[For all those who saw the last update, thank you so much. I'm trying so hard to find some inspiration. A close friend tells me to take a break, but I just don't listen and wanted to write this part.] 

The sunlight hit my face, as always. 

It's been a week since the concert and I'm here at my parent's house. I made them listen to my new album. 

"Y/N/N, I'm so proud of you!" Dad says. 

"(Thank you, dad!)" I exclaim. He looks at me with confusion and that's when I realised that he doesn't understand. My mom starts laughing. 

Ring! Ring! Ring! 

"That's my phone. Be right back!" I run towards the kitchen and pick it up. 

"Hello?" 

"Hey. . . .Shadow" 

My parents were looking at me. They don't know who I'm talking to. 

"I'll be right back" I tell them. 

"L-Lucas?" I ask, tear-eyed. We're not on video call, but I know he's smiling. "Hey. Uh, I wanted to know if you wanted to catch up?" 

"Sure" I smile. 

Time Skip

I ran to Lucas as soon as I spotted him. 

Lucas laughs and hugs me "You missed me that much?" 

"Of course I did" 

His eyes soften and he smiles "Missed you too. Come on. Let's go" 

We went to the store and got some stuff for  Yu-Ri. It's the day. . . . . . . 

As far as I remember, Yu-Ri loves white sneakers, pizza, headphones, ferry rides.. 

I quickly went to get my bag and sat on the ground. From my small, pink handbag, I took out a letter which I wrote. 

Dear Yu-Ri, 

How are you? How's everything? It's been seven years since I last saw you. Is Jae-hwan with you? Is he okay? You better keep him safe. He's always been scared of water. Both of you should've just stayed behind. It would've been better, but I'm proud you helped those students. I visited your school, they call you a hero. You like that right? 

I have some sneakers for you, don't pass it on to the rest of your friends. It hurt when I give something to you and you give it to someone else. 

I'm leaving this here, even though I don't know if you'll read it or not. But I hope you do.

Lucas bends down and hands me a tissue. I didn't even realise I was crying. How cliché. I place the letter on the ground and look at the flowers surrounding it. 

Flashback  

"(Yu-Ri! Here!") I give her a bouquet of azalea. Yu-Ri flashes her happy smile while showing her cute dimples. She takes it from me. "(Thank you Unnie! But what will I do with these flowers?)" she asks. 

I smile and reply "(Place them somewhere in Jeju)". She nods and turns to go. 

"(Bye Unnie! I'll send you photos!)" she shouts. 

"(And videos too!)" 

"(Of course, those too!)" she laughs and joins her classmates. 

She's going to be fine. 

Flashback ends

Lucas pats my shoulders. It's time to go home. I nod at Lucas, assuring him that I'm fine. Lucas gave me a ride back home. 

"You're not coming?" I ask him while standing at the gate. He shakes his head. "I don't think she's ready for me yet. And your dad. . . ." 

I nod, showing that I understand. I walk with my head hung low. 

"Hey kiddo!" Dad says. But then notices my state. He started coming towards me, but Mom stops him. 

"It's 16th April" Mom whispers. 

"So?" Dad asks. Maybe he doesn't know. 

Mom smacks his head. "Ow!" he complains. 

Time Skip 

I sit on my mat and switch on the camera. 

"No body is here, okay I'll just wait" 

I look away for a minute or so and look back.

"Hello everybody" I say 

Hi Y/N! 

Ahh Shadow!!!

and many comments saying 'hi' 

"Um, I don't usually do a live on this day. Due to some reasons. I hope you understand." 

Aww Shadow, what happened?

"It's fine ARMY. I'm fine." I smile, showing that I'm fine, when I don't think I'm fine. 

I wait for a while before continuing "I had a friend, she is-was my best friend. I went to go visit her today. I hope she gets the letter. I write every year. She messaged me when the ship was sinking, telling me how scared she was. I told her that she'll be fine. How wrong I was. It wasn't alright. She video called me, showing me what the situation was. I asked her where the captain was, and she didn't have an answer." 

Oh no! 

"Um, I talked to my cousin, who was with her the whole time. He is the scaredy cat." I laugh remembering how Jae-hwan used to jump on me when he saw a little cat. "My friend helped the student get on the life boats but...she...she..." I wanted to talk. But, there's something in my throat. It's stopping me. I feel my tears streaming down my face. 

Ring! Ring! 

"(Jungkook?)" 

"(Noona, are you okay?)" 

"(H-how d-did you k-know?)' 

"(I'm watching your live. Are you okay Noona? Remember your breathing exercises, breathe in...breathe out..)" 

"(Y-you know I-I hate...that)" 

"(It's fine Noona. You'll be alright)" and with that, he cuts the call. 

Y/N take your time. 

It's fine 

Y/N/N, it's fine. You're okay. 

"....She slipped and f-fell. She was t-trying to save them. My c-cousin jumped in to save her but both of them.." I shook my head. I can't continue. It's not possible for me. 

Y/N..

"I'm sorry ARMY...I-I just can't c-continue" 

I switch it off. 

The whole night, I bawled. It hurts. It hurts! She didn't deserve that. Jae-hwan didn't deserve it. Neither did Yu-Ri...
