"You got that for me?" Hannah asked after a few seconds of silence. "It didn't go as I had originally planned for it to, but yes. Yes I did. I'd do anything for you, Hannah." Donnie said with a warm, proud smile. "Wait. So, you didn't know Bryce had basically kidnapped me until you barged into his house?" Hannah asked him. "No. Originally, my plan was to confront him and get him to admit to what he did while secretly being recorded." Donnie explained. "Aww. It's so adorable how you'd do that for your girlfriend." Kat exclaimed excitedly. "Actually..." Donnie started after getting over the slight blush that appeared over his cheeks. "You mean you haven't even asked yet?" Kat questioned. "If I say no, are you going to kill me?" Donnie questioned, slightly joking. Hannah chuckled a little, detecting the slight fear that seeped through the boy's voice. Kat sighed to herself. "No, I suppose not...since you already got yourself injured." Kat said, smirking at the end. "By the way, what is it with girls always thinking I'm adorable in some way?" Donnie questioned, remembering how Kat used Hannah's normal word to describe him. "You just have that "adorable" sort of quality to you." Kat said with a shrug. "Can't and won't argue with that. Sorry, Helmet." Hannah said with a shrug after seeing Donnie look to her. "That nickname doesn't help your case either, Ice Boy." Kat said with a smile. "What made you think of it anyway? The helmet he always wears whenever he rides his bike?" Kat asked her best friend. "It started out that way, yes." Hannah said, smiling at Donnie as she spoke. "But that's not the reason behind it anymore?" Kat asked. "No. It's because Donnie truely acts like a helmet with how he always wants to protect me and keep me safe." Hannah confessed, making the boy smile and blush tremendously. Kat smiled at the two. "Justin calls him Blizzard. For the same reason you call him Ice Boy." Hannah added. "Yeah. And he's very defensive about being the only one to call me Blizzard." Donnie said with a chuckle. "So, who all is in your little friend group these days?" Kat asked. "There's Justin, Jessica, Alex, Zach, Sherri, Jeff, Skye, and Tony." Hannah listed. "You're friends with Skye Miller?" Kat asked, sounding slightly surprised. "Yeah. The two of us started talking at Monet's one day and it turned out we had a few common interests. So we started hanging out regularly, and here we are now." Hannah explained, Kat nodding her head with a small smile in response. "Do they know about what happened?" Kat asked, referring to what Bryce did the night prior.  "They don't yet. I was thinking that we should at least tell Jessica about his confession though. I mean, Bryce did confess to what he did to her too, so she should at least know about it." Donnie said. The two girls nodded in agreement with his reasoning.

After spending some time to catch up with Kat, Donnie and Hannah both decided to talk to Jessica, asking her to meet them at the park alone. Donnie sat on one of the two vacant swings with Hannah sitting in his lap as she leaned into his chest. "Hey, guys. What is it you wanted to talk to me about? And what happened to your face?" Jessica greeted as she walked over, taking a seat in the empty swing next to the pair as she sat down and noticed the boy's bruised and decorated-with-cuts face. Donnie glanced down to the girl in his lap before speaking. "I got him to confess." Donnie simply stated, knowing that his friend would instantly know who he was talking about. "You what? How? And is that where you got those bruises, cuts, and the black eye?" Jessica asked after getting over her initial shock. Donnie sighed. "Yeah. Bryce beat me up a bit when I acussed him. I went over to his house, planning to confront him about it until I got him to admit it. That still happened, but not how I had planned it to." Donnie said. "Not how you planned it to?" Jessica asked curiously, leading Hannah to sit up a little in Donnie's lap as she sighed to herself. "Something else happened too." Hannah said. "What else happened?" Jessica asked.

"Hannah, I'm so sorry that he did that to you." Jessica said sympathetically after the girl had told her friend what had happened before Donnie showed up to the senior's house. "Bryce is a jerk who needs to be put in his place." Jessica added. "If that place is prison, then I completely agree." Donnie said, lightly nodding his head. Hannah thought for a few seconds. "You guys are right. But what should we do?" She asked. "If I were you, I'd go to court with it. I mean, it might be more possible with the confession I got from him." Donnie said thoughtfully. "That could make it his own word plus you two against him." Donnie added, making the two girls smile slightly. "Plus, I could testify against him sence I was a witness to the more recent event. And I know of someone who's a really great lawyer by day and a secret agent by night." Donnie said, making the two girls smile even more as they let out a small laugh. "You'd testify against him for us?" Hannah asked with a small smile as she looked to the boy. "Of course I would. Maybe I could even back up the main thing too, since you told me about it in detail, and I trust you 110 percent. Plus, who would even be able to lie about something like that?" Donnie said, not looking away from the girl sitting on his lap as he stared right into her eyes as he spoke and meant every word. "You two are honestly so cute together." Jessica stated as she observed her two friends. "I'm suprised you two aren't a couple, honestly." Jessica added. "Actually, that does remind me. I mean, we already know how we feel about each other, and we've kissed once or twice. Ms. Baker, will you go on an official date with me and be my girlfriend?" Donnie asked, taking the opportunity to finally ask her out. Hannah smiled a bright smile after hearing everything Donnie just said, while Jessica smiled brightly to herself as she watched the scene in front of her. "I thought you'd never ask, Mr. Gill. I'd love to go on a date with you, and I'd be honored to be your girlfriend." Hannah said before closing the space betweem them, feeling her friend - now official boyfriend - smile into the kiss as he instantly returned it, wrapping his arms securely around her waist as he pulled her closer to him, eliciting a laugh from his girlfriend as the two broke away from the kiss.
