It's been 10 in the morning, Neil woke up from his sleep and found the bed to be empty. It's not like he had a deep slumber but he indeed he had a good sleep. He sat on the bed rubbing his eyes and stretched himself. He then remembered every thing that happened yesterday and sighed.

" She would have mistaken me..?!" He was doubtful as well as like sure.

"She would have left for work... Should I call her? " He thought taking his phone.

"Ahh No!...She must be busy..."

"Atleast i can message her right?!..." He said making a thinking face.

"What if she finds me clingy " He said and took a deep breath.

"Never mind.. " He kept the phone on the bed and left to freshen up.

Whereas on the other hand.

Avni was continuosly looking at her phone despite the meeting that was going on.

"Avni.. Are you okay? " Asked her team head while she looked at him and nodded giving a nervous smile.

Later on

She sat on her seat.

"Argh!.. Why don't he message me? " She said glaring at her phone.

"This is irritating.... " She said and sighed.

"Am I behaving like a typical Wife.. " She asked herself making a thinking face.

"Ahh.. Come on Avni... Not at all..You are not a wifey Material...and Ego shouldn't be your trait... He was not okay yesterday and it's okay to message him first... " She said and took her phone to message him.

"Wait!.. What if he finds me clingy... " She said and took a deep breath.

"This won't work...I want to concentrate on my work.." She said and switched her phone off and kept it in her bag.

Later on

In Evening, Neil ended his call after the meeting and took his phone surfing through it walking on his bedroom.
He hit on the table and the photo frame of them fell and it got broken.

He bend down to took the frame and saw it was completely broken. He don't why, he doesn't feel good.

He sat on the bed and removed the glass from the frame and just stared at their Picture.

"I don't believe in these kinds of sentiments... But why am I feeling uneasy?... Is it... Is it something going to happen to her?... To us?... Us?... Is it okay to call 'Us'?... Aren't we meant just for shorter time?... " He thought staring at their Picture and caressed her Picture.

He took his phone and was calling her wanted to hear her voice badly while her phone was switched off making him frown. He again tried calling her but the response were same.
....

"You said.. You will be going sooner than the usual time.. But why didn't you go... " Saisha asked her while Avni was lost.

"Avni? " She shaked her while Avni's trance got broken.

" Huh? " She asked giving a fake smile.

" You said you will be going sooner ... But you are leaving in as usual time ? " She asked her again.

"Ahh... I thought.. I should not skip work... Like.. Yeahh.. " She just blabbered to her while Saisha looked at her confused.

Avni and Saisha looked at their colleague who went with her boyfriend.

"Kaash... I too have a boyfriend... " Saisha said while Avni chuckled hearing her.

"You better confess to your crush sooner before he also get someone.. " She teased him as she knows she have a crush on one of their colleague KK.

"Avni!" She rolled her eyes.

" Why isn't Neil Coming ah?.. I bet you would have told him not to come right?!.. As he is handsome... " Saisha nudged her shoulder while Avni looked at her when she told he is Handsome.

"He is! ..." She flipped her hair as like she is Proud.

" He is Busy by the way... " She said to her looking down on the road while walking out of the Office.

"You said he is busy.. " Saisha told her
While Avni looked at her who is looking straight. Avni followed her gaze and find Neil standing there waiting for her.

Avni just stood looking at him while Neil suddenly turned his gaze and saw her looking at him.

She started running towards him happily seeing him came to pick her up while he also did the same and stood in front of each other.

"Why didn't you pick my call... " He asked her in anger behaving like a typical husband.

"Your phone was switched off... " He added further frowning.

"Are you worried? " She asked him looking at his eyes.

"Ofc.. I am... " He said to her giving her *are you serious look *.

She just hugged him making him startle for a minute.

"Sorry... " She said while he just hugged her back.

Flashback

It's been evening.

Avni wanted to home early check on him. She took her phone and switched it on and found No Messages of him which made her frown. She clicked on his Profile Picture.

"Huh?... You.. You are so... Argh! " She said looking at the Picture

She shrug it off and kept the phone on the table and started packing her stuffs and unintentionally her phone fell down and the screen got broken.

She pick it up and saw his Picture which has lots of crack and within a second her phone got off.

Avni started feeling something in her heart. She don't know why she felt sad and her mood was completely off. She then dropped the plan of going home and continued working to distract herself.

Flashback ends

She broke the hug and looked at him.

" Shall we go for a long drive? " They asked in unison while Neil looked at her.

"What about your car? " He asked her.

"I can take it tomorrow... " She told him while he nodded.

....

They got down and was walking on the beach. The Ride was so silent and they were sitting on the beach silently. Avni feels little cold so she started squeezing her hands together.

Neil removed his jacket and made her wear it while she looked at him.

"Avni!!!..It's a winter time... You need to put on heavy clothes... Kya yaar... " He complained to her.

" You always nag at me Neil.. " She said to him while he nodded his head in disbelief.

"Ohh.. I won't tell anything from now on!" He twisted his lips crossing his hands across his chest making her chuckle.

"I.. I was afraid.. " He said looking straight while Avni looked at him.

"Afraid? " She asked in confusion.

"Afraid that.. You will misunderstand me.. After what happened yesterday... " He said to her looking at her eyes.

She hold his hand and before she could say, he spoke.

" I thought that's why... You didn't attend my call.." He added further.

" Not at all Neil... Why would I?... After all.. I am the one... Who insisted.. " She told him while he smiled looking at her.

She caressed her thumb on his back of his hand.

"Ouch... " Avni started rubbing her eyes as the wind was chilling and something has gotten in her eyes.

While Neil hold her hand and cupped her cheeks on his other hand making her to look at him. He blow air on her eyes while Avni started feeling something in her tummy. She was just staring at him and his cold hand on her cheek sends chills down her spine.

"Okay now? " He asked her looking at her who was already staring at him.

They were looking into each other and the air becomes thinner around them. 
Their breath was fanning against each other while her heart beats gets uneven. Their face gets an inch close getting carried away in the moment. Some memories came like flash and she moved in an instant looking down making his trance got broken.

"Ohh shit!... What were you going to do Neil?! " Neil cursed himself looking away.

"Wh... What was that?... Why.. I felt like this Happened before Between us... Did... We... Kissed...? " She was lost in her thoughts as when she felt him close she felt like it have happened between them.

"Come on Avni!.. How can that happen?... And what were you doing just before?... Kiss?.. Avni!! " She cursed herself shrugging off her thoughts while shuting her tightly.

"I guess... We should go! " Neil said to her while she opened her eyes and nodded not looking at him.
