I was back at home after training since I wanted to take a break. Oh, right you don't know who I am. I'm Y/N L/N, I was trained in YG entertainment for a while then transferred to BigHit (long story, don't ask). I trained there for 8 years, yep 8 years. I was born in Korea, raised in LA.

Currently, I'm sitting on my comfy bed, scrolling though Instagram, when I heard my mom. 

"Y/N food's ready" 

"Coming mom!" I answered. Jumping off of my bed, like a little kid, I ran downstairs. Our dining room is inside our kitchen which makes it easier for mom to serve the food hot. The whole thing is white colour with those cute little plants. I saw my mom and dad talking. 

"Hey mom! Hey dad!" I pulled the chair and sat down. "Hey, champ" dad said. Mom served me my favourite, chicken steak (if you don't like it, you can just switch it to your favourite)! 

After an hour or so, we were ready to doze off to bed but......

I got a message from my boss. No, not a job!!!!!

Boss

How are you Y/N? 

You

I'm fine. Just glad I'm back home

I sent the last message hoping that I get some more time with my parents. 

Boss

Right. But, I have good news for you

Boss

One of my groups need a female singer and I chose you

Group? Me? Singer? I have tons of friends in girl groups so I'll be fine. But, I'm not in YG anymore.(Does any of you know who she's referring?)

You

A K-POP group? Is it the other 4 (BLACKPINK)? Or Red Velvet? Or TWICE?

I typed in hurry. Unfortunately, it's not them. It's someone else. Someone unexpected.

No, I know that your mom won't be so comfortable with this..

I'll send you the flight details tomorrow.

I closed my phone and looked at my mom who was cleaning the dishes. I walked closed to her. 

"Hey, mom....."

"What is it?" she asked. Oh no, she knows my plan.

"Um.... I got a job" I told her, taking a pause between my words. Dad almost chocked on his coffee and mom froze. 

"That's great!" They both. Both of them started asking me questions. Wonder why? This a life time opportunity. 

"Um, mom, there's a slight problem" my mom looked very anxious "they're a boy band"

"WHAT?" She looked angry. My dad, on the other hand, looked pretty chill with it. "Caleb, How could he offer this? Couldn't he put her with her friends like Lisa and uh, Jisoo, Rosé or Joy. Sana is also there. See so many!" True I have friends in other groups as well. 

Caleb sighed and looked at mom "Min, you know this is a one time opportunity, with her favourite boy band. And plus, if you're worried about her, know she's good in martial arts." he said calmly. Yay, Dad you're doing a good job convincing mom. She dropped her shoulders and sighed in relief "Ok, I guess you can go" 

That night I was busy packing my things. It was hard not to pack my BTS tops (so that I don't look like a crazy fan). My parents kept coming to check on me but, I just stared at my phone. Finally, I started getting bored so, I slept. Tomorrow is going to change my life. 

BEEP! BEEP! 

My alarm made me jump out of my bed. I looked at the clock. 4:00? 4:00!?!?!? Why am I awake at 4:00 AM!!! My phone beeped and I saw 4 unread messages. Why would I get-oh. 

I quickly checked the flight details. It's a good thing that I woke up early since my flight will leave  in 2 hours.
