Chapter 6:

Guess who's back motherfuckers:)

Thursday came a lot faster than Jungkook had anticipated. He still didn't get why Jimin really wanted him to join him, Namjoon had already gotten back home from Australia a few days prior. Jungkook did want to ask Jimin why he was going instead of their parents, but Jungkook had then remembered that Jimin's parents were on an anniversary trip the same week.

Jungkook's soulmate had been writing to him throughout the week, which had given Jungkook a warm feeling in his chest. But, he was still sour that he had to wait so long, just to even get a word from them. It annoyed him. So he decided to be a little asshat and use forever to respond- the other usually would write to him while Jungkook was at work so he didn't really have time to respond- and when he did, it would be short answers.

Yes, Jungkook was being petty, but he didn't give any flying fucks about that.

"Yo Jungkook~" Jimin's voice came from the hallway "Are you ready? We really need to leave, and you've been inside the bathroom for over 30 minutes now."

Jungkook sighed and did one last brush through his hair, he did love being around children. But not teens. Teens gave him a spook. Before he went out of the bathroom to meet up with Jimin, he made finger guns at his reflection and clicked his tongue, as if saying 'looking good handsome'.

"You use more time than my sister," Jimin sid and grabbed his car keys, "We're legit going to be late and my sister is not happy with that fact."

Jungkook shrugged and put on his shoes. He was mentally preparing himself to be scolded by an 11-year-old, Jimin's little sister didn't hold back with her opinions. A shudder went through his body as he remembered the time she said he looked like a witch on every type of drug the time he was 5 minutes late because he was doing his hair. Now that Jungkook thought about it, Jimin was very much like his sister. Not being scared to tell their mind.

"So what exactly am I joining in on?" Jungkook asked once they had exited his apartment and he had locked the door.

"Eh, it's nothing big," Jimin answered, "It's just something for parents. But as mine are not home I'm being the good brother I am by stepping in for them. So be ready to get hit with questions such as are you two a couple? Awe teen dad? It must've been hard and so on."

"Oof," Was all Jungkook said. They exited the apartment building and made their way towards the red Honda Jimin owned, in the front seat Jungkook could see a girl with her hair neat bun with a red bow.

Jimin's sister, Park Chaerin, had her head out from the car window. She was chewing on a piece of gum and she smiled the second she noticed them coming towards the car

"Wow, thought I'd be waiting for yet another hour," Chaerin giggled, she jumped from the front seat to the back seat as the front was Jungkook's assigned seat.

"Blame Kook over here," Jimin said as he got into the driver's seat, he smiled at Jungkook as he put the keys in and started up the car.

"Dammit Jungkook, now we're late!"

"Chaerin language!"

"Korean."

"Yoongi," Jeongin quickly grabbed onto the older's hand, "Can we go back home... I don't feel like being here anymore."

As much as Yoongi too would have liked that, he didn't want to meet an angry Sunmi because he ditched this very important day of getting to know the parents of the kids in Jeongin's class. It was also an excuse so she could have the house for herself and have a spa and relaxation day. How envious he was of her.

Yoongi felt a tug on his arm so he looked down, Jeongin's face held a mixture of discomfort and it practically screamed 'Get me the fuck out of here'.

"It's just for three hours. You'll survive buddy," Yoongi said and patted his head, they were still standing outside of the school and some parents were giving him odd looks as they had never seen him before and that he looked rather young to have a 12-year-old kid with him, "Come on let's go."

Jeongin whined as he was dragged into the school building against his will, the older was almost embarrassed by this behaviour but he kept in his poker face and strolled inside like he owned the place. Parents spun around to glance on him, some of the women started chatting between each other and some of the men just gave him a curt nod.

"Excuse me, sir," A female voice from Yoongi's side made her presence clear so he turned to her, "Hello, I am Miss Kim Hyuna, Jeongin's homeroom teacher. Are you his dad...?"

"Oh, ehm," Yoongi cleared his throat, "Eh no... I'm just one of his guardians whilst his parents are away on... business... trips. Yes, business trips"

Hyuna raised an eyebrow, "Oh okay, what's your name then?"

"Min... Yoongi," He said, and no, he didn't almost forget his name there. He just forgot how to properly speak to strangers, as he isn't that used to that because he runs away from everything that has with communication - hence his delayed soulmate response- and talking to a teacher was just something really big for him, as this person was somewhat important.

"Well mister Yoongi, I hope you'll enjoy your stay here," Hyuna said with a smile and stalked off to talk to some other parents.

"You know what Jeongin?" Yoongi began.

"What?"

"I'm taking up on your offer to just go do something else," Yoongi said and turned around, he heard Jeongin let out a quiet whoop and he had to look down to stare because that kid was adorable as heck. But since his attention was focused on the kid, he didn't practically see where he was going, which ended up with him walking right into someone's chest. He made an off sound and quickly jumped away, rubbing his nose.

"Yoongi you have to focus on where you're going," Jeongin giggled, finding amusement in Yoongi's mistake and embarrassment.

He shushed him and looked up at the male that was rubbing his chin, Yoongi immediately recognized him as the kid at the vet where he had found Yuna and the guy, he ran into a couple of weeks ago. Feeling some kind of cockiness take over he leaned on one of the lockers.

"Seems like fate brought us together again, eh?" Yoongi said whilst a smirk played on his lips.

"What are you- oh," The guy's face expression changed from a puzzled look to a neutral one, "You're that guy that almost ran into me and the one who picked up that little girl."

"Eyyy that's me," Yoongi grimaced internally as to how bad this all sounded, "Apologies for the first one."

The guy only shook his head, "No it's okay, partly my fault for not looking where I was going. No need to take all the blame. But, how is she?"

"Yuna?" Yoongi tilted his and put two fingers on his chin in a thinking manner, "She's doing well. Haven't done any more of those tantrum runaways."

"How does he know about Yuna?" Jeongin said, which reminded Yoongi about his existence. He had almost forgotten about the boy beside him.

Before Yoongi could answer, the guy had crouched down to eye level with Jeongin, "Is she your sister?"

Jeongin shrugged "You could say that."

"Well you sister ran away and just so happened to stumble into the vet I work at, your... guardian- I don't know what to call you- came and picked her up. I talked to her for some time, she really likes dogs. Tell her she can always come around and that Jungkook sends that message. She'll know," The guy, now named Jungkook, winked playfully.

"Kook where did ya go!?"

"That's my cue to leave," Jungkook said and stood up straight, he looked at Yoongi, "Nice chat, hope I'll see you around?"

"Yeah, definitely," Yoongi answered without breaking eye contact. Just something about this Jungkook guy set his soul ablaze and he wanted to know more about him.

"See you then..."

"Yoongi."

"See you then Yoongi," and with that Jungkook walked away.

Yoongi stood there in silence, just kinda softly smiling. Jungkook was cute, he'll admit that, but the second that thought crossed his mind, he got other thoughts like am I cheating on my soulmate? What if he has already found his? Oh no I feel bad now, I've been neglecting my other piece and here I am thirsting over strangers- well technically I just called him cute-

Yoongi's inner turmoil was cut off as Jeongin, in a very annoying high pitched voice said, "You liiiiiiiikeeee him!"

"Shut up child," Yoongi mumbled and started walking, blocking out the laughter from Jeongin as he sped up his pace.
