After a few more days, the games finally we're ready to begin.
All 24 tributes stood on their platforms, knowing who to follow to never get separated. Suddenly the gong sounded, and everyone took off.
Violet got a small pack with some rope and food, and ran off.
Hannah and Zoey both got a pack filled with snacks, and a few survival things.
Tucker got a bow and a couple arrows.
Serena got a spear, and some throwing knives.
Val and Riley got a bit of food and a slingshot.
Everyone ran off, some people already getting killed. Four booms sounded, without many knowing who had died, nor who were now murderers.

-Haleigh's POV-
I ran in front of the group, reaching for my wand. All the witches and wizards got to bring them, luckily for us. I kept running for a while, before looking back, and seeing my group. Good. I'm glad we stayed together.
"Okay," I said, once I had my breath, "What all do we have?"
Everyone stared back at me, dumbfounded, and I face palmed.
"Nothing? Well, we can't go back... Let's look for some food."
We all start looking around, and I silently pray that nothing is poisonous.

-Silas's POV-
I nearly dropped my wand. A life, gone, because of me.
I look down at the young girls face, before hearing Addison behind me. She knows how hard it is to kill, she knows what it does to me. I'm glad she has my back.
I take one last glance, before running off to meet up with Miranda. Hopefully I won't have to kill anymore.

-Sarah's POV-

No, I didn't get anything. But I did see Violet got something, and I'm glad. I really trust her, and she is the only one. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm glad I am in an alliance. But honestly I would rather be with her.
My thoughts are cut short as Faith grabs my arm, half dragging me into the woods where Tucker waits with a bow. We all take off, hoping not to meet anyone.

-Violets POV-

Am I happy I killed someone? No. But I'm thankful to be one step closer to winning. I quickly got a small pack and ran off, thankful nobody knew how she died. Mostly, thankful that nobody knows what I can do.

-Zoey's POV-

OKAY OKAY OKAY I GOT SOME STUFF NOW COME ON PEOPLE MOVE I'M TOO FABULOUS TO DIE!!
I start running after Dylan, who had a small pack too. I grinned at the thought. I knew what was in that pack. The best weapon in the arena. Also edible. Though, don't drink the "Juice"...

MWAHAHAHA!!

-Serena's POV-

Grabbing a spear, and a few knives, I took off after Johnothan. I'm glad we have some weapons, though I'm hoping they have some animals in here. That's good eating, and something I WON'T be late for!

-Riley's POV-
I hear a deadly scream, and automatically look for Kaitlin. I see her lying on the ground, and Hugo taking off away from her body. Her eyes are wide in terror, but I knew there was nothing I could do. Tear streamed down my face as I gently closed her eyes. A tear dripped under her eye, and I wiped it away, knowing it would be my last memory of her.
