A Helicopter, An Interview, A Hospital Bed

Welcome to the last chapter of NO MORE! Thank you all so much for making it this far, I really appreciate you're guy's support and love, so this story goes out to all of you reading this now.

Happy Reading!

The helicopter swooped around the perimeter of the house after it had already gone up in flames. Sam was counting for everyone who was left as the helicopter circled by.

"Chris, Ashley," She counted as Ashley helped look at Chris's leg. "Emily," She noted for the girl who was sitting by herself on a rock, her head in her hands. "Mike and Bo?" She called out for them. She received no answer as she surveyed the area. "Where's Mike and Bo?"

Chris, Ashley, and Emily looked up at Sam with fear in their eyes. Emily raced over with the group.

"You mean they're gone? They're still in there!?" She yelled as she pointed to the burning building. Chris stood up, even with his bad leg.

"We have to go get them." He shouted back over the sound of the helicopter nearing the ground. Several paramedic troops dropped down, ready to escort them into the helicopter. Ashley happily accepted their help while Chris struggled against them. "No! Let me go! You don't understand! Mike and Bo are still in there." He wrestled out of the Paramedics grip and hobbled over towards the building. From the front porch came a shout of pain as Mike appeared in the burning doorway with an unconscious Bo in his arms. He walked down the patio just before the roof caved in on the cabin.

"We have more survivors, I repeat, we have more survivors," One of the paramedics spoke into his intercom. Several of their men ran forward and took Bo out of Mike's hand forcefully. He yelled at them to give her back to him.

"Where are you taking her! I need her back!"

"Sir, you can see her once she's in a hospital with vitals in her, right now she needs medical attention as soon as possible." The female paramedic calmed him down, taking all six of them into the helicopter along with one other Paramedic, the others down on the ground looking for Matt in the forest.

Everyone watched in silence as the Medic examined Bo's cuts and bruises along with taking her temperature, hoping that their favorite Bo they all knew and loved would stay the same. Hoping she would come back alive.

Christopher Heartly

Chris: The old man, I, er...I don't know how to describe him, I mean-

Reporter: You said you thought he was stalking you, at first. Did anyone else in your group think that?

Chris: Well, yeah-

Reporter: Is it possible that they could have killed him?

Chris: What? No, no you don't understand. Don't you understa-

Reporter: Did he attack you?

Chris: He saved our lives. And we watched him die.

Reporter: You mean, we as in the whole group?

Chris: Bo and I.

Reporter: Bo Anne Tracy? The girl in the hospital for serious Hypothermia?

Chris: She watched a lot of death, if you want the biggest adventure, go ask her. She's the real hero out of all of us.

Ashley Brown

Ashley: I heard Jessica. I don't know how or why she was down there, but I know I heard her.

Reporter: Did you help her?

Ashley: I wanted to, but I figured I had seen so much that I was just hearing stuff now. I thought I was in my head, but I realize now that it was her, that I was wrong.

Reporter: Was this before or after you went looking for Michael and Bo Anne.

Ashley: We were looking for them. I got left behind on accident, so I went to catch up and that was when I heard her.

Reporter: So did you find them?

Ashley: No, Sam went before us and told us all to go back, and keep watch in case Matt showed up. We couldn't get to where we needed to with Chris's leg. Is Bo okay?

Reporter: She's just fine. We have her in a hospital getting treatment, right now.

Ashley: Oh, thank God. I don't know how tonight would have played out if she wasn't there to help.

Emily Davis

Emily: He held it right up to my face- right here- right in front of my nose, and he could have shot me! He almost shot me if it weren't for Bo. She was the only one on my side, without her, I probably wouldn't be here.

Reporter: So she helped you?

Emily: Helped me is an understatement, she saved me life! Speaking of which, is she alright? She didn't look all that great when I saw her last.

Reporter: We don't have many details, but she's just fine, getting some rest in the hospital before we question her.

Emily: Good. But you date a guy for however long and you think you know him, but man, this one really takes the cake. Are you bringing in meatbrain next? Gonna kick him around a little bit for me?

Reporter: I'm sorry?

Emily: You know, meat brain, Mister Musclebrawn, Matt the Incredible Sulk?

Reporter: Is there something we need to know?

Emily: Oh, no, nothing important. Except, you know, how he basically left me to die on a freaking tumbling tower like a first class douche nozzle?

Matthew Taylor

Matt: I was right there and I could have done something. I tried to do something. I just wasn't good enough.

Reporter: You're talking about Emily, right?

Matt: If I had reached my arm just a little further, I could have pulled her up, bu-but I panicked. I thought if I got a better angle, I could save her. I was wrong, when I jumped off the tower, my weight made it fall.

Reporter: You know, Emily is alright.

Matt: She is? Well, I mean, it's not any use to me now. It's not like she'd forgive me.

Jessica Riley

Reporter: How did you end up in the mines?

Jessica: I was...carried...and taken...and...

Reporter: What did you see?

Jessica: I don't know...I don't know...

Reporter: Your friend, Ashley- she told us she tried to help you.

Jessica: No...

Reporter: She said she heard you calling out.

Jessica: No...not me. But...Mike...

Reporter: What do you remember?

Jessica: He came back for me. He did.

Reporter: Came for you?

Jessica: Where is he? Did he make it back?

Reporter: Yes. He did.

Jessica: Oh, thank God.

Michael Munroe

Mike: He was out of his fucking mind. He wanted to hurt us. And...and I thought he was the one who attacked Jess.

Reporter: A lot of your group tells me you and Bo Anne became a kind of...tag team, near the end of your journey. Would you explain that for me?

Mike: Well, before Chris and the stranger went to find them, from what Bo told me, Josh was taken away by a...creature. Have you ever heard of a Wendigo?

Reporter: From your friends, yes.

Mike: They're a Native American spirit that is released when a human resorts to cannibalism. And they're real.

Reporter: Yeah, you and you're group seem to tell me about that a lot. You know, spirits that possess a human body, changing it's physical appearance aren't real, right?

Mike: You go through what we did and tell me that again. You fucking tell me.

Reporter: Alright, alright. Just-Just keep going.

Mike: Bo wanted to find Josh and I needed his keys. I guess you could call it a match made in heaven. We went through a lot together, with the whole Sanatorium experience, and we both had each other's backs. She had mine more than I had hers, though. (Laughs)

Reporter: Can you tell me about the Cabin just before it blew up?

Mike: Now that, that is the strangest story I could ever tell you from tonight. And I know it sounds crazy but if you just listen, it will make sense.

Reporter: Alright, I'm all ears.

Mike: After everyone left, it was just Bo and I. She was completely surrounded by Wendigos, those creatures that you don't believe in, but she just...dazedly walked in the middle, all calm and shit, and when the Wendigos would try and grab her, parts of their body would just...disintegrate. And then, she shot this light from her body, but it wasn't Bo anymore, it was someone totally different inside her, and-and was...she identified herself as someone named Wagoshi Mooyeah or something like that, she called herself the Foxwoman. And she kept saying something about having 'no more demons'. Then the cabin blew up and Bo and I...we were completely...untouched and she was unconscious.

Samantha Giddings

Reporters: Most of your grouping is talking about this, Bo Anne Tracy, can you tell me anything about her?

Sam: (Laughs) What do you want to know? I know everything from her worst fear to favorite color.

Reporters: I just need to know about tonight.

Sam: She was like...a superhero with insane strength. She saw everything and was in every disastrous situation possible. From the Wendigos attacks to her own boyfriend getting chopped in half only to come back and be taken away from her twice all in a matter of three hours. You want a story, you go ask her. She's seen worse than war veterans at only age 18.

Reporters: So I take it you were friends with Bo?

Sam: She was one of my closest friends, one of my favorite people and the most respectable one in the world.

Reporters: Well, then you should know we're taking your friends to see her in the hospital.

Sam: I'm coming with.

Reporters: I can make it happen.

Everyone crowded around Bo's hospital bed, the room almost all the way dark before the Nurse came in and turned on the lights. She was really short and chubby but smiled warmly at all the teenagers.

"You are the kids from the Cabin story, right? With the psycho and the creepy legged creatures." She asked. Chris nodded his head.

"Yeah...hard to believe news gets out that fast." He muttered.

"You guys are everywhere! You're blowing up the Internet feed. Oh, honey, you can wake up the poor thing if you want. She's been sleeping for a while now."

"Thank you." Chris whispered, watching her rush out of the room. "Hey, Bo. Bowie, wake up." He sat down on his knees, pushing the blonde hair away from Bo's face. She stirred under his touch and her eyes groggily opened. Ashley gasped as she watched her wake.

"Josh?" She whispered. Sam could tell Chris was holding back tears.

"No, Bowie, it's me, Chris. Is that alright?" He asked with a smile, remembering when he carried her when they were taking Josh to the shed before he was taken by a Wendigo and he asked her the very same question.

"Yeah..." She smiled, as bright as she could in her current situation, laughing and then coughing again, like she always had. Chris took out a tissue from the box that was sitting on the nightstand next to the bed and held it in front of her face, allowing her to cough.

He turned towards his friends. "Can I have just a couple minutes alone? You all can come on in alone too, when I'm finished."

"Of course," Sam answered, leading the group out of the room.

"Chris," Bo croaked out. "I'm scared." She began to cry.

"It's all over now, Bo. You made it, no one died, we all made it out." He comforted her, holding her face in his hand. She became more dear to him, like a sister, in a span of just this night. Especially once he had realized he risked his life just for her, he decided he would wanted to protect her forever.

"Am I dead?" She asked him, tear still running down her face. "I feel dead."

"You're not dead, Bowie." He couldn't help but let a tear of his own fall. "You're here with me."

"I can't feel anything but sadness, is this what death feels like?" She sobbed. "How did I know all those things about the Wendigos an-and why do I not remember anything after the three Wendigos in the cabin? Did I just create everything, all this torture?"

"Don't tell me that all of this wasn't real, Bo Anne. We lived all of it, I lived all of it. My ankle is busted." He passive aggressively yelled at her, more frustrated with the whole situation than her.

"I know, I'm sorry. All I want is to just wake up an-and let all of it be a dream."

"I know you do, we all do, but it was real, it happened, and now we gotta live our lives knowing we survived." Chris bent over and kissed her cheek before leaving her alone for the next person to talk to her. Emily, Ashley and Matt walked into the room next. Ashley ran up to her, attacking her in a hug. When she let go, Emily gave her a cheeky grin.

"Heya, trooper. How are you feeling?" She asked, with a teasing hint.

"Like absolute hell, which I've been through." Bo cracked back, sitting up in her bed.

"We heard you went...kind of goofy in the Cabin. Mike didn't give too much details but, blowing up the Cabin? You're a bad ass person, Bo!" Emily continued, trying to make light of the situation.

"I don't know how we can thank you for practically saving us all." Ashley insisted. "You were like, a God send to us. Always there, encouraging us, constantly sacrificing yourself for us. I've never seen a person do it all so effortlessly as you had."

"It wasn't effortless, Ash. I'm in a hospital bed...feeling like hell." Bo reiterated, referring to her previous answer.

"I know, but you made being brave look so easy." Ashley held Bo's hand. "I think I can safely speak for all of us when I say we want to thank you, for showing us what a real hero looks like."

"I'm not a hero, I couldn't save Josh..." Bo turned her head away from her friend's, guilt-filled.

"You saved Josh, multiple times, Bo." Emily answered for Ashley. "You don't have to feel so bad about yourself because he got what was coming to him!"

"Emily!" Ashley yelled at her.

"What!? That son of a bitch deserved to die after what he put us all through!" She continued.

"Emily, stop!" Ashley escorted her out of the room, leaving her with Matt.

"I'm sorry about her." He scratched the back of his neck, awkwardly.

"Oh, don't be. I completely understand, I was beyond furious too."

"Yeah, I'm not happy either. I was there when we tried to help you." Matt said, explicitly. "Emily dragged me out before we could see you awake, but we helped Chris carry you into the cabin after the shed incident. You were all covered in blood, and we got so scared because we thought it was yours. You really mean a lot to this group, they don't always say it, but you gave us all the reality check we needed, that the world doesn't revolve around us teens. That we were horrible people and we shouldn't act like last year never happened, but we should memorialize it. Don't dwell on the past, but certainly don't forget it, because that's where we find who we were before we became who we are."

With that last word of wisdom, Matt walked away, making Bo smile lightly. It was Sam's turn, making Bo smile more.

"Samantha!" She cried out, in as much happiness she could muster.

"Bo Anne!" Sam cried back, in the same tone, giving her a light hug, given the situation at hand. "How are you?"

"Could be dead, hanging from chains on the ceiling with my head detached from my neck." She smirked.

"Are you being strangely specific for a reason?" Sam teased her back. "Oh, I'm so happy we made it back. It's not going to be the same, but we're all here." She said, triumphantly. Bo's smile was wiped off her face as she looked away at the lamp on the other bedside.

"So many people have repeated that, we're all here, we all survived'. Have you really forgotten about Josh? How he's back in that mine, God know's if he's alive or not, while I'm here getting the glory for something that I shouldn't, Sam! Ashley called me a hero, I'm no more than any of you are. We all worked together, I didn't carry you all on my shoulders." Bo began to weep.

"I know you didn't, but you were still outstanding. All of the stuff you did for us, got us here. Josh may be gone, but we can still go back. There is absolutely nothing keeping us away from that damn mine." Sam told Bo with a seriousness all too familiar to her. She slowly nodded her head.

"I'm going back then."

"Well, when I said there was nothing keeping us away from that mine, I forgot to mention one thing: I won't let you go." Sam said, giving her the stink eye. "We'll leave it up to the officials, the Washington's need your support with Josh being gone now. You're just as much as family to them."

"I'm going back."

"No, you're not going back, Bo. Not in your condition."

"Alright. You win." Bo lied, planning on returning to the mine to find Josh against Sam's and everyone else's permission. I saved him before, I can do it again, she thought to herself, as she watched her friend leave to be replaced with Mike and Jessica, who looked awful.

"Hey there, partner." He said quietly, looking down at his beaten teammate. "You and I kicked a lot of ass, tonight."

"I feel like I got my ass kicked more than the other way around." She groaned, jokingly and started coughing again once she went to laugh.

"You really...you really scared me in the cabin beforehand." Mike admitted. "You turned into this...blinding woman-thing. You kept repeating this phrase like, 'I am-"

"-I am Waagoshii Mindimooye, foxwoman, protector of this mountain and the human race, go and no longer contain these demons." She whispered to herself. He looked at her surprised.

"You remember?"

"No." She quickly shook her head, "but I remember going away, before the Cabin exploded, and I was...reliving my life in backwards time and then I was...reliving another life. There was...this old woman and she had a grandson and I was sent to help him an-and-and... in the background, I just heard that phrase being repeated in the back of my mind, I don't-I don't understand what it means."

"That's fucking sick, man." Mike breathed out. "Like it just came to you? Without warning?"

Now that Bo had thought about it, she had seen foxes so many times before hand, but never took any note of it. Whenever she had seen something, she always had some kind of vision. Maybe that was her warning she never took into mind.

"I had been seeing...foxes, pretty much everywhere before. It was so odd because I would get so close to them, like they weren't afraid of me."

"Weird..." Mike whispered. Jessica moved forward, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"M-maybe it's not." Jessica spoke. "Remember those boards posted up all along the way to the Cabin, they all were about Native American myths and there was one about a fox, how they are the symbol of the smart and witty. If Wendigos can possess a human, I don't see how a Waygo Mindiyeah-"

"Waagoshii Mindimooye."

"-whatever, character can't possess Bo." Jessica admitted. Bo's glance slowly looked up to the window on the side of the window where she, in fact, she a fox resting on the sill.

"Guys, do you see that?" She pointed at the window. "That fox, on the window sill of the fourth floor."

The two of them looked over at gasped.

"Oh my God!" Jessica whispered. "That's been following you this entire time in the woods?"

"Yeah," Bo agreed, "That's the one."

BO ANNE TRACY

Bo: Listen to me, you seem like a smart person so I would hope you believe what all seven of us say. Actually, I don't care if you believe in the Wendiogs or not. Doesn't matter because you will once you see what we all saw.

Reporter: Well, I guess we skipped the hellos. I'm glad I finally get to meet the Bo Anne everyone keeps talking about. We're calling you a hero in the papers.

Bo: You need to go into the mines.

Reporter: That's not necessarily in my power to do. What's in the mines?

Bo: I've seen what's down there. I've lived what's down there. And I'm going back whether you're with me or not. Joshua Washington is down there, and I believe it is in your story's best interest to find him with me.

Reporter: Even if we go down there, you wouldn't be able to go.

Bo: I can't not go, sir. I can't.

Reporter: Ms. Tracy, please don't leave before you've answered all your questions.

(Door opens)

(Incoherent whispering)

Reporter: Ms. Tracy, are you alright?!

Bo: ... I am Waagoshii Mindimooye, foxwoman, protector of the mountain and the human race, go and no longer contain these demons...
