It has been Months, The continued being like themselves. When you asked about Friendship. Yes it has been Great as they began caring for each other. But do you think will they accept?. Never. Still the tom and Jerry trait with them haven't changed. And Neil never leaves his chance to annoy and vice versa. They fight lot due to their differences in preferrence and Avni being careless sometimes. Well, if we interpret from Avni's side, Neil is a complete perfectionist which annoys her sometimes.

As being living all alone these years in Paris, Cooking became a hobby for Neil. But he never had experience of someone complimenting it and enjoying it appreciating his efforts. When Avni used to do it, he genuinely feels contented and he tries pull different dishes daily making her wonder why he chose a wrong direction of being working in International Company than being a Great Chef. As this trait of him gives anyone complete 'Husband Material ' vibe.

Once a Day

Yaar.. Why am I being like this! " She cursed for nth time for leaving her important file for the meeting in home.

Avni became late this morning and hurriedly came office without having anything in the morning.

"I didn't even Dried my towel.. I bet my wet towel will be lying in his table which he hates it... And gonna give a lecture for me tonight.. " She murmured and sighed closing her eyes.

" Huff!!... When I went to do dishes after dinner yesterday, I even fought with him for not cleaning the kitchen after cooking as it is Part of his Work ... " She made a pout thinking of the fight they had yesterday.

"Instead of worrying ask your husband to bring it here...We still have time" Her friend, Saisha gave an idea seeing her murmuring.

"Huh.. Don't know what he gonna say.. " She murmured taking her phone and dialled his number.

Within few minutes

"Hello.. " He spoke and connected the call in Car Bluetooth.

"Hello..Neil?.. Are you out somewhere? "  She asked him as she could able to hear some noise.

"Nope.. I am standing in Porch.. " He lied to her.

"What are you doing? " She asked him as being sweetest as possible.

" You want something right?" He asked her immediately noticing her odd behavior while she shut her eyes.

"Hehe.. I.. Left the file on my table... You know that Pink file which I was working on yesterday... Can.. You...please.." Before she could say, he spoke.

"I am busy.. " He said sternly and silently laughed hearing her frown.

"I knew it.. " She murmured and sighed.

"I can hear you.. " He said and waited at signal as he was really driving.

"Neil... It's urgent... You know right.. I have been working on since days . " She said to him in a whining tone.

"How can you be so careless Avni?... You know.. You have meeting.. And how could you forget that? " He told her while she kept her hand on her forehead looking down as she expected this.

"And The rules....You again forget to " Before he could start about the towel which she forget to dry.

"I don't have time for this.. I am all yours tonight..you can do it later" She made him stop while he literally coughed hearing her as he interpret in different way. Neil cleared his throat and continued speaking

" If I bring the file for you..What will you do for me..? " He asked teasing her while she rolled her eyes.

" What do you want?..." She asked him and he can clear see her annoyance in her voice.

" Let's go for a long drive ...as I am stressed of work...I need someone to annoy.." He told her biting his lips to hold back his laughter.

"Fine.. " She spoke sternly clenching her teeth

"Come down at the entrance within 5 mins.. " He said to her as he was actually coming to her office. While Avni went blank.

When he came upstairs after having his breakfast, he found her file which she has been working on. He thought it was important and started to her office and that's when she actually called him.

"What..? " She asked him in shock.

"I will be there in 5 mins.. " He said to her while she stood up from her seat and started to move. They put off the call.

"Can he teleport or what? " She thought moving towards the elevator.

He entered her office and saw Avni waiting for him in the lobby. She too saw him while he came near her and about to give her file but again took them away.

"Don't forget about what you said.. " He actually missed her irritating face and when he gets chance, he didn't want to miss that.

"Fine.. Give me" She said having a straight smile. While he chuckled and gave to her along with a box.

"I made breakfast.. Have that too... I guess you still have time.. " He said looking at his watch and gave it to her while she nodded.

.....

She reached home tired and found Neil nowhere. She freshen up and straightly went to Kichen to eat something as she is starving. But he hasn't cooked anything yet. She thought to order something but she is too tired and left to room to sleep.

Later on

He reached home and he knows she will be home by now. He already bought food for both of them. He grabbed a plate in kitchen and went to room. He saw her sleeping and slowly waked her.

"Avni.. " He called her slightly waking her. He can understand she is tired but he is waking her so that she can eat.

She stirred in sleep.

"Avni.. Wake up..You have to eat" He said to her sitting beside her on the bed.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him and sat on the bed.

"Where were you?.. I was starving! " She said in a sleepy tone.

"Sorry ... I got stucked up with some work.... " He said serving her and gave the plate to him while she started having her dinner.

"How did your meeting went? " He asked her while she looked at him.

"We cracked the deal...We got the permit to proceed with the designs Neil" She smiled munching her food while her eyes shows the excitement which made Neil smile.

" Have you had dinner? " She asked him just realising that she is the only one eating.

"Nope.. I will eat later.. You.. " Before he could complete she kept a spoonful of food infront of his mouth.

"Have it... It's Yummy than the food you make.. " She said annoying him while he made a straight face and have it from her.

"Huh.. You just order it daily.. Don't ask me to make anything.. " He twisted his lips while Avni laughed.

He just took a tissue and wiped her mouth as she smudged some food near her mouth.

"You better hire a baby sitter.. " He complained nodding his head in disbelief seeing her eating like a baby.

"I guess.. I have one.. " She bit her lips to hold her laugher looking at him.

"Who? " He didnt understand her words quickly but his mind got processed later on.

"Seriously? " He rolled his eyes and looked at her with his one brow raised and left to get freshen up while she started to laugh.

He came back while he saw her already dozed off.

"She must be tired.. " He smiled and covered her fully with duvet and left taking dishes. He had his dinner and came back to his room taking his laptop.
He sat on the couch and opened to work on it.

Flashback

"Nice meeting you Mr. John..I will mail you the details " He ended the meeting quickly with a handshake. And looked at watch.

"Shit!.. She must have been home... Does she have anything? " He thought and called her phone.

All these time, he was with her, he notices she is a foodie and she can't control her hunger. Her mood will totally collapse if she is hungry.

She didn't pick his call while he sighed.
He quickly bought food for both of them and left to home.

Neil's pov

I.. I never thought... I could end up my meeting in a hurry just to buy her food... I was workholic and everyone knows it...I never been like this... I always ran away from commitments.

Flashback

"I couldn't make it because.. I had my work.. " Neil said to his girlfriend who he dated in Paris.

" Seriously.. Then why the hell you told me we could go on a date? " She asked in anger.

" Okay.. Sorry.. Just don't make it a issue.. " He said to her

"Issue?.. You know what?.. Let's just break up... I can't do this anymore... I must understood when you told me You can't keep up your commitment.. " She said to him and left taking her bag.

Flashback ends

I like to irritate her.. Annoy her... Cook for her... Her eyes pops when she finds it yummy... I didn't know when did she become important?.. I never cared for anyone....I have always put myself first... But then why her?... No Neil.. Just few more months more... Then when your jobs here gets completed... You will again move back to Paris... Then everything will fall in place...

He nodded his head to concentrate and continued to work on his laptop.
