You glance at the vacant seat next to your desk and sighed. Is he absent again today?

Then, the front door slide open and your homeroom teacher come in. After greeting and bowed to respect him, he take the attendance and after that, he said he has a shocking news to announce to the whole class.

You really didn't think much about this since this must be about the exam results. Whether its good or bad, that is only the case of teachers are making such announcement like this. Not just you who think like this, in fact the whole class have the same mind like you regarding this.

"Unfortunately..."

The whole class start to become gloomy. With the word 'unfortunately' came out first, its clear enough that the results is bad now. No one want to take it too seriously from now on.

"...our friend, Uchiha Itachi has moved to China yesterday. So, he will be no longer with us."

The whole class were silent. Even the silence is very loud right now. You already predicted this but why do you still shocked after hearing this? Oh, it must be because you want to believe that he was only joking around two days ago. Yeah, but now... it's the truth. The bitter one that you couldn't even swallow it.

Your mouth felt dry and your eyes felt so hot. Your breath started to hitch, the world that you grew up in feels so different. It is as if this is not the same world that you've known now. It felt so alienate!

You stood up from your seat, unable to hold it in anymore. The whole class look at you but your face was down the whole time, you want to speak but your voice just won't come out.

"(y/n)- I mean...(y/n)-san? Is something bothering you?" Your homeroom teacher asked and he moved closer to your desk. He's your father so he had a hunch on what's going on.

"I-I need to go to the restroom, sensei..." Your voice crack, it's embarrassing but that doesn't matter now. Your eyes felt so hot that it almost sweating.

Your teacher, Kakashi sighed and give you the permission. You quickly dashed out of the class, not to the restroom but you went on the rooftop. Not knowing why you went there but your body moved on it's on.

When you're already on the rooftop, you fell on your knees bawling your eyes out. After what he told you, he left just like that?! What the hell is wrong with him?!

You cried like crazy, scream like crazy. This place is a bit isolated so no one will know, and no one will come here at this moment for sure. After a while, no more tears came out but you felt empty. Not knowing what you should right now.

You stood up and look down from there, "What a beautiful day..." You murmured to yourself. You look at the front gate, it's closed now. That same goes with the back gate. You observe the wall that surrounds the school for a while, making a bit calculation in your head. Tall but maybe you can climb over it. Yeah, you were used to climbing trees when you were a little child. How long has it been since then? Are you really going to make it over the fence while wearing a skirt right now? Then, what will you do if you manage to jump over?

"Heh..." You laughed maniacally and covered your eyes with your palm. "What a pathetic thinking... (y/n), (y/n)... You're in Tokyo, Shibuya. There's plenty of thing to do!"

After having your mind fixed, you decided to skip school, jumping out of the fence and loiter around alone. After the school end, retrieve your bag and go back home. Easy.

You quickly went downstairs, cautiously not to be caught, constantly look left and right, in front and behind you. After considered everything is fine, you quickly went to fence and jumped as high as you can and you managed to grab a tight hold on the fence while your body is dangling down. You look around one last time, perfect. Even the security guard us not here. You pull your body up and jumped above the fence before you leap down, somehow manage to land smoothly on the ground.

You quickly walk away from there and just in time to hop in the bus before it closed the door. You smiled and take a seat. You noticed that almost every passenger in that bus is eyeing you like you're the most wanted criminal. You know why, it's because of your school uniform. Eventhough wearing school uniform is one of a fashion icon Japan, it is still considered as weird that a schoolgirl suddenly ride a bus during school hour.

Well, ignored them anyway. After a few stops, you finally decided to hop off here. You saw a clothing shop and because it is autumn, there tons of jacket and hoodie that are on sale. You peered your purse, nice! Your savings are more than enough to grab a new jacket.

You quickly entered and casually grab a blue zipped hoodie and brought it to the counter and paid it. You don't need a paper bag for that as you just wear it straight on your uniform. Now, it's cool to walk around without having a mind if anyone is eyeing you.

You walk around without having a specific direction, buying a cone of ice cream and sit on the bench at park, staring at the pigeons playing at the fountain, it is a beautiful day. Not long after that, a black crow landed on your shoulder which scared you entirely.

You held back a scream but chased it away but somehow, it still wants to be by your side. You look at this weird intently then your mind light up.

"Oh! You're Kurosuke from before, right?"

This crow is the one who scared you to death back then and then Itachi...hug you... Your smile turned into a frown again. "That is the first time I noticed that I actually like him..."
You look at the indifferent bird and raised an eyebrow at it. This crow is no different than any other crow but since he lives at the Art Club room for a few while before running away and never come back, you still can remember this creature.

You quickly finished your ice cream and that crow hop on your shoulder once again. You smiled at him and patted his head gently. Why do you know that Kurosuke is male? Well, it's biology class for sure.

You told him to fly away but he refused. He still want to stick around with you, so what can you do about it? People will point there finger saying that you're weird again. This time, if any grandma saw you walking around with a black crow on your shoulder, they will say you're a witch or even a bad omen. Tch, those old thinking are very far from age now.

You decided to ignore everyone's perspective for now and walk around once again to waste your time. When you're near food stalls, Kurosuke flew towards a certain stall. To your surprise, this crow is heading to the stall which sell dango. This unexpected event made you remember about someone. Who else if it is not Itachi?

Itachi is the one who found this little crow and the crow's feather remind you at Itachi's raven hair which is so silky and smooth. And now, Kurosuke is heading towards a stall which sell Itachi's favourite food. Hanami Dango.

"Perfect. Everything reminds me of him now." You mumbled while making a way towards the stall and bought three sticks of dango. You made your way towards an empty gazebo and sat there while Kurosuke is still tailing you, flying behind you. You chuckle seeing him and put down a stick of dango.

Kurosuke landed and quickly peck that dango to eat them. You let out a laugh, "Even you loves dango, huh?" You said while munching on the dango that was in your hand. Feeling boring, you look around and there is no one around because this is a working day and it's just past lunchtime so it's logic that this park has no one around.

You took this chance to talk randomly with Kurosuke. If anyone sees you right now, they will surely shook their head and sighed 'poor child' before left you alone there. Well, you're not in the mood to care if someone is pointing their finger noting that you're crazy. It was them who is crazy enough to say someone is crazy for fun.

Suddenly, a group of three guys who are wearing school uniform came towards your direction and laugh at you.

"Pathetic b*tch! What a waste of a beauty face if she's crazy!" One of them laugh even louder.

You look at them like they are crazy and ignore them, rolling your eyes and look away. "Stupid."

"Hey! Watch your language, b*tch!"

You glare at them and they took one step back. Maybe they can feel it via instinct that you're actually a handful girl as well.

"Hmm...that glare made you more beautiful, miss. Are you alone?" A guy who had a piercing at his left ear asked and he really sit next to you.

After this guy who seems to be the leader of the three made his first move, the other two took a seat as well and you feel disgusted with them.

"Go away..." You told them.

"What if I say...I don't want to?" The burly looking guy said mockingly at you and started to snake his arm around your shoulder.

You can't take it anymore and twist his arm before slamming your knee right in his face. "Don't say I never warned you..." You growled.

That burly guy groaned while covering his nose which is dripping with a string of blood. Unable to speak, he just making a few sounds that shows that he's angry.

He charged at you and easily dodge him and trip him off with your feet. "Oops, watch your steps, Onii-chan."

The other two just laughed watching that burly guy rolled on the ground, not having any intention to help him up. They then look at your direction, "Nee-san, you're quite tough aren't you? Of you still have a lot of stamina, why don't we fool around at a-"

Without having a chance to finish his word, a kick sent him down from where he was sitting, kissing the ground. You're not in the mood to laugh right now and they came at the exact right time. This is clearly satisfying.

The other guy was so angry after his leader was knocked down like that. He charged at you, aiming to kick your leg, "You!"

You leaped, dodging his sweep kick and kick his chin making him look at the sky before sending another kick, still in midair at his left cheek making him kiss the pillar that is supporting the gazebo at his side.

The leader seems like he didn't get enough and lunge at your direction, hugging your waist, wanting to slam you down but you quickly smack your elbow behind his back very hard and sent another elbow at his cheek. He lost his balance and you punched him in face, making the other side of his face planted at the gazebo pillar.

The burly guy seemed like wanted to try his luck out but after watching his friends being knocked down by a girl, other than embarrassing, he's terrified. He knew won't hold even slightest chance to win against you now. With his smart brain, he just look at you, gulping, unable to stand up back again.

You sneered at them and walked away from there. Your mood for being there is gone now. Thanks to that bunch of witty thugs.

"You really still wanna stay to study, Deidara?

Deidara look up to glance at his boyfriend and nod his head. "If Danna wanna go back home first, go ahead. I can go back on my own."

"No. I'll wait here with you." Sasori said, dragging a chair and sit in front of Deidara.

"It's fine, danna. It's really fine."

Suddenly, a girl, a first year, maybe... Came and said, "Umm, Akasuna-senpai? Can you follow me for a second?"

Sasori was dumbfounded, Deidara didn't really care and quickly went back into his work. Writing some notes in his notebook, being so serious in his study.

Sasori took a glance at Deidara bit Deidara just waved his hand, not even looking. "Just go, Danna. I'll spent some time here alone. I need it."

Sasori sighed and shrugged before following the junior out of the class.

Deidara was all alone in that class and the whole school seems to be in a deep silence, signing that the whole school is almost empty by now.

After being more than 1 hour studying alone, he suddenly heard a pair of footsteps coming from the corridor outside of his class. He glanced and saw that it was you who were walking alone on the corridor.

You noticed that the fan in this class is still spinning and look from the window. It was Deidara, studying alone.

You took a chance to speak a few words with him before going home.

"Deidara, you're not going home yet?" You asked him after sitting in front of him, crossing your legs in the process.

"No." He answered, looking at you for a single millisecond before continuing what he was doing.

"Are you... studying?" You asked while watching what he was writing. "Wait", you said while pointing on the text that he wrote just now.
"This one is wrong. It's supposed to be
leucocytes, not erythrocytes. Erythrocytes carries oxygen to whole body, not defensing the body from bacteria and virus."

Deidara look at what you are correcting him and look back in his textbook, sweat dropped. "Eh... that's weird. I thought it was reversed."

You chuckled and point your finger at the notes in his textbook. "Here, look. Erythrocytes are actually red blood cell while leucocytes are another name for white blood cell."

He nodded his head as a sign that he understands and look at you, grinning. "You're actually a very good person you know! Put aside that you skip school today, you're very good at helping someone who is very idiot like me!"

You chuckled nervously, "You caught me red handed there..." He just smile while writing the correct answer and constantly revising the textbook. You were feeling weird to see how he is studying very hard right now. He even wearing his spectacles which is he rarely wore it. It's like he is a different person now. You asked him, "Why are you studying, Deidara? I mean...we just finished our exam two weeks ago."

Deidara look at you with a very serious look on his face, pulling his glasses down a bit and said, "I don't want to disappoint my Kaa-chan."

You were taken aback after hearing that from him. You know him very well. He's the only child and not only that, he also have only one parent which is his mother. That's how you can be best friend with him for so long because he probably understands you very much since the two of you grew up with only one parent. Unlike you who manage to meet up with your mother once even after more than 17 years, he never even once meet his father. That's why he is very close with his mother and his greatest fear is to see his mother feels sad because of him. He's a very good guy.

No. It was more than that. He's amazing. A guy who put his mother first above all is truly amazing. Other people might mock him for being a mama's boy, especially the boys...but for you, he's amazing.

"So, when are you going back?" You ask him while watching him study.

"I...I don't actually know yet. But, you can go back first. I might stay here for a bit longer." He told you.

You just nod at him and went out of his class to get your school bag from your class. Then, you went to Deidara's class again and sit at where you sat before across him.

Deidara look at you like you're crazy, "What are you doing?"

You shrugged and point at his answer that he wrote just now. "Wrong."

"What?"

"It's osmosis."

"Wait, what?" Deidara quickly flipped his textbook again to check the answer.

You smile, "Here..." You then teach him some of the things that you are confident with in this subject. It's biology. You're not very good in it but you still pressing yourself to love this subject. That's why you could at least help Deidara out.

You helped Deidara with his study until the clock shows it was already 7pm before the two of you went back together. You were chatting along the way and laugh happily.

Suddenly, a strong arm yanked your bag, making you stumbled backward and both your hands were held behind your back firmly. You were unable to move your hands now.

"You guys seriously not joking?"

You heard the person who was holding you voiced out.

"No, Aniki! She tumbled us all! Don't be fooled by her small body."

This voice, you heard it somewhere before. Oh! It was those so called thugs! This was the leader from before.

You struggled really heard but his grip was so strong that you need to use a rough method. You kick his leg very hard,asking him stumbled to the front and gave him a very powerful headbutt. You can see he scrunches his face while groaning in pain, it seems his nosed is bleeding after the impact.

You quickly look at them and you were a bit surprised to see there was about 20 of them now. This is too much! You want to back away but another guy already take your hand a punch landed on your stomach, you gasped in pain. You want to attack them back they were too many and felt someone kick at the back of your head that makes your head rang and your vision become blurry. Unable to control your footing, you fell face first on the road, leaving a few scratches on your face.

"Heh, remember guys. She's a girl and we should be gentle with a girl. Come on, we may have our turn in this." Another said while yanking at your hair, grinning mischievously.

You were so angry that you laugh slightly and spit at his face. "Try me if you dare..."

He was so furious at you who humiliated him in front of his gang and landed a punch on your right cheek. He pulled your collar, forcing you to stand before slamming your head at the wall.

"Listen here, b*tch. I don't know what the f*ck is wrong with you but you're gonna get f*ck right now. So, just be quiet", he said in your ear and you can feel a hand rubbing your inner thigh.

This sudden attack made your scared and terrified that your body is trembling so much.

"Oho~ Trembling after just a single touch~"

You bit your lower lips and about to fight back when you heard a few curses and groans being your back. The guy who was pinning you suddenly let his grip loose and you finally can turn around to see what just what just happened.

To your surprise, two guys already lying on the ground, twitching while being unconscious.

"Hey, that's my friend over there. Do you really just gonna grab her away just like that while I'm still here?" Deidara asked them while grinning and underneath that grin hides a wicked plan. You can sense it.

One of the those guys quickly grab Deidara's collar and pulled him up from the ground. "What the heck is wrong with you, dude?!"

"Can I join the fun too?" He asked, smiling while his eyes were hidden from the light that is reflecting from his glasses which he's still wearing.

"A nerd like you?! How can you-" Missing his chance to finish his words as a very powerful punch strike on his his face, making the other side of his face slammed at the wall next to him.

You were shocked to see this, just...one hit and that guy is down.

Before you could react, the whole gang quickly surround Deidara and one by one fall from his attack. After making all of them fall in the ground in a very short time, he help you up and help you dust away your clothes.

He turned back to face those people who are all lying on the ground and warned them, "Whoever disturb my friend, I will make sure they pay. And if you're thinking on picking on her again, remember, you're the one who announced war with us, Tokyo Shocho gang."

Then, he walked with you away. You can see a few bruises and scratches on his face as he took off his glasses. He tuck that pair of spectacles at his shirt and look up. Under the sunset light with his long silky blonde locks, he really looks so pretty. After what you witness today, it improves your impression towards him more!

"You're so cool, Deidara!" You said to him.

"Of course. I'm the captain of the First Division of Tokyo Shocho gang. Being cool must be in my list." He said grinning proudly.

"Sorry for dragging you in..." You murmured.

"I don't have any problem facing those weaklings. By the way, let's go to my house! Oka-chan made me some bakudan onigiri last night! I want to give you some during the recess but you're not in the school so I ate it. It's been ages since you stopped at my place too!" He said, totally happy during this time.

He already helped you so you agree to follow him. After entering the house, Deidara quickly run to the fridge and rummage to find the onigiri.

"What?! There's only one left?! Ka-chan!" He screamed in frustration but no one can answer him because his mother is not yet at home. She's still working and will be back at 9 or even maybe 10. It sure is tough to become a single parent for sure, and this thought reminds you of your father.

He might be worried for you and if he found out that you skipped school, he must be really mad. Well, you already reconsidered this before and you decided to still fly away away from school.

"Um, Deidara. It's fine. I'm not that hungry. You can take that."

He looked at you, raising his eyebrow. "What do you mean? I'm the one who invited you over." He said before taking out the bakudan onigiri that wrapped entirely with seaweed. It looks fairly big, of course it's big! It has various of filling in it. Deidara put the plate containing the onigiri on the table and take a knife from the kitchen, cutting the onigiri in half.

You were surprised to see this since you know how Deidara loves bakudan so much. He still willing to share with you.

"See. We can split it." He said with his genuine smile plastered on that bruised face.

At that exact moment, your heart whispered something to you. "I want to follow his step."
