Naomi's Pov

"So, why again do I have to wear a dress again?" I asked.

"I didn't say you had to wear a dress, I said dress beautiful," Jake said. "Plus the other girls are wearing dresses."

"Fine," I said. "but you still haven't told us where were going."

"And we won't tell." he said tapped my nose and I swatted his hand. I walked to the bathroom and took a shower, I got out and got dressed. The dress was black and strapless and had a white bow. I finished getting dressed and walked out, Jake was ready and damn did he look fine.

"Hey, this good enough?" I asked and he looked at me and bit his lip.

"Yeah," he said. "Let's go." I grabbed my phone and we walked downstairs, I walked out and to Jakes car.

"Can I drive?" I asked.

"You wish," he said.

"Please," I said.

"Not happening babe," he said and I rolled my eyes. He opened my door and I got in and he got in the other side. We don't date again and have kinks.

We got to a restaurant, it was nice and I saw Leanna's black jaguar. We got out and walked inside.

"This is the surprise?" I asked him.

"No, now sh," he said and we walked to the podium and they walked us to the table. Leanna was sitting there but she wasn't alone, there was a boy. He had a caramel color skin tone and his hair was cut low. "Leanna." She looked up along with the boy, he had hazel eyes. He looked so familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.

"Hey guys," she said and smiled.

"Who this?" Jake asked, he had a protective tone in his voice. Leanna shot him a look.

"This is Malik," she said and he smiled, he had perfect white straight teeth.

"It's nice to meet you," he spoke and I knew exactly who he was. "You must be Jake."

"Yeah," he said. "This is Naomi." He looked at me and he knew who I was.

"Nice to meet you Naomi," he said, our eyes locked.

"Hey guys," I heard Justice and it knocked me from my trance.

"Hey my yellow friend," I said and hugged him and then Macy, Simone walked to the bathroom.

"Where's Ethan?" I asked.

"Her and Ethan got into it," Macy said.

"Leanna, who's your friend?" Aaron asked.

"Guys, this is Malik," she said and smiled, he smiled too. Simone came back and Ethan walked in, we all sat down.

"Wait, wasn't Rachael and Rico coming?" Jake asked.

"Nah, Rachael got sick so he stayed with her at the house. They were in the middle of watching step up," Aaron said and my phone vibrated and I pressed ignore but it buzzed again.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Did you just ignore me?" Chase asked.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Uh, it's Casey," he said.

"Did something happen to her?" I asked.

"No, but I popped her hand and she started crying and won't stop. Every time I try to pick her up to pushes me away, I didn't think I hurt her," he said.

"Dude, she will live, you didn't kill her. She's doing that because she knows it brothers you, ignore her and don't baby her," I said. "Jake does the same thing."

"Well I'm so sorry, I felt bad," he said.

"Oh, whine about it," I said. "Go pick her up and rock her to sleep."

"What?" He asked.

"When she doesn't want you to hold her, it's because she's sleepy," I said. "You got it?"

"I think," he said. "I'll call you if I have anything else."

"Ok and oh Chase," I said.

"Yeah," he answered.

"Don't be doing nothing with Leslie while my baby's there," I said.

"I'm not that bad," he said.

"Bye Chase," I said.

"Bye Naomi." he said and I hung it up.

"Casey ok?" Justice asked.

"Yeah, Casey just being Casey. She's in drama queen mode." I said.

"But she's such an angel." Leanna said.

"If you only knew." Jake said and I hit his leg.

"Hey, don't talk about my baby." I said and he rolled his eyes, we laughed.

"Hey Malik," Aaron said and Malik looked at him. "Are you two dating?"

"Yeah." Leanna said.

"Leanna." Macy said.

"Yes, we are." he said.

"If you hurt her, it won't be good for you." he said and he nodded. We got our food and started eating, we had finished.

"I don't want to go home yet." Simone whined.

"Where can we go?" Macy asked.

"Who picked this restaurant?" Simone asked.

"We did." Jake said and I heard sirens, ambulance and police.

"Wow," Aaron said. "Someone's in trouble."

"Stop." a man called.

"Shut up." A boy spat and I turned around. It was Liam.

"Liam, what're yo-" I stood up.

"Hensley, we have to go." he said.

"What? Go where?" I asked.

"I'll explain on the way," he said. "Do I have to pick you up and carry you out?" I ran with him out, I got in the passenger seat as he got in the drivers seat. I heard a groan, I saw Rex in the back.

"He's sick with the flu but I have to watch him." he said.

"Where are you going?" I asked and he turned.

"The hospital." he said.

"Can I ask why?" I asked. "I hope not for Rex."

"No, Dre was shot Naomi." he said and my heart dropped and my throat suddenly felt like the Sahara desert.

"Huh?" I asked.

"I don't know what happened," he said. "I went to the store to get some medicine for Rex. I heard sirens but it was the bad side of town so it didn't surprise me. I had walked out and I saw something on the sidewalk. It was a necklace, Dre's necklace. I knew something wasn't right, then I saw Marcus's car speeding behind the ambulance." my heart was beating and my breathing was heavier, we got to the hospital. I ran inside and saw Marcus. He looked at me.

"Skye," he said and hugged me. "How'd you get here?" The doors opened and Rex and Liam walked in. "What're you doing here?" Liam looked at me.

"Their fine, he brought me here," I said and Rex sat down, he groaned. I walked to the secretary's desk but it was empty, I jumped over the counter and went on the computer. I read Dre's file and done down tech magic. I heard footsteps and I exited it, jumped back over. My phone vibrated. "Yeah?"

"Where'd you go with Liam?" Ethan snapped. "If Dre finds out, he's gonna kill you."

"Ethan." I said.

"What?" He snapped.

"I'm at the hospital." I said.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Dre was shot, I'm here with Marcus." I said.

"Naomi, tell me you're lying." he said.

"I wish I was." I said.

"I'm on my way." he said and hung up. I walked to Liam.

"I'm dead when they get here." Liam said.

"They won't touch you," I said. "Rex is already in enough pain." I looked at Rex who was fast asleep. Tears filled my eyes and soon two arms were around me.

"He's gonna be ok Hensley, Dre's strong," Liam whispered. "Don't cry." I heard the doors open and I saw the others, I pulled back from Liam when I saw the jealousy in Jakes eyes.

"When I said I wanted to go somewhere, I didn't mean here." Macy said.

"Watch it little girl." Marcus said and she looked away.

"What happened to groan a lot?" Justice asked gesturing to Rex.

"He has the flu," Liam said. "So does Halley but she's a bitch when she's sick so I took Rex."

"She's a bitch even when she's not sick." I said.

"True but at least Rex stays quiet, she yells," he said. "I put duct tape on her mouth one time, she was too lazy to pull it off."

"But what if she had to get sick?" Aaron asked.

"She had a cold." He said.

"Why are you watching Rex? Why not his parents?" Macy asked and Liam's eyes had sympathy in them. He looked at Rex.

"Nothing." I said.

"Just tell em." Rex said.

"His parents died in a car wreck not to long ago." I said. "Truck with a drunk driver."

"Oh, so-"

"Don't say sorry, I've heard it more times than I need too." he said, I looked at Liam, he pulled out the necklace and gave it to me.

"Give it to him when he wakes up," he said and Rex stood up. "Bye guys." they walked out and left.

"Here's some clothes," Jake said and I looked at him and the gym bag. I took it and walked to the bathroom, I changed into basketball shorts, a cami, and a hoodie. I put my hair up and I washed off the make up. I walked back out and Brice was here, Leanna nor Malik were here. The girls had changed too and I saw Ethan had my laptop.

"What're you doing?" I asked.

"Come here," he said and I sat beside him. "I hacked into the hospitals database but it's untraceable."

"I'm already a step ahead of you," I said and pulled his file up. "It started with a fight."

"Who would Dre fight?" He asked. "I mean yeah Jace, but Jace wouldn't fight Dre."

"Let's not go straight to blaming WS," I said.

"Did he have any enemies?" Macy asked. "Psycho exes, crazy siblings, mental friends."

"He has thot of a girlfriend," I said and Marcus shot me a warning look. "Can you blame me?" I walked over and sat in a chair, I pulled my knees to my chest.

"Skye, don't do this," Brice said.

"I can't lose him Brice, he's like my dad," I said.

"I know babe, but he's strong, he's gonna make it," he said.

It's been 6 hours and still nothing, the others had went to the cafeteria. Jake and I  had stepped outside in the cold, I was leaned against Jake's car. I heard footsteps but I didn't look away from my phone.

"Daniel?" Jake called.

"Jake, long time no see." The boy said, wait, that voice. I peeked and I saw him, he was taller now, his skin was lighter than caramel. His eyes hazel and specks of gray, he was wearing Levi jeans and a black tee.

"Where've you been?" Jake asked.

"With mom," he said, he looked my way but I looked away quickly. "Who's this?"

"This is Naomi." he said.

"Naomi?" He repeated, I looked up and walked to him. My fists instantly clenched tight where my nails were digging into my palms. My jaw was clenched where I thought it was going to break, my eyes were turning colors.

"Naomi," Jake said.

"Skye." Ethan said, ignored him and tilted my head a little.

"You know what I want right now?" I gritted through my teeth.

"Skye." Brice said.

"What do you want?" Daniel asked, I closed my eyes and I shot them back open, they were mixed with red.

"I have a thirst for blood." I hissed and my fist collided with his jaw.

"Naomi stop." Marcus said and I punched him again, my fist was throbbing and I felt the blood. I punched him again and he punched me, I laughed.

"You hit like Luke." I said and punched him again, then I let my guard down. He punched me and then again, I fell back and he swung but I moved and he punched the concrete. I clawed his face.

"Ah." he screeched and I kicked him off. I punched him and I punched him again. Someone grabbed my waist and pulled me off.

"Naomi stop." someone said and I recognized the voice, Daniel stood up and Jace, Halley, and some newbies.

"I've been waiting for this." Jace said.

"You set me up." I said.

"Dude, you didn't tell me she was a vampire." Daniel said, he sounded different.

"You're not Daniel." I said and Jace got in front of Daniel.

"You're a blonde, Hensley, dumb." he said and smirked.

"Don't make me have the thirst of blood again Jace, maybe this time you might actually go in the hospital." I hissed.

"Let it go." Malik whispered to me.

"Heard about Dre." Halley said.

"Watch it." Ethan hissed and she scoffed and got in his face.

"Like you would do anything." She said and smirked.

"With one hit Halley, I can make you forget what day it is. Try me." he hissed.

"Ethan don't do it." Aaron said, a fist collided with Halley's jaw but it wasn't Ethan's. It was Macy's.

"Give me one reason why I can't punch you right now?" A newbie hissed at her.

"Because if you touch her, I'll break your face." Justice spat, yep, definitely a different side of Justice.

"Jace, just go." I said.

"And miss this opportunity, I don't think so." He said.

"Guys, just go." I said.

"We're not leaving you." Leanna said.

"I got them," I said and Aaron, Jake, Brice, Justice, and Ethan walked away. "Now," Simone, Leanna, and Macy tackled three newbies. I punched Jace and we all were fighting. "Run." we all ran into the hospital.

"What took you so long?" Ethan asked. "Oh no, did you fight?"

"Nope, we beat their butts." Leanna said.

"There's no way you beat Jace by himself." Marcus said.

"Hey!" I said. "Simone and I had him at first but she got Halley, Malik jumped in." The doors opened and Liam ran in.

"What's up?" I asked and he put his finger up to breathe, he looked at me.

"Are you girls crazy?" He snapped.

"Very." Leanna said.

"Why would you fight them, Hensley?" He hissed. "I almost got in trouble for bringing you here, but Rex past out before he could say are were back from the hospital with Hensley. He said hospital and was out."

"Liam, he better be glad I was the one who fought him because what I did to him, Dre would've done worse," I said. "Halley and I are gonna go head to head one day, she better hope it's the day I don't have the thirst for blood. It won't be good for that princess."

"Watch it Naomi." he said sternly.

"Just listen and hear me loud and clear, in gonna find out who shot Dre. If Westside had anything to do with it, even if one of them overheard it. I put this on Casey's life, there will be blood in the end and I may have let people stop me before. Try me then." I said and he bit his lip.

"If I have to fight Hensley, that means you too. You know I'm just as strong as Ethan, but if I have to I will," he said and he kissed two fingers and laid them on my forehead. "You got to think about Dre too Hensley."

"What would Dre have to do with it?" I asked.

"Because when Dre wakes up and he finds out you had fought like that, it'll be blood between you and him too." he said.

"It'll be worth it," I said and he started walking out. "Why'd you trick me into believing Max was Daniel?" He stopped and looked down, he pivoted around on his left foot. "You knew."

"I knew at last minute," he said. "They wanted you to fight him, it gave them the advantage."

"But I only saw him because of..." my voice trailed off, I turned to Jake. "How'd you know Max?" His eyes were darker. "Jake, did you help them?" He stood up and walked to me, he looked at Liam.

"Go." he said.

"What?" Liam asked.

"Just go Liam." I said and Liam looked at Jake and back at me.

"If I hear anything, I'll tell you," he said. "Bye Hensley." he walked out and I looked at Jake.

"You had something to do with this?" I asked.

"Yeah," he said and I punched him. "Not with Dre Naomi! With Westside."

"I know," I hissed. "What's wrong with you? First you kiss Halley and now you're helping them?"

"Let me explain Mimi." he said.

"It better be good Jake." I said.

"Casey isn't with Chase." he said.

"What?" I asked.

"She's with a Westside member." he said and my eyes got wide.

"What's wrong with you?" I yelled and I pushed him and hit his chest, he grabbed my arms.

"Naomi stop," he said. "Chase had to go somewhere and he dropped Casey off at the house, you were here and I was there getting you some clothes. Then Jace and Halley showed up at the house, Halley had Casey but I couldn't get to her because of Jace. Jace told me if I wanted Casey back I had help him set you up, of course I agreed. I was with the two and Jace and Halley talking about where to leave Casey."

"Jake, you could've fought." I said.

"Listen, that was my first thought but I didn't want to hurt Casey. So they were talking and they said one of the names and I told them anyone but him. Jace liked that idea though that's who he picked. Right now Casey is locked in a room," He said and I clenched my fists. "Watching a Scooby doo marathon."

"How do you know?" I hissed.

"Because Naomi, she's locked in my room watching Scooby doo," he said and smiled a little. "She wearing my hoodie, Brandon's watching her but the only way I could trick them was to make them think I hated Brandon. So, Brandon didn't recognize Casey at first and Brandon wouldn't know what to do with a baby even you gave him instructions. So I texted him earlier and told him to take her to my room and make sure she couldn't get ahold of anything."

"But-"

"Did you really think I'd let them take her to a Westside house, I'd fight before that would ever happen," He said. "If you don't believe me or you wanna check up on her, you can use my phone. Last time Brandon told me he was busy trying to get Casey from under my bed, she stole his cookie and crawled under the bed." I smiled.

"She is my baby," I said. "But why'd you lock her in there?" his smile faded and he looked away. "Jake."

"Leon was coming home tonight from the trip, if he found out Casey was there. It wouldn't be good for me or Brandon," he said. "I can't protect Casey and Brandon at the same time."

"What?" I asked.

"The day you got jumped and somehow ended up in my bed, Leon was suppose to home that day. I kept telling you be quiet because I couldn't let him hear you, but he never came." he said.

"You never left the room, how'd you know he wasn't there?" I asked.

"Because mom yelled for me, she would never yell if he was there." he said.

"Wait back up, Chase called me and he had Casey, I wasn't gone that long till you guys showed up. That's not enough time." I said, he bit his lip.

"You just can't stop investigating, could you?" He asked and I looked at Malik.

"You helped too?" I asked him.

"Yep," he said. "Jake made him make his decision to take Casey to Brandon, I was just the one that made sure she was safe."

"That's what you were doing?" Leanna asked.

"Yeah, Casey was more important than clothes at the time," he said and kissed her cheek. "I couldn't tell you I knew Casey because you'd ask questions."

"You lied to me," she said, she crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes. "You have to gain my trust babe."

"Angel," he said softly and her green eyes looked up. "What do you want to know?" She whispered in his ear and Malik tensed.

"Babe, that's not my choice." he said.

"Then who's is it?" She asked and he looked at me.

"What do you wanna do?" He asked.

"The leader of ES is Dre, the leader of WS is Trey," I said. "Dre and Trey were like brothers growing up, but one mistake changed everything."

"Trey hit Skye." Ethan said.

"So?" Justice asked.

"Dre had a girlfriend and I didn't like her and she didn't like me. She got me in trouble so many times its not even funny. I got to the point I didn't even argue that I didn't do the stuff that I took the punishments," I said. "One day, I came to ES to talk to Dre and Trey was there, but he wasn't alone. They were kissing and I was so shocked at the time, I walked away and then came back with Ethan. Dre had got there and he was mad, I thought he found out about the two," I shook my head. "He was mad at me because she told him I called her a bitch, I told him I didn't. It didn't help anyway, so the boys had got back and they knew I got trouble."

"We knew better to ask what happened because it would only make Dre mad." Brice said.

"She had came and sat on his lap, he kissed her cheek. He looked away and she looked at me, I knew she saw the handprint on my cheek. She smirked and she looked at Dre, he looked at her and he kissed her. All my anger came from my cheek that was still stinging. I looked at him and I asked, how does the taste of Treys lips taste. He looked at me and he was pissed, but I didn't care." I said.

"We were all frozen because we thought Skye had lost her marbles." Brice said.

"Trey jerked me up and he was madder than anything, he snapped do you really wanna go there. I said the only where he's been is inside her mouth. He punched me and it didn't phase me because I had had worse. He told me lie one more time and I said that your loyal and I can trust you," I explained. "Before he could touch me again, Dre got him and pushed him away. Ethan helped me up and Dre and Trey were arguing. The girl was smirking and I lunged at her, I started punching her and Ethan had jerked me off her."

"So basically, they hate each other." Ethan said.

"So, why do you guys hate Rex and all of them?" Simone asked.

"We just do, it came natural, they were WS and we were ES." I said.

"Andre Silvers." a doctor called and we looked at him. "Andre is in a coma, the bullet punctured his heart. We need a donor."

"Can we see him?" Marcus asked and he nodded, we walked back and we saw him. His caramel skin was darker, he looked vulnerable. He was like my dad, he couldn't protect me anymore.
