In which an outcasted Slytherin pureblood learns time love from the neglected Gryffindor sidekick.

SUMMARY

Genevieve Arya Selwyn had always been surrounded by darkness. Raised a certain way, she was told that she would have to maintain the family's reputation among other pure bloods. She was supposed to keep friendships with strictly other pureblood families, and not stray from the Slytherin house that she was sorted into during her first year.

Going into her fourth year, Genevieve didn't expect anything to change. She would be a miserable puppet for her family, do whatever they desired at Hogwarts, and pushing their agenda that they wanted. She would be a silent background character in what would normally be a year of Malfoy instigating Harry Potter, another person who supported the pure blood lineage and everything that it represented for her family.

But when the Dark Mark unexpectedly shows up at the Quidditch World Cup, and her parents don't answer the call to their former leader Voldemort, Genevieve quickly finds herself on the outside of the Slytherin house. Teased and made fun of for the mistakes of her parents and family members, Genevieve wasn't sure what to do. She had been thrust from the background into the spotlight, with no one to run to or no one to turn to.

She was an outcast.

But luckily enough for her, a Gryffindor boy who's tired of being the sidekick to a glorious story and path his friend is heading down runs into her that year.

Ron Weasley, the living representation of what her parents used to call a disappointment to the pure blood name. His reckless family and unorthodox ways were something that Genevieve was told to avoid when she was younger.

Yet, in her time of being outcasted, he's the first person to see who she truly was. Ron Weasley would bring Genevieve out of the darkness that she had been dragged into by her family.

And he would be her ray of sunshine that burst through the darkness.

I love all of them and they've brought me to the point of jumping back into the realm of Harry Potter. I'm nervous but excited to see how this is going to go.
