.

"Kitten calendars. It's where I started. You have to have dreams man."

Before I could respond, Fassbinder spoke up. "Leo, we got even more Shanghai videos," he said.

My head immediately shot to his computer screen. There were explosions everywhere and I even noticed Sideswipe and Ironhide in a few frames as well as a fairly large Decepticon.

"Post it, baby! Go!" Leo instructed.

I leaned over Fassbinder's shoulder to watch and he stiffened up, obviously not used to being in such close proximity with a being of the opposite gender.

"Did you see that? This is better than the first one," Sharsky exclaimed.

I jumped as the Decepticon rolled over and destroyed dozens of cars.

"He just crushed them," Fassbinder yelled.

"Half of Shanghai gets blown up and China says it's a gas leak. Don't believe it though," Leo said from behind me.

"They're just like the alien robots in LA two years ago that everybody covered up," Sharsky said.

I made a face and stood back up. "Seriously? It's fake. Anyone would be dumb not to realize that," I told them. Sharsky gave me a look but I ignored him.

"It's not fake man. The internet is pure truth," Fassbinder said.

I rolled my eyes. "It's fake. Anybody could have done it on any computer."

Leo walked up to me and got in my face, a little too close might I add.

"Don't be sucking the sack," he said.

I raised my brows. That did it for me.

"Okay. I'm done here. It was nice meeting you all but it's a little bit too weird in here for my liking," I said.

I turned to walk out of the room and Sam followed behind me.

"Now I can see why you're having such a bad day," I said as I stepped into the hallway.

He laughed. "Do you know what your first class is tomorrow?" he asked me.

"Astronomy. What's yours?"

"We both have the same class," he told me.

I smiled and opened up my room door. Sam stood akwardly in the middle of the hall. I could tell he didn't want to go back into his room and I understood that. I wouldn't want to either. His roommates were crazy.

"Would you like to come inside?" I asked him.

An immediate look of relief flashed on his face and he nodded before running over. I laughed and stepped inside. I was surprised to see that Lexy wasn't in the room but I didn't pay no mind to it. Instead, I walked over to my bed and began unzipping my bags.

"This means that you can help me unpack," I told Sam with a smirk.

He grimaced at the many bags on my bed and I laughed. So far college was pretty nice.

*Please vote and comment. It'd mean so much to me. I wanna know what you guys think.*
