 A small knock came from the door, and it slowly creaked open to Doc holding a bag of food. Doc frowned at us, " Are you two alright?" he questioned as he put the food onto the small table. Void stood up as Doc closed the door, " We saw a police car outside." he told the creeper.

 Doc's tail twitched, " That was the police chief and one of our nurses. It seems like they had a run in with the mafia as well as Mighty." he frowned. Doc looked behind him; his whole body tensed up as he clenched his fists.

 Void and I looked at each other, " Do you need some time alone?" I questioned as Doc shook his head. Doc looked at his hand, " No, I've come to tell you that Mighty had a broken arm and damaged ribs.... and your food, as promised." he told us as he pointed at the bag.

 " I, as promised, will keep your secret.... For right now, get some rest... I don't want Mr. Foil to get suspicious." he muttered. Doc reopened the door and left us in our room. Void closed the door and looked at me. 

 I frowned, " What happened to that nurse?" I questioned aloud as Void looked through the bag. Void put the food into the tiny fridge that was nearby. He looked at me, " Based on the way they were wrapped up, I'd say that those mafians tried to drown him. " his voice was slow and filled with malice as his red eyes glowed.

 The darkness and malice that filled my brother's voice. I knew he was evil before, but he never did that.... Did he?

 Void shook his head, " I've experienced that feeling once...." he whispered as his eyes grew heavy. The hermit sat down and took his shoes off. I leaned forward, " When did you experience that?" I cautiously asked with a frown. Void looked at me tiredly, " When that....thing... still possessed by body. That dark force...." he told me as he scratched at his beard. 

 " I got drowned in a pool of lava." Void mumbled as he laid down in his bed. I looked at him with my mouth slightly open, " H-how are you still alive then?" I questioned as I forced my mouth shut. Void sighed, " My armor is... was.... lava proof. I can't really confirm it now because this world forced us into different clothes." he frowned. 

 Void lad down on his bed, " I ah.... I think we should get some rest... Based on how dark the sky is, we were dropped into the world during the night." he pointed out with a yawn. I watched as Void pulled a blanket over himself and curl up in his bed. 

 I got up and turned off the lights to the room. The darkness surrounded me as I sighed. I don't want to idly sit by and hope that Mumbo and Iskall can get all of us home. Void and I need to find a way back somehow... This world is slightly modern, so we could be able to scavenge for some materials... If we still can access our inventories, we could be able to use redstone and hook something up. 

 I curled up under my blanket and fell asleep.

 I sat up in bed and yawned. Void was eating an apple and mumbling to himself. When he noticed me, he finished his apple and tossed it into the nearby can. My brother frowned at me, " Did you hear any of that?" he questioned as I shook my head. 

 Void let out a sigh of relief as he passed me an apple. I took the grey fruit and carefully started to eat it, " Despite its dull colors, it tastes exactly like a normal apple." I gasped as I looked down at the apple. Void nodded, " I believe that the apples are golden.... We obviously can't tell." Void shrugged his shoulders. I continued to eat my apple until a knock came from the door. 

 We both briefly tensed up as a knock came from the door and it opened to Ren instead of Doc. The man's tail twitched, " Doc is busy taking care of Joe because Chief Foil had to run the station." he told us. 

 " Are Joe and Mighty okay?" I asked as Ren looked at me. The dog hybrid looked behind him as he closed the door. He let out a sigh as he mumbled something under his breath before focusing on us. Ren grabbed a hold of his tail, " Listen, I shouldn't even be talking to you because of Aqua not trusting you guys...." he frowned, " The thing is that Doc trusts you two, and I love Doc from the bottom of my heart." 

 Ren let out a shaky breath, " I'll.... I'll tell you two this.... Joe has damaged ribs and a greensticked arm. He's going to wake up soon though... Stress got him fixed up." his ears went down. Void stood up, " What about Mighty?" I questioned with a tilt of my head. 

 The hybrid crossed his arms, " Well, Mighty is conscious now. She refuses to talk to anyone and just stares at the wall. I could say that you two could visit her, but Aqua and Doc would both be so mad at me." he whimpered as his ears went back. 

 I frowned, " Could you maybe tell her that we hope that she's okay?" I asked him as he nodded. Ren's tail wagged slightly, " I can do that!" he smiled. Ren that us that Doc would be by later in the day for one of his chats. The two of us nodded as he left and closed the door with his tail.
