I turned to look at his father which appears cold the whole time, even now and didn't take it to heart. He rarely speak unless it was extremely important thing to say.

"I'm praying for you to be well again, Nii-san." Sasuke bid his farewell to me.

"Of course he will. He'll be back only after he's in a hood health again." Finally, father is talking again.

I can see a tint of sadness in mother's eyes but, I should go now. I waved my hand at them one last time before entering the airport. Today is the day that I will leave this country and start my treatment in Hong Kong. It may consume times so father already registered me into an international school there.

After arriving there, a guy the same age as me greeted me in Japanese, saying his name is Shen Yuan and would be my housemate from now on. I never thought father willing to even 'buy' someone to be friend with me. Of course, he was hired by father and I'm actually grateful to have him as my friend as he's a nice guy and he loves to talk but also not annoying.

We live together, go to school together and he even helps me to learn Mandarin which is not that hard for me. I was taught this as my second language since I was 5 so...it doesn't take much time until I can speak it fluently.

The time flies by slowly when we are missing someone and that is true for sure. While being in a foreign country, I can't help but missing my family and... (y/n). I hope she's still waiting for me and I can't wait to beg for her forgiveness for suddenly disappear like that.

It's been 7 years now and I've finally finished my study to become a detective, of course Shen Yuan tagging along with me while consorting me for my treatment weekly.

"Say, do you really want to be a police when you go back to Japan? I mean, your family runs a big business..." Shen Yuan asked out of curiosity as he is also a manager on Uchiha company branch in here.

"Why not become a doctor because your family have a hospital here and in Japan too, right?"

That's right, it's all started with Shisui who were so eager to become a police and he's the one who told me about our family's conspiracy. Of course he wants justice to reveal the crime because his late father is one of the victim too... Even the one who carries the same blood go for each other's throat...

"Oh, I think I get it. Well, I think it suits you too, Uchiha." Shen Yuan told me before he switched on the tv.

"Thanks, Shen Yuan. I think it is you who suits to become a doctor rather than following me around like this."

"It makes me guilty somehow... I mean, you must have your own ambition that you want to achieve in your 20's, right?"

"Uchiha...stop it..." Shen Yuan sighed after being pushed by me.

He came from a poor family and hardly attending school because of his poverty. It's true that Hong Kong is city for the rich, and that's why who doesn't suit the title lives a hard life here.

Shen Yuan's mother is gravely ill and is one of the patient in the hospital owned by the Uchiha. He can't afford the expenses and luckily, he was recruited by the Uchiha and now, his mother can receive the treatment she deserve. But for the payment, Shen Yuan lost his dreams, even though his pay from the Uchiha is very high, it doesn't make him happy for sure.

"Sorry but, after I go back, I want you to chase your dreams, Shen Yuan. Don't make me as a wall that confined you. Again, I'm so sorry." I apologize to him.

He thinks about it for a moment while running his fingers through his black hair. His handsome face and pale skin is such a waste for spending his whole time with me. He should have a girlfriend with this look.

"I think...I should because I have a lot of payment for doing this job so I think it is more than enough for my study..." He said timidly.

"Why not start now? Use whatever you have now and don't worry, I will never tell my family about this. Just chase your dream while you can. You want your mother to see you succeed too, right?" I want to persuade him.

"B-But.."

"You can trust my words, Shen Yuan. You already the biggest help for me." I patted his shoulder to channel some confidence in him.

We then watch the news on tv and it was a very interesting one.

"The owner of a recently bankrupt company is caught for bribery and human trafficking. The police also found 5kg of drugs in the company and now all the employers are detained for questioning.

It was said that this company goes bankrupt in one night and no one can locate where all the company shares and money go."

"This is the third time this kind of thing happens, right?" Shen Yuan voiced out.

I felt it was a bid odd too but somehow, a good one.

I nodded at him, "Before, it was the company who did slavery and human trafficking and the first one is also about bribery and illegal prostitution..."

"Uchiha, don't you think there might be someone behind this that wants to tear the evil' mask?" Shen Yuan's eyes are already glimmering with excitement. He loves to read crime novel and that's why he's so passionate in this kind of things.

"That's more absurd, you know?" He clicked his tongue before stomping his feet to the kitchen.

"Shen Yuan! We're out eggs and-"

"We don't have any rice left?!!!" He suddenly burst into the living room while tugging on my collar.

"Yeah... Wait- I thought there's still some for today..."

"I finished it last night..." He said while slowly let go of me before stepping a step behind. "Ooppss..."

I shook my head, already knew about this because who else would it be? It's just the two of them here and if it's him, it must be Shen Yuan and you can't argue about it anymore.

"It can't be helped then..." I stand up and stretch my back a bit before looking at him again. "Let's take a bite out."

"Sure but let me perform my prayer first." Shen Yuan said before rushing to the bathroom and perform his wudhu'.

I didn't now about this before but when I accidentally entered his room while he's praying, I just knew that he's a Muslim. It amazing on how he always put his God over everything. And because of that, I always remind myself to buy the meats and chickens from the halal shop and never touch pork.

He always respect me and that's why I'm doing the same for him. Plus, he's my best friend. And after he finished his prayer, we will go to the halal restaurant together.

Arriving there, we ordered our food and as always, Shen Yuan will start the conversation but this time, I don't know where does this topic comes from.

"Uchiha, do you have a girl you admire back then?"

I chocked on my water and I almost lost my eyes in the process.

"That answers why you want to go back badly..." He chuckles while drinking his water.

"You-"

"Then...it must be a painful longing, right?" He continues to say some absurd words but...well... He's right.

"How about you?" I asked him back.

"Well, I do have this girl who always help me when I'm in school and all. My religion is a minority here so the difficulties are always there... But she always help me."

He's the same as me.

Shen Yuan continues, "I kinda like her and I...even thought that she's my fate and all but our biggest gap is always our religion. I mean...yeah..."

For me, our biggest fence that keep us away is our family at first and... distance now.

"And then she got sick and I was told she's already in stage 4 of brain cancer and there's nothing the doctor could do."

"Do you ever confess to her? Or being in relationships with her?" I asked because I'm also an idiot when it comes about love.

"No and being in relationships like being a couple is not allowed in Islam so nope. But I always have her in my prayers, hoping she will be better." He said with confidence this time.

"You can't... couple? Is that really possible?"

"Of course! It's too make sure that both the girl and the guy is pure. If you love someone, just meet up with her family and marry her. And that's how halal relationship is."

"I don't understand... How will you know her that she's the right person for you?" I asked him.

"How, huh... That's quite difficult but I think it is all in our heart. If we love her, even in a fight, we will always try our best to forgive each other. Like I said, his words are always weird but at the same time very smart. It's true that when we already in marriage, we will try our best, even best to settle any problems that occur. And about that vow...I see no lie in it.

"I also read about this before and it said that you can't touch a girl's hand and that same goes to girls, is that right?" I asked him again.

Then, our food is here and Shen Yuan who has a very large appetite begin to eat after saying his prayer. He never talk while eating and he eats not so fast buy not slow either. Whatever he do is very pleasant to see.

After eating, we stroll around the city to help our digestion and we continue about our topic just now.

"Then, is the girl okay now?" I asked.

He smiled but it was a painful one. "Her suffering ended when we were 17, not long before you came here."

"I-I'm sorry..."

"How about you, Uchiha? There must be someone you like and I bet you never touch a girl because of your allergy, right?" He said while grinning energetically.

"You never touch a girl too, Shen Yuan."

"And I am proud of it."

I chuckled, he's sure is a nice guy. "There is this one girl. She... I don't how to describe but she kinda help me too. Not from bully but from her words and her existence...I felt loved."

"Now that's cool, man."

"And, I always thought that I'm a weakling since I can't touch but after hearing from you... Maybe... I want to touch her, no matter what."

Shen Yuan makes a hideous face, "Calm down, Uchiha... That sounds perv you know."

"No... I mean. When I go back there, I want to marry her and touch her in a good way... That's what I meant..." I said while feeling the burn in my cheeks.

Shen Yuan smiles at me pat me shoulder. "A good deed shall never be delay. It's a good thing and I support you from here, gege."

"Thanks, Yuan..." Sometimes, he will call me gege which is older brother in Mandarin and I'm always fine with it. He really feels like a brother to me.

"That girl must be lucky to have you, gege!"

"Zhao Yun! I'm hungry! Let's go find something to eat!"

A girl who was calling for her friend passed beside me and the whole world is moving so slow. I had a chance to take a glimpse at her face and I almost trip over an air.

"Sure, boss!" A rather tall man walks quickly, chasing after her and for some reason she stopped, maybe to wait for that Zhao Yun guy.

I look at her again and my eyes rounded.

At the same time, our eyes locked together for a few seconds before she turned around and walk away.

"Gege? Uchiha? Are you okay?"

"Hhmm? (y/n)? Who's that?"

I finally came back to him and push away all those thoughts. That girl just now really seems extremely similar to (y/n). Her voice, her hair and even that cute height of her...

No way. This is way too far from Tokyo and there's no way that is her. Besides, that girl is speaking Mandarin.

"Who? Who's that? I don't know anyone named (y/n)..." I said to him and walk in front of him.

He quickly follow my pace and told me, "That girl just now, the way she speaks is similar to you."

"What do you mean?" He's in his goofy mood now.

"I'm pretty sure she has japanese slang with her. Maybe she's a tourist from Japan!"
