EMMA'S POV

"Well you called me a freak remember,this freak ain't doing nothing" I muttered  under my breath

" I'm sorry,I was just really scared " she shoved me, I gave her a smile assuring her I'd let it go

"WHAT PART OF SHUT UP DONT YOU UNDERSTAND" the guard barked

"I NEED YOU TO MOVE NOW BUT SLOWLY OR ILL SHOOT" he said the words like we didn't understand English

He motioned with he's gun for us to go left

I went down the passage with Debbie by my side my heart was beating out of proportion now

I tried thinking of a way to get rid of the guard but he was far from my reach making it impossible for me to reach him before he zaps me

Debbie looked at me and seemed to understand what went on in my head because she faked a fall to the ground pretending to have a bad leg

I waited for the guard to try and pick her up so I could make my move what ever it was I had in mind

But he didn't budge just stood there pointing the gun at us

" That's like the oldest trick in the book of tricks, now get up slowly or your mom here would get hurt" he said getting agitated now

"MOM? " I retorted

He gestured for me to pick her up with the gun in his hand

"Hey you over there don't move, " he yelled pointing the gun ahead of me

" I need back up right now " he spoke to the device in he's hand

I turned to see Zack just before he hid behind a wall

I used this as an opportunity and lunged myself towards him I   kicked the gun off he's hand it fell to the floor he tried punching me I ducked

What kind of D_ck punches a lady

I thought to myself as I hit him on the belly with my left knee

He groaned like he was about to puke, he probably just ate

My karate lessons where paying off at the moment even though I quit a long time now

But he wasn't going to go down easy, he grabbed me by the waist and lifted me up

Slammed me against the wall my back surged with pain

I hit his back with an elbow which didn't do much damage

He went backwards charged to slam me  again but I wasn't going to let him do that this time

Adrenaline surging through my veins I wrapped my right arm round he's neck ready for the impact on the wall

Once he ran forward calculating the time it would take to hit the wall I pulled he's head to the left direction, it was like turning the wheels of a car just a little effort and he's head went straight to the wall

He staggered struggling to hold himself from collapsing

I freed myself shutting my  eyes trying to draw what little strength I had left

BANG!

I snapped my eyes open and there the guard was lying flat on the floor out cold

Zack stood over him fist clenched tightly

"Are you ok ! That was some real bad ass move back there " he said with concern in he's face

I nodded my head and smelled back, he came over and did a quick check on me like he wanted to be sure I hadn't hurt myself

That was so sweet of him even after being locked up here and tortured he still cared about others

I felt a tingle in my stomach, our eyes met he's eyes twinkled causing my breathing to increase

I drowned my gaze on he's lips, he's lower lips was full and pink and most interestingly wet

I could feel desire rushing through me to kiss those lips just a taste I never got the chance to do that

He lifted up my chin towards he's gaze and gave me a warm smile

He wrapped he strong arms around me and whatever I felt during those few seconds of hugging isn't something we should probably be experiencing at that moment

"Hello! apart from the fact that its really gross watching you and the alien make out, you do know there probably is a dozen guards on their way" Zack and I flinched at the sound of her voice

For a second there I'd forgotten she was even there ,that makes it the second time I seem to be Carried away by Zac's presence

" Firstly he's Zack the guy I told you I'd recognized on Newton's computer.. and secondly where the hell where you while the guard was trying to I don't know KILL ME" I said with my arms folded

" Well I was waiting for you to use your ehm super powers on him you know the ice thing" she said

" I tried it didn't work, I don't think I understand how it works yet" I lied knowing very well I didn't use it for fear of freezing him to death

I was still shaken by the first accident I didn't mean to turn him into ice, didn't even know what was happening to me

I couldn't tell her too about it I didn't know how she'd take it not like I'd care

"We got to go babe I hear footsteps ,lots of them coming down the left side" Zack said taking my hand

"Which way did you come in maybe we could outrun them and get out just in time" he said

"No way, not until we get what we came here for" Debbie protested

"Sorry Zack but we have to get to the bio lab , there's something we need to get that could save my cousin" I said placing my hand on he's shoulder

He held my other hand and looked at me intensely sending waves of heat through my chest

"Ok, I'm coming with " he said in a soft voice. I wrapped my hands round he's neck saw Debbie roll her eyes

I released him my face flushed

We went forward to the right towards the larger room, where we found the lab earlier

Zack was in front taking the lead I was behind  while Debbie followed

The footsteps of the quards became louder and I thought they might have found their buddy taking a nap

We hurried past rows of rooms separated with a transparent curtains

Each room had a sick bed in it with computers and some hospital equipments

We found ourselves in a new passage we moved quickly

"THERE THEY ARE!" A guard shouted pointing towards us

We dashed away trying the doors on the left and right to know hoping one would open

We were running out if luck, the guards behind us were gaining in on us I counted 5

We were running into a dead end

"Ahhh! Emma !" Debbie's scream  brought me to a stop I turned and saw she was struggling out of a guards arm

She jerked her body madly,trying to free her self

I ran towards Zack behind, the other guards rushed towards us with sticks in their hands

The guard holding Debbie seeing us approach decided to face us instead, he threw Debbie to the side of the wall like she was a doll

I winced knowing that the impact would hurt like seriously

But it never happened, Debbie didn't hit the wall

I mean she went through the wall.....

😱 So Debbie just went through a solid wall, that part got me, Isaac didn't share that scene with me

and Emma seem to have some hidden feelings for zack, and I thought she had a heart of stone😁
