Jetfire

It was a good three hour drive to Washington D.C. Riding with Mikaela and Sam in Bumblebee was rather interesting. Their bantering was amusing at the most; well it was when I was awake. I had been asleep for most of the journey here.

Thankfully Leo and Simmons-as he informed me I should call him-rode here in Mudflap so I could sleep in the back seat of Bumblebee's alternate mode. I could have very easily chosen to go with Mudflap or Skids, but their back seats were way too small and even with these shoes on I wouldn't be very comfortable.

Someone shook me and I opened my eyes to see Mikaela's face in front of me. She smiled at me and I sat up. We were no longer moving. I looked out of the windshield to see that we were parked in front of a large museum; the National Air and Space Museum for that matter.

"We're here," Mikaela chimed. She moved out of the way so I could get out of the car. Outside stood Leo, Sam, and Simmons who had a pair of binoculars in his hands.

"Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Land of dreams in there. All I ever wanted to be was an astronaut," he said.

He placed the binoculars down and headed to Bumblebee's trunk. He took out a small case packed with different weapons and some sort of jumpsuit. Before I knew it, he was ripping off his jeans. I looked away at the sight of the thong encased around his area.

"What is that?" I heard Sam ask.

"I wear them when I'm in a funk. So does Giambi, Jeter; it's a baseball thing," Simmons responded calmly as he put on his jumpsuit.

I shook my head at him and leaned against Bumblebee. Sam and Mikaela came to stand beside me. After zipping up the suit, he proceeded to hand the four of us strange watches, instructing us to put them on. I did as I was told and clipped it on to my wrist. Simmons walked back to the box.

"Okay. Our watches are synchronized; sharp mind and empty bladder. If you get caught, demand an attorney and don't ever say my name."

He grabbed a bottle of pills and tossed them to Sam. "Take one of those pills. Slip it under your tongue. It's the high concentration polymer they put in Oreo cookies. Tricks the polygraph every time."

Sam gave both Mikaela and I a pill before tossing the bottle to Leo. I placed it under my tongue but spit it out almost instantly. Sam looked at me with a raised brow.

"What'd you do that for?" he asked.

I wiped my mouth. "It was nasty."

"Did you expect it to taste like Oreos?" he teased. I rolled my eyes and turned back to Simmons who was fiddling with something inside the box.

"Okay. Now let's get this show on the road," he exclaimed as he held up a live taser.

Leo began freaking out. "Whoa. No. I can't do this, okay? I'm not some alien bounty hunter. I'm not going to do this," he babbled.

Simmons backed him into Skid's alternate mode and I snickered.

"Kid, you compromise this mission and you're dead to me. Now look into my eyes and tighten up that sphincter."

I put a hand over my mouth to keep from laughing. He handed Leo a taser before turning back to us.

"You three go on in. Hide until the museum closes and the see what you can find. Also see if that little Con knows anything else. I have to discuss battle plans with your friend here," Simmons instructed us.

Sam grabbed both Mikaela and I and pulled us towards the museum entrance. We walked down the long corridor that lead into the America by Air exhibit. The museum was getting ready to close so we needed to be quick.

"What exactly are we looking for?" I asked as we walked into the exhibit. There were at least over one hundred planes in this single room.

"I'm almost positive we're supposed to be looking for a giant robot yet we're also supposed to be hiding," Mikaela told me.

I spotted a large white plane over near the entrance and ran over. "Come on," I called.

The two of them followed me over. Mikaela and I climbed up the small ladder leading to the plane's compartment while Sam and the small Decepticon bot hid in the opposite compartment. We waited in silence for about seven minutes until a voice came over the loudspeaker announcing that the museum was now closed.

I sighed in relief, thankful that I no longer had to be stuck inside the small confined space. Mikaela and I climbed down the ladder while Sam jumped from his compartment, a bag in his hands. I must have not been paying attention because Mikaela now had the metal box that carried the small Decepticon.

Simmons came running over to us, a small device in his hand. Mikaela placed the box on the ground and opened it up to reveal the bot while Sam took a small piece of metal from his big with a pair of pliers. I noticed Leo was missing and looked at Simmons.

"Where's Leo at?" I asked him.

He chuckled. "He's outside. He managed to taze himself. He should be back momentarily though," he answered me and ran over to Sam. "There's now five guards. You get your stuff and get out of here."

Sam nodded and the four of us began walking. Sam held the piece of metal up to one row of planes while Simmons held his beeping device to another row. Mikaela and I just watched the two of them. My eyes caught sight of the small Decepticon speeding towards something and I grabbed Sam's arms and pushed him forward.

"Look, look, look. He knows something. Follow him. He knows where he's going," I told him as the small bot drove further.

Sam, Mikaela, and I started running after the small bot who had now stopped in front of an enormous Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. It didn't take long for him to transform.

"You got what I got?" Simmons asked as he came up to us. Sam nodded.

"Ah, there he is. This guy's a legend. He's like Chairman of the Board. Freshman, point the shard and watch the magic happen," the bot instructed him.

Sam went under the security ropes and pointed the the metal towards the plane. It flew towards the plane and hit with a clank. I quickly scrambled over the ropes and underneath the plane as it began shaking. My eyes widened as I spotted the familiar Decepticon insignia.

"Shit! It's a Decepticon," I called to them.

I quickly rushed out from under it, grabbing Sam on my way and pulling him away from the evil bot who was now almost halfway done with his transformation. We hid underneath a plane just as he finished his transformation; I was surprised though to see that Leo had now joined us.

"What kind of hideous mausoleum is this? Answer me! Show yourselves or suffer my infinite wrath," the old bot demanded.

"I don't think he's going to hurt us," Mikaela said as she stood up.

The rest of us stood and slowly followed her, approaching the bot with caution as he dislodged a plane part from its spot on the ceiling. We stepped back as it rolled in front of us.

"What do you little, spinal chord based organisms want? Behold the eternal glory of Jetfire! Prepare for a system's override," he exclaimed as he walked over to the building doors. He was just like an old man. He was precious, yet he was a bit of a hard ass.

"I tell you. This guy did not age well," the small bot said. I snickered.

"How do I get these doors to open? Fire! I said fire!" I laughed as the rockets he shot flew backwards, away from his intended target.

"Oh, bollocks! Damn these worthless parts," he yelled before knocking the doors down with his makeshift cane.

"Wait a second," Sam began running after him. I groaned. I've had enough running for one day.

"Oh. The museum's going to be very angry. We've got to catch that plane," Simmons said as we ran through the field.

Suddenly the Autobots were behind us. We continued running though and soon enough we had caught up to Jetfire. I was in desperate need of some water. This was just awful.

"I'm on a mission," Jetfire claimed as he punched the wing off of a plane.

The boys began yelling at him and he turned around, an annoyed expression on his face.

"What do you want?" Jetfire demanded.

"We just want to talk," Sam called up to him.

He grunted. "I've got no time to talk. I'm on a mission. I'm a mercenary doom bringer. What planet am I on?"

"Earth," I answered.

"Earth? That's a terrible name for a planet. Might as well call it dirt; planet dirt," he bent down to our level. "Tell me. Is that robot civil war still going on? Who's winning?"

"The Decepticons," Sam answered him this time.

He groaned. "Well I change sides to the Autobots."

I narrowed my eyes. "What do you mean you change sides?" I inquired.

His optics shot to mine. "It's a choice. It's an intensely personal decision. So much negativity. Who wants to live a life filled with hate?" he answered.

I raised my eyebrow up, impressed with his answer. The small Decepticon rolled forward.

"You mean you don't have to work for those miserable freaking Decepticons anymore?"

Jetfire gave him a small nod.

"If Decepticons had their way they'd destroy the whole universe."

The small bot rolled over to Mikaela and began to hump her leg. I covered my mouth as I watched it unfold. Were all Cybertronians so perverted?

"I'm changing sides. I'm changing sides for you, warrior goddess. Who's your little Autobot?"

Mikaela giggled. "Aw, you're cute."

"The name's Wheelie. Say my name, say my name."

Sam looked rather puzzled by the current situation. I just laughed. "What are you allowing to happen to your foot just now?"

Mikaela smirked. "At least he's faithful Sam," she retorted.

"Ouch."

Sam shot me a warning look.

"Yeah, well he's faithful, he's nude, and he's perverted. Can you stop?" he exclaimed before going over to knock Wheelie off of Mikaela's leg and onto the ground.

The small bot seemed upset by this and I myself even frowned. Sam rolled his eyes at Mikaela before turning back to Jetfire.

"What were you saying?"

Jetfire leaned down very abruptly and slammed his fist into the ground, knocking the five of us down. "I told you my name is Jetfire! Stop judging me!"

Good gosh.

"I have issues of my own and it started with my mother. My ancestors have been here for centuries. My father, why he was the wheel; the first wheel. Do you know what he transformed into? Nothing! But he did so with honor and dignity!" Jetfire yelled.

I was far too flustered to even know what was going on right now. The only thing I was aware of was that Jetfire was now on the ground. Leo pulled me up with him and we followed the others to Jetfire.

"I think we could help each other. You know things I don't know and I know things you don't know," Sam said to the mech.

"I don't think he knows anything. Honestly," Leo spat. I swatted his chest.

"Someone give me something like a knife," Sam instructed.

Simmons reached into his pocket and took out a pocketknife before handing it to Sam. Sam took it from him and began drawing all of the symbols into the ground as Jetfire just stood there and watched.

"I've been doing this all day. It comes in waves. These vivid symbols. They're symbols, but they're in my mind and Megatron wants what's in my mind; him and someone called The Fallen," Sam said as he tossed the knife into the ground.

"The Fallen? I know him. He left me here to rust. He's the original Decepticon. He's terrible to work for. It's always apocalypse, chaos, crisis. And those scriptions. It was part of my mission. I remember now. The Dagger's Tip and the key," he spoke, much too fast for my liking.

"Wait. Can you slow down just a bit? The Dagger's Tip, the key; what are you talking about?" I asked.

We were all crowded together with Jetfire crouched over us.

"There's no time to explain. Hold on everybody! Be still or you die," Jetfire explained.

A blue aura surrounded us, light sparked and the next thing I knew I was seeing white.
