After enjoying the dinner, Itachi bought more dango from the nearby stall because the place you ate just now didn't sell dango. He surely can't live without his precious dango.

Both of you enjoyed watching some performance, playing mini games at the stalls and finally went to the beach where a lot of people were there as well. Both of you want to fly the lantern too.

"Do you want to write your wish, Itachi-kun?" You asked him.

"Sure." He answered flatly.

A legend said, write your wish on a parchment and let it fly with the lantern, that wish will come true some day. It is just a legend but that lantern actually symbolize respect and love.

You're thinking on your wish, what you should you write? You tapped your chin with the pen that you were holding while thinking about it. Then, you looked at Itachi and at the same time, he looked at you too. Both of you blushed and quickly look down at your blank papers again. Some how, you felt embarrassing when you look at him in the eyes.

Then, you remembered about Itachi's life which he doesn't really like about it. And about the medicine that you saw at the bus stop too. And...your father... You smile.

I hope Itachi-kun's wish is granted and I hope both Oto-san and Itachi-kun have good health and have a better life awaits them.

You folded the parchment and put it on top of the lantern and Itachi did the same too, accidentally touch your hand in the process. He quickly withdraw his hand and avoid your gaze. "Ladies first..."  He muttered.

You chuckled at him, he's so funny and cute. You put the folded parchment and let Itachi put his as well. Both of you then get a hold of the lantern and looked at each other. You nodded at him and he replied with a simple nod as well before letting go of the lantern and let it fly away with some other lanterns. It fly away lightning up the dark night sky and ride the breeze away.

"I hope our wish will come true some day..." Itachi said to you and share a 30 seconds locking gaze with you before you two turn away from embarrassment.

"They will come true. I know they will." You said while continue to enjoy the night sky view from there. You sat on the sandy beach with Itachi while waiting for the fireworks show to start. They will shoot the fireworks from the small island not far from the beach and your spot may be the best spot for that activity.

You actually feel blessed to be with Itachi but somehow...your heart keep beating fast when you're with him. However, it still gives you some sort of excitement from it, you don't know why but...you like this moment a lot.

Itachi on the hand seems very calm, he looked around and he noticed that this place was full of couples. Some of them are holding hands, some of them were leaning on each other, some just chatting and giggling happily and some are just enjoying the night with silence. He then looked at you who is still enjoying the wave from the sea.

"You enjoyed the festival, (y/n)?" Itachi asked after being silent for a quite while.

"Of course, I am... especially when I saw your sad face when you hear from the old lady that said there's no dango there..." You chuckled while poking his shoulder playfully.

He chuckled as well and shrugged from your pokes. "You seems to enjoy teasing me so much..."

"Of course! I like to see you smile. You looked... better with a smile rather than your cool expression...at least, when you smile, I know that you're happy, Itachi-kun..." You replied while looking at the moon which is so bright tonight.

Itachi smile at your statement before he looked at the same direction as you. "Then, I will smile always...just for you, (y/n)..."

The way he said that makes you feel happy but... something tingles your heart too that makes your face flushed red. Whenever you're with him, it sure give you some strange feelings but it's not something that you hate...it makes you feel...you want to be with him even more. Plus, you trust him more than you trust yourself sometimes...

"I'm sorry for the bad start for tonight, Itachi-kun..." You blurted out to him. That matter about your father, you don't really know how to handle it so...you might need some advices from him.

"No, it's fine. What happened just let it slip, okay? Just...we learn from experience..." He said while shifting his place to look at you. Yes, you looked so beautiful in his eyes, always looks perfect and flawless for him.

"Learn from experience..." You muttered. "Itachi-kun, can I ask your opinion about something?"

"Sure."

"What would you do if... someone that you trust the most, you appreciate the most is not like what think they are?" You said after thinking about this for a long time. You were angry but now, guilt is now trying to pull you down to deepest part of the earth.

Itachi blinks at your question a few times before smiling softly. "You know, people will never meet with our expectations, never. It is because...humans are not a perfect being but it doesn't mean they never try to fix their weakness...humans are unique especially when it comes to feelings, some might just say their mind out, some will bottle them up, some will write it in a book, some will tell about it to someone he or she trusts, some might say the opposite of it too. Humans are not perfect but very special in their own ways because each and every human on this planet is not the same... everyone is special...just like that person too, (y/n)."

Itachi's words makes you think deeply about it. It's true, your father is still a mere human with a lot of flaw but, there is where humans grow... "But, what if they say something that breaks your heart? They treated you very nicely but suddenly..." You asked while tracing some random shapes on the sand.

"Like I said before, humans have their own ego and everyone handle their ego with different ways. Maybe that person said that but he never meant it. Or maybe just a metaphor...we never knows, right? Plus, sometime we need to remind ourselves that actions speak louder than words, forget about that person said and remember about their good deeds... It is the most important value as a human too, to always remember about someone's kindness..." Itachi explained to you that makes your eyes hot.

Maybe, you're the one who's overreacting about this small matter. If your father never wants you in the first place, he already left you just like how your mother did. Yeah, the way he showers you with his undying love, it is real. Reality is cruel but love makes it beautiful. He involved himself with a criminal organization just because of you, that's not how someone that doesn't like you will do for you, it's the opposite. You're the one at fault this time.

"Everyone have their flaw, right?" You asked to no one in particular but Itachi is sitting beside you so he hears you.

"Yeah, but for certain persons, there is someone with flaws but for particular someone, he or she looks just perfect in their eyes..." Itachi replied after glancing at you before tracing his finger at the sand.

"Humans are weird..." You chuckled.

"I would rather use 'unique' than 'weird'," Itachi responded.

You just chuckle at his spontaneous answers, but he's right and you can't deny it. Maybe...Itachi is the person with flaws but you never saw that weakness from him... he's, perfect in your eyes. You averted your eyes from him, "Thank you, Itachi-kun. Your words helps me a lot..."

"Not a big deal... we're...friends, right?"

You nod and hum in response. 'Friends', the word that hold a lot of ties that bind you together, you can choose to either tighten the grip or loosen it anytime you wants. But for the case with Itachi, you will absolutely do the first one.

"(y/n), I have a request..." Itachi said to out if sudden.

You tilted your head questioningly at him.

"Please, live-"

The fireworks explode in front of you taking over all the voices around you including Itachi's but he's still saying his request to you and your focus is at him all the time, ignoring the fireworks in front of you. You can't hear a thing but you can read his lips.

"Promise me, (y/n)."

You finally hear his voice again after the fireworks show has paused making you hear a lot of cheers from the people around you. But, your focus is still at the Uchiha. You trace a soft smile at him, let out your pinky in front of him.

He slowly reach out his pinky finger and linked it around your's. His eyes is at you the whole time, never letting your eyes away from his black gaze.

"Promise." You said. "I will make-"

Your voice sunk because of the fireworks again but Itachi can read your lips perfectly. He smiled at you and muttered a mute 'thank you' to you before the two of you continue to watch the show, while both your hands are so close to each other behind your backs, so close but there is still a gap between it.

After the show was over, Itachi accompany you back home and dropped you off in front of the house. "So much fun, right?" You asked the raven.

"Yeah, I'm glad I made a decision to come here to cool down. Oh, do you want me to send the pictures that we took to you?"

"Please do." You answered with a closed eyes smile. You're so mad that evening until you forgot to bring your phone and even your purse with you. Itachi was so kind that he paid all the food and the games that both of you enjoyed that night. He's so generous for being very rich at the same time. "I'll pay your debt later, Itachi-kun." You added, you don't want to have any debt with other people, you just don't like it. Eventhough people will say it is normal for a guy to pay for the girl, it is not normal for you. You're an independent one.

"No need for that, (y/n). Being with you is more than enough for me." He replied with a smile. Then, he realised about what he said and blushed fifty shades.

He's so cute, too cute to be honest. You smile at him. "Me too, Itachi-kun. But, I don't say anything about money..." You said, snickering.

"W-What do you mean? D-Don't say anything weird, (y/n)... I'm not that type of guy. I-I promise..." He said while glancing at you, who looks so gorgeous in that kimono. He remembered something that he read a few years ago.

"They didn't wear anything under that kimono. Completely naked, no undergarments."

He blushed more and cursed himself for thinking about that kind of thing right now. Maybe, it's kinda late right now, he need to go back. Yeah, that's a pretty good idea for now. He cleared his throat and regain his cool again, "It's late and I don't want Kakashi-sensei to blame me for sending you back late. Plus, I must check on Shisui, I hope he's still alive..." Itachi said, joking around like his cousin always do.

You giggled at this, "You know how to joke around too sometimes, right?"

"I think I'm not joking...that guy is hopeless." Itachi replied again with a soft smile plastered on his face.

You smile at him. "See you at school."

"How about the book festival? The mini anime cons?" Itachi asked, there's a slight of panic in his voice.

"Of course I remember about that, Itachi-kun. Deidara messaged me two days ago and he invited me too. I told him about your plan and he said he will tag along as well. Not long after that, he called again telling me that Sasori will be with us too. I hope you don't mind, Itachi-kun..."

Itachi sweat drop hearing this. "Y-Yes! Of course I don't mind! The more the merrier..." He said with his fake smile. In his mind, he already punch Deidara at least five times now, that blonde surely know how to ruin the mood. He clicked his tongue before smiling at you, "Good night." He said before walking away.

"Good night."

He glanced at you again and then he stopped, "Oh, sensei. I'm sorry if we're late..." Itachi apologised after spotting your father who is on his way to come back as well.

"Oh, it's fine. Thank you by the way, Itachi." Your father replied before having his gaze at you.

Itachi nodded, "Good night, sensei", he bid his farewell and walked away towards the inn which he and Shisui spend their night at.

Now it's just you and your father alone outside, it's a bit awkward. He walked towards you, "So, how was your night?" He asked.

"Great." You murmured.

"(y/n), you see...I-"

"I'm sorry, Oto-san. It was so mean that I doubted you... I'm sorry..." You did as you hugged him tightly which he was so shocked about it at first. But, he returns the hug anyway.

"No, I'm the one at fault. I should think before I say anything...I broke your heart and I know it...I'm sorry, okay?" He apologized while kissing the top of your head lovingly. He really can't deal with the fact that he makes you sad.

You shook your head and burried your face into his broad chest. Yes, this is home. How foolish were you to think that he never loves you, but who cares about it. What matters now is that you love him so much. He is the only family member you have now aside your grandfather.

You pulled away, wiping your tears away and smiled at him. He then smile back at you while shoving his pocket from his yukata. "You dropped this."

Your eyes widened to see the necklace that you clenched so tight that evening, you didn't notice that it dropped from you too. You quickly take the necklace and look at it, it's still in a good condition. You let out a sigh of relief. "I'm sorry for being reckless, To-san..."

He ruffles your hair, "It happens, my daughter..." He then took the necklace and put it around your neck again. "There you go, now you look beautiful again."

You giggled at him, "So, where did you go, To-san?"

"At the waterfall...do something..." He answered flatly while the both of you continue your steps to the front door. "We're gonna go back home the day after tomorrow, okay?"

"What?! It's just been...uh..." You're counting the days with your fingers. "How many days it is?"

"It's been more than two weeks, (y/n)..." He answered while chuckling then ruffles your hair again.

"It's been that long?!"

"You really enjoy being here, aren't you?"

"Hello, Madara-sama. It's me again."

"How many times I told you?! Don't call me all the time!!! I'M THE BOSS HERE! I HAVE BUNCH OF THINGS TO DO!!!"

"I-I'm s-sorry, Madara-sama. I-I just have something to tell..."

"Make sure that something is important and worth my time..."

"S-Sure, Madara-sama. It's the Hatake! T-They're leaving the day after tomorrow..."

"I don't see anything as an information or important here..."

"N-No! I mean, I-I still...I-I mean...s-should I follow them to Tokyo too, Madara-sama?"

"I think I paid you more than enough for your fuel. Just do whatever you want with the girl but don't let your eyes loose from her. I will give you my next order when the times come...I can't trust the newbies in Tokyo just yet. Do whatever you can for this."

"Understand, Madara-sama."
