( THAT OLD FEELING )
SHIPYARD BUILDING
[ ☾]
Dean and Benny enter. Dean looks around with a flashlight. Someone crosses the room behind him and he turns, but sees no one. He goes to investigate and Desmond drops lightly to the ground behind him.
Desmond advances on Dean, who turns and swings with his machete. He sends Dean flying to the ground, then straddles him. Desmond speaks with his fangs descended. "Benny never told me he was bringing a friend." He says.
"You're not gonna talk a lot, are you?" Dean reaches for his syringe of dead man's blood. "I've been dealing with crazy... all day." He tries to jab Desmond with the syringe, but he catches his hand and squeezes it, breaking the syringe. Dean groans.
Desmond forces Dean's hand down and slashes at his neck with a fingernail, cutting him. He licks Dean's blood from his fingers, then snarls and lunges at his neck. Benny pulls Desmond upright and decapitates him. Desmond's head falls from his body and lands next to Dean's head.
"Son of a... It took you long enough." Dean says.
"You've lost a step, friend." Benny gives Dean his hand to pull him to his feet. "You need to lay off the junk food."
Dean touches the cut on his neck and winces. "Aah!" He exclaims. We hear his heartbeat as Benny looks at the cut. His eyes narrow and his lips twitch. "You okay?" Benny raises his eyes to Dean's.
"I'm fine." Benny turns and slowly walks away.
SHIPYARD
[ ☾]
Dean, who is holding a cloth to his neck, walks over to Benny. "My life here is over, isn't it?" Benny asks.
"Afraid so. Once word gets out... The machete swingers that'll come for you..." Dean says. "You can't take them all. It's impossible. And even if you could..."
"We'd have a problem."
"Guys like us, we don't get a home. We don't get family." Dean says.
"You got Sam."
Dean pauses. "Yeah. Benny, you got to go deep underground, where nobody knows who you are." He says.
"Yeah. I got one last thing I got to do." Benny walks away.
MARTIN'S VEHICLE
[ ☾]
Sam is driving. He makes a call to Amelia on his cell phone.
"The person you are trying to reach is unavailable."
Sam scowls, hangs up and tosses the phone down. Elena looks at him worriedly.
FLASHBACK
SAM AND AMELIA'S HOUSE
[ ☼ ]
Sam is packing a bag in the bedroom. Amelia appears in the doorway. "What are you doing?" She asks.
"I'm, uh..." Sam clears his throat. "...I'm leaving."
"What?" She asks and Sam sighs. "Don found you at the bar."
"Amelia –" Sam starts.
"He threatened you."
"Amelia, no. He didn't threaten me." Sam says. "I – Look, I'm just trying to do the right thing here."
"The right thing? This morning, you and I were the right thing, remember?" Amelia asks.
Sam sighs. "I know that you and Don deserve a chance, okay? And... I think you know that, too. Just give him a chance – like you gave me." He sighs. "I mean... Amelia, you saved me."
END FLASHBACK
GUIDRY'S CAJUN CAFE
[ ☾]
Benny smiles as he watches Elizabeth, who is working inside. Dean stands next to him. "Time to go, buddy." Dean says.
Benny holds out his hand and Dean takes it. "Thanks for not giving up on me, brother." He says.
"Don't give me a reason to." Dean says as Benny claps Dean on the back and gets into his vehicle. Dean raises a hand in farewell as Benny drives away.
ROAD
[ ☾]
Martin walks down the road. His phone rings and he answers it. "Hey, Dean." He says. The scene alternates between Martin walking down the road and Dean in the Impala.
"Where is she?" Dean asks.
"Don't get your underwear in a bunch." Martin says. "She's with Sam. Ran off to God know where."
"I'm just to let you know that the situation is resolved. Benny was not lying. There was another vamp, and we ganked him – together." Dean says.
"Oh. That's good, Dean." Martin says.
"Yeah, shut up and listen to me. Benny's long gone, and he won't be coming back, ever." Dean says. "So for your own sake, do not follow him. Are we clear?"
"You don't have to worry about me, Dean. I'm long gone, too."
"Oh, and, Martin?" Dean asks.
"Yeah?" Asks Martin.
"Find a new line of work." Dean and Martin hang up.
Meanwhile, Benny's vehicle drives down the road. A phone rings. He flips the phone open and the display reads "Elizabeth calling..." He answers. "Hey, Liz." He says.
GUIDRY'S CAJUN CAFE
[ ☾]
Elizabeth sets some plates down on a shelf. Martin is in a booth, eating with a phone to his ear.
"How's your shift going?" Benny asks. Martin turns to look at Elizabeth.
"Mm. I'd say she's covering for you just fine... Benny." Martin says. "But us regulars – we miss you."
"Who is this?" Benny asks.
We see a close-up of the last bites of the pie Martin is eating. "I think you know who this is." He says.
"How the hell you get her phone?" Asks Benny.
Elizabeth walks over to Martin's booth. "You enjoy the cherry?" She puts a hand out to take Martin's plate. He drops his fork and grabs her wrist to stop her.
"No! Sorry. Not quite done yet." He says.
"Oh. Did you, uh, reach your friend okay?"
"I did. Thanks." Martin says. Benny can hear Martin and Elizabeth's conversation. He brakes. "I can't believe I left my cell on the bus. Wife says I'd lose my own head if it wasn't screwed on. I'll just be another minute." He says.
"Well, you take your time." She says.
"Thank you." Martin says and turns back to his conversation with Benny. "She's a nice girl. Takes kindly to strangers." He eats another bite of pie.
"You leave her alone – now."
"How far away are you?" Martin asks and licks his fork.
Benny inhales deeply. "An hour." He says.
"You got 45 minutes." Martin says. Benny hangs up and Martin follows suit. "Miss? Your cellphone."
GUIDRY'S CAJUN CAFE
[ ☾]
Benny drives up, parks and walks to the café, which is unlit. He enters. Elizabeth is tied to a chair. Martin reveals himself from behind Elizabeth chair and gripping her shoulder.
"Lay down your arms, you unholy thing!" Martin stands up and puts a large knife to her throat.
Benny spreads his arms. "You got me here, now. Why don't you just let her go and walk away?" He asks.
"I don't think so."
Benny slowly approaches. "You realize I'm not asking." He says.
"I realize that completely." Martin says.
Elizabeth looks frightened. "Roy, what's going on?" He asks.
"It's okay, Lizzie. He ain't gonna hurt you. Ain't that right?" Benny asks. "Come on, now. I got no beef with you. You got no beef with me."
"I got plenty of beef with your kind."
"All right. That may be so, but not for anything that happened here. I did not kill those people." Says Benny.
"I heard. You and Dean had a little Purgatory reunion. Touching." Martin says.
"Roy... please just tell me what's going on here."
"Please. I'm asking you – do not do this. The bad guy is gone, okay?" Benny asks.
"She doesn't know... Benny." Martin says.
"Roy? Who's Benny?" Asks Elizabeth.
"Who's Benny? Let's find out, shall we?" Martin crouches down behind Elizabeth again as Benny comes closer. She makes frightened noises. "Stay back!" He cuts Elizabeth's neck with his knife. She whimpers and starts to cry. "Look. See that?!" She looks at Benny, who is breathing heavily with his mouth open. "Dilated pupils! Hair standing! Signs of hunger!" Benny turns away and his fangs descend.Don't worry. He won't feed off his own flesh and blood."
"Flesh and blood?" Asks Elizabeth.
Martin stands up. "Tell her, Benny. Tell her how you're her long-lost grandpappy. Tell her about all the dead you left behind. Tell her about the monster that you are!" He yells. Benny's fangs retract and he turns sadly back to Elizabeth and Martin.
"What do you want?" Benny asks.
"Isn't it obvious? I want your head..." Martin pulls out a machete with the hand not holding the knife. "...on a stake." Benny nods, slowly approaches and lays his head down on the counter.
Elizabeth's voice breaks. "Ohh... Roy, no." She cries. Benny speaks with tears in his eyes.
"I'm sorry." Benny says.
"Well, hope they're saving a special place for you... wherever it is you come from." Martin lunges at Benny with the machete.
"No!"
AMELIA'S HOUSE
[ ☾]
Sam and Elena pulls up in Martin's vehicle and parks. He cocks his gun. They walk around the back of the house. Sam holds his gun in front of him as he comes around a corner.
Through a window he sees Don watching television. Amelia brings Don a beer and joins him on the couch, sitting very close to him with a hand on his leg. He puts his arm around her. They are both smiling.
Sam uncocks his gun as Amelia takes a drink from the beer she gave Don. Sam takes deep breaths as he watches. Elena pats him on the back and heads back to the car.
Sam gets back into Martin's vehicle and sits for a few moments. He half-smiles as he appears to realize something, then exhales and starts the engine.

Sam, I need your help Come quick
He makes a call to her number. A phone rings. Dean looks around, then leans over and takes a phone out of the glove compartment. The display reads "Sam calling." He answers. The scene alternates between Dean in the Impala and Sam in the bar.
"Sammy?" Dean asks.
"'Sam, I need your help. Come quick'. Nice one. Swapping Amelia's phone out with a burner, sending a distress signal... You got me good. When did you do that?" Sam asks.
"While back, in case I needed it. Looks like I made the right call." Dean says. "So, did you see her?"
"Yeah. Yeah, I saw her. And she's doing just fine. But, of course, you know that." Sam says.
"Actually, I didn't. I did know it was the only way to get you to lay off."
"So? Is it done?" Asks Sam.
"Yeah, it's done." Dean says.
"Any casualties?"
"Martin." He says.
"Was it Benny?" Sam asks.
"He had it coming, Sam. I'll tell you what happened." Dean says.
"I-I know what happened, Dean." Says Sam.
"Okay, you want to listen to me or not?" Dean asks and Sam hangs up. "Damn it."
"I'm so sorry." Elena says and squeezes Sam's hand. He quickly drains his drink and takes money out of his pocket. He and Elena stands up and turns to leave the bar. Sam gasps.
Amelia is walking toward him. "I knew that was you." She says. Sam trembles as he looks at her.
