Neil was buttoning his shirt while he heard the clicking sound of washroom door and he turned to find her in Red Saree. He gasped looking at her. It was the first time she wore saree after their wedding. She came out drying her hair with towel.

"Huhmm.. " He cleared his throat gaining her attention.

"What?... I have got ready quickly today" She twisted her lips thinking that he did that to taunt for being late.

He looked at her and started moving near her while she looked at him and started moving back not understanding his intention. She was about to fall while moving back while he hold her by her waist and she hold his shoulder for support.

His intense gaze was looking at her eyes while she did the same. He hold the corner of her towel and took it closer to face and wiped her kajal which got slightly smudged near her eyes.

"I can see.. You got ready in a hurry.. " He said to her while she was just looking at him. Her heart was beating faster. He moved his face closer to her making her breath uneven while she closed her eyes.

"You look beautiful.. " He whispered in her ears and moved back. While Avni came back to her sense and saw him already looking at her

"Did... Did ...you just flirt? " She said looking here and there and turned towards her table to get ready.

"Huh?!.. It's called as Compliment... " He said to her and nodded his head in disbelief. While Avni was getting ready as like she didn't heard him.

They reached down to find Aashish, Riya and Ali. Avneil greeted everyone. His expression changed when he saw Shwetha and Prakash who just arrived.

"Mummy jii.. Papa ji..Please come " Avni welcomed them while Neil stood glaring at them.

"Happy Birthday Neil.. " Shwetha and Prakash said to him while he looked away. She gave him a present while he looked at Avni and Aashish and just took it from her without saying anything.

Avni arranged the table and Neil cut another cake. Avni presented him with a Watch while Neil thanked her. They were chit chating with one another. While Neil was at the door step having a call. He sooner put off the call and turned to find Aashish. Neil gave him a smile.

"Neil beta... I am so happy seeing her happy... " He looked at Avni who was happily talking with others.

"I have always been worried of her... When she told me she loves you... I had to give it a lots of thought...You know as a single parent... " He said to him.

"I understand Uncle.. " He said to him giving him a warm smile.

"She never told me like that before... Like that she loves someone.... She always says that she wants to remain like this always without getting married at all... But you changed her heart... " He said while Neil looked at Aashish and then Avni.

"I hope you two remain happy as always.. please take care of her..." He said to him holding his hand.

"I will Uncle.. " He said to him nodding his head.

"What you two were doing here? " Avni asked them as she came towards them.

"We were just talking.. " Aashish said to her while she gave a suspicious look.

" Papa.. Let's have dinner.. " She said to him and was looking at Neil. While he nodded

"Were you just complaining about me? " She asked him once Aashish left them.

"Wow.. Why I didn't get this idea... I have lots of complain about you.. Uncle Wait..we need to talk " He acted like he is trying to call Aashish and left making Avni pout.

Later on

Everyone had dinner and Aashish, Riya and Ali left. Neil just came back from his room to find Avni talking with Shwetha and Prakash. He just dropped the gift which they gave to him on the table in front of him.

Everyone looked at him hearing the noise.

"Take you gift and leave .. " He said to them while Avni stood up.

"Neil.. " She came near him.

"Why you both came here?... Why today? .. " He asked him while his eyes were red in anger. Prakash and Shwetha stood up and looked at him with teary eyes.

"Neil.. What are you talking? " Avni tried to stop him.

"Please Avni.. Don't try to stop me.. And ask them to leave... " He said to her.

"Neil puttar... " Shwetha was about to speak.

"Ohh Please... I am not up for any of the drama ... " Neil stopped her.

" You don't have to come here as I am your son... Moreover I was mistake right?! " Neil spoke while they had a guilt on their face.

"Neil.. You go to your room.. " She said to him holding his hand.

"Not today Avni... I want them to be gone.. " He said to her shrugging her hand.

"Neil.. I am saying na.. Go.. " She said to him while he looked at her and left.

"I am sorry Mummy Ji and Papa ji.. He is just... " Before Avni could say Prakash interrupted.

"Nahi Puttar  ... His anger is justified.. " He said and they soon left.

She went to their room and saw Neil sitting on the couch.

" Neil... This is not the way to treat your parents.. " She said to him coming near him.

" You don't know anything Avni.. " He said to her and stood up looking at her.

"Yess I don't know anything... But you can't hurt them like that... They are your parents.. " She said to him.

"They are not Avni... And what about the hurt they gave me..? " He asked holding her by arms while his eyes were all teary Avni just looked at him. She cupped his face caressing his cheeks gently.

" I don't want them.. I don't want them in my life... " He said to her nodding his head negatively.

While Avni just embraced him caressing his back. While Neil just hugged her back tightly.

"Okay... Okay... " She said to him while he was still hugging her.

She broke the hug and made him sit on the bed. Avni just a poured water in the glass and gave it to him while he gulped it down. She was just looking at him as she was seeing him breaking down for the first time.

Avni hold his hand making him look at her.

"I only invited them.. " She said to him while he silently looked at her.
