The Next Morning

She woke up and still she feels her head was collapsing and feels so heavy. She sat on the bed and hold her head regretting trying alcohol in first place.

"I know it... That's isn't my cup of tea! " She said and wants to hit her past self.

"Avni.. Is this something new?... You always do something that you always regret! " She cursed herself as this isn't the first time that something she regrets.

She heard the sound of clicking door and turned her head to see Riya who after getting freshen up.

"You up already? " She asked her who nodded barely.

"I thought you won't wake up till noon! " She said to her remembering her condition yesterday.

"Why did you let me drink that much? " She glared at her.

"Oh Miss!.. I tried to stop you many times but you stopped only in vain... Thanks to my friend that he took you safely to me.. Otherwise what would have happened! " She said to her while Avni furrowed her brows hearing her.

"Friend??.. He?? " She tried to remember but in vain. She shrugged it off.

"Yesss!!....My Paris Friend?...Don't you remember him?... " She said while Avni nodded her head negatively and got up to get freshen up.

Later on

They both headed downstairs for breakfast where they already saw their friends.

"Hey.. " Somebody's hand wrapped around Riya while Avni turned after hearing his deep voice.

She looked at them who were having a chat. Avni didn't remember seeing him. His eyes met hers while Avni furrowed her brows as that gaze felt similar to her.

"Ah.. Avni.. This is that friend of mine.." Riya said to her.

"Ohh..Hi..I am Avni.. " Her trance got broken and she introduced herself.

"I am Neil.. " He said to her while she nodded but still was staring at him trying to recognize him. While Riya left after Ali called her.

"Thank You.. For helping me yesterday.. " She said while he nodded and casually slid his hands in his pocket.

"Hope I didn't bothered you much! " She said and gave him a smile and about to go but stopped when he heard him speaking.

"I doubt that! " He said to her while Avni furrowed her brows. She found him straightforward.

"Ohh then Sorry for the trouble! " She said to him and left.

"Only Sorry?.. Do you have plans today?.. What about buying me a Coffee? " He asked her following her who was picking her breakfast in the buffet.

She turned towards him.

"I heard that you are from Paris.. " She said while he nodded.

" It might be easy for you to flirt there.. But not to me!. You are not my type! " Avni frankly said to him while Neil chuckled hearing her. She glared at him and turned to go but stopped when he again spoke.

"I heard that you are going to engage!.. And I am not that type to hit on engaged girl... By the way.. Congratulations on your wedding... I will be here for 6 months... Please do invite me to your wedding.. " He said to her openly looking at her while Avni glared at him and left from there.

"She is something!! " He thought looking at her.

They checked out the resort and everyone planned to go roam around the place. But Avni passed the plan as she has some work to do and she was going back.

"Avni... Can you drop Neil in his place please?? " Riya asked her.

"Actually.. Ali's car was given to get repaired... So we are taking Neil's car ... You are going home and Neil too wanted to go home as he couldn't able to join with us too.. " She added further.

"Fine! " She said to them in not so interested tone.

They started after bidding bye to them.

" I know you are not interested in dropping me" He spoke surfing through his phone.

"I am glad that you know " Avni spoke back driving. While Neil laughed.

" We are not really for each other, are we? "He asked looking at her.

" Is there any doubt?.. " She spat back quickly.

"But I like the way how bold you are! " He said to her.

"Don't compliment me.. That doesn't suit you! "

"Hey.. That was a serious compliment.. I really meant that.. " He said in genuine tone while Avni looked at him and continued driving.

At noon

She dropped him in his place.

"One for one... " She said and Neil understood as she meant their help for each other.

"Let's not meet again! " She said closing the back seat door after when he took his bag.

"Don't you invite me to your wedding!.. Oh that's hurts! " He said in a dramatic way while Avni glared at him and sat on the car

"He is such a annoying fellow.. Ahh!.. I hate him really " She said looking at him in rear view mirror. While Neil smiled remembering her irritated face.

At evening

Avni was waiting in a hotel for someone. She was tapping her leg on the ground.
While someone came and and tapped her shoulder while Avni looked up.

"Hey!!.. " He said smiling at her while Avni didn't said anything.

"I am sorry na baby.. I couldn't join you for Riya's birthday party...I was so busy" He said holding her hand.

"Vidyut... Where were you busy yesterday? " She asked him.

"In office.. " He replied while Avni splashed a glass of water straight on his face.

"You are such a cheater... I know everything.... Every single thing about your affair ... " She shouted while everyone looked at them.

"If not for my family.. I would have never agree to this! " She said clutching her fist tightly.

"Ohh Hello!! ... That's not me who approach first... It was your father.... You have always been denying the wedding and he got afraid that you will never get married... That's why he wants to tie you up with me...And No one is gone marry you other than me Avni...You have already rejected everyone..and only one left is me..and you have no other choice too. " He said to her while Avni's eyes welled up with tears and her anger just reached its peak.

" I dare I will get marry but it won't be you.. " She said gritting her teeth and turned to see everyone looking at them.

She just want to disappear from the moment. That gaze of everyone felt very uncomfortable to her and she feels like the floor sweeping away from her as teary eyes made everything blurred. She feels like she could run and hide somewhere. She was about to take her first step but stopped when someone hugged her tightly embracing her while she just hid her face under the muscular chest. She don't know but she felt really comfortable in the embrace. She just feel like she got a shelter to hide herself for sometime. Untill she pull herself back. Her trance got broken when she missed his warmth. She lifted her face to look at that man who comforted her. Avni was quite surprised by the person who was standing in front of her.
