"Do you like (y/n)?"

Deidara blinks a few times before his face slowly boiling over as his hands and feet are now shaking with nervous sweat all over his face and neck. That was so sudden! A sudden Attack! His lips quiver before any words could pass his lips. "I-I...Wha-...O-Of course I-I do like her! (y-y/n) is my bestest buddy i-in the world, yeah!"

Kakashi just laughed at him, he know this blonde really have a reputation to hold, he's not going to admit it just like that. Or even confess first...this will be a big problem... "You know, if you just being honest while the opportunity is still available, you're going to be lucky but...things will change if you ran out of opportunities...think about it carefully, Deidara..." Your father said while taking a sip of the drinks.

Deidara just chuckles nervously while staring at his plate before you came and sat beside him, putting the rice in your father's plate and then his before putting at your's. He just steal some looks at you with his slightly pink cheeks. 'While the opportunity is still available, huh?'

"How was your new school, Itachi-kun?"

"Hn. Good."

"Your exam?"

"Hn."

Itachi was not on his fully attention at the female Uchiha in front of him, he was so busy scrolling his phone, looking through the instagram feeds. It's not like he doesn't like Izumi, it's just...he wants to be alone right now. That's all. Then, his finger stopped scrolling, his eyes looked at the screen with a tiny hint of jealousy in it.

Izumi, the sweet Uchiha female just giggled as she noticed that her childhood friend is blushing. Is it a girl? Or...boy, perhaps? Well, he got a weird allergic towards girl to begin with. She leaned forward and peek her head to see his screen. "Is that your friends, Itachi-kun? I think I saw the girl a few times around here before..." She said while remembering about the said girl.

"Oh, yes. She came here sometimes before. She's my classmate, Hatake (y/n)." Itachi said with his usual monotone voice while looking at your happy face along with...Deidara.

"What about the blonde? Do you know her?"

Itachi just smirked with his cool feature as he just hold his laugh from Izumi's question. "That's Deidara. And she is a HE."

Izumi gasped after hearing this, "What? A trap? Geez, he's so cute..."

"Yow, Itachi! Oh, Izumi too!"

Another Uchiha came between them as he settled himself beside Itachi. He saw a picture of you and Deidara in Itachi's phone. He smirked, "Stalking?"

Itachi blushed slightly at this, "What do you want, Shisui? Wait, you're going now?"

"Yup, I got an early call from Kyoto University. That's my dream uni, bro!" Shisui said proudly. As expected from the best student at school.

"Wow, congratulations, Shisui-san. What course are you taking?" Izumi asked and sounded really curious about it.

"Computer languages and programming." Shisui answered with a smile.

Itachi sighed. "You will be in a lot a trouble if you take that course, Shisui...you know, you should take something like Medicine or Laboratory Technician or Chemical Engineering or..you know... something for you to be in the company..."

Shisui smiled brightly and laughed very loud. "I don't want to work at the company or at the hospital. I don't even want to join anything related to the Uchiha as well. I want to live freely with no bounds around me."

"That's so inspiring, Shisui-san." Izumi said with some blushes on her cheeks. Shisui is surely a bright guy for an Uchiha. Talk about someone unique...

"Heh, of course! Look who is talking! Uchiha Shisui!"

"Hey! You posted that picture in instagram?! I was about to post it first..." You pouted at the blonde with your paused game as you quickly stand up to face him.

"What? Do you want another picture with me, yeah?" Deidara said as he get up and about to go back home. It's already 9pm now.

"No..." You said flatly with your stoic face.

"I was about to take one more actually..." Deidara said with nervous chuckle as his cheeks turns baby pink.

You just smiled at him and quickly pulled him to lower his body at your height, sling your hand at his neck as you make a peace sign and snapped a selfie with your phone. You looked back at the selfie, it's nice. "I'm the one who's gonna post this one. I will send it to you later via whatsapp."

Then, you closed the door after making sure you're already locked it after Deidara went back with his motorcycle. You plopped yourself back on the couch while taking your new manga to reread it.

"The school is starting soon and my arm is already in a good shape. Wanna continue our war, (y/n)?" You father said as he sat on the couch as well.

"Not really...how about movie?!" You asked as you saw that one horror movie is about to start.

"This one? Cursed Child? You sure?" He asked as he flipped the channel and the movie is just about 2 minutes to start.

"What do you mean by that, To-san?! I'm not a little girl anymore...plus, I'm not even sacred at that fake movies..." You said as you flip your hair in a sassy way.

"You know what? I don't believe with your words. You're always scared after watching these kind of movies. "

"No, I don't."

"Yes, you do."

"No!"

"Yes!"

"To-san!!!"

"I'm just telling the truth..." He said in a sing song way to tease you as he looked through the movie list.

"To-san!!! I wanna watch the movie! Not these alphabets and the tables!" You said as you pouted at him.

"I think I'm gonna stay up and have a movie night. There's a bunch of interesting movies until 5am." He said as he stood up and went away, leaving you alone with that scary movie.

"To-san! D-Don't leave me alone!!!"

The school finally started and everything just went on smoothly, nothing abnormal happened except for Deidara, he always tried to spend some time with you for just chatting or...for nothing. He said that he enjoyed being around you and he acts a little bit odd as well. He will stutter a bit and his cheeks always burned when you touch him.

Now, you were in class, your body is there but your mind is wondering at another dimension by now. It's not that you are daydreaming or anything, you were just thinking. You looked at your side, empty, vacant. "Why is he absent today?" You sighed at your own question. Maybe he's sick or something...

You turned back your attention to the front, trying very hard to concentrate in the class. It felt lonely. Too lonely. It's not that Itachi will talk much with you but...your heart feel it that way. You don't have any power to control your heart for sure.

"Okay, class. That's all for today. I hope all of you are ready for the exam before your summer holiday. Remember, you're not the first year anymore, all of you need to sacrifice some of your playing times for study now. Well, best of luck to all of my students." Asuma-sensei said before the class rep lead the whole class to say thank you.

You sighed. The exam is coming soon, why did Itachi is absent right now. You want to study with him...talk with him, be close to him...

"(y/n)-chan...will you help me study for today... please..."

Here we go again, you forced a smile and face him. "Sorry, Hidan-san. I need to go home early. I'm so sorry." You said, faking you're apology. It's not that your hate him, you just...he love to stare at you with that weird smile on his face and that's make you uncomfortable.

"Please...just for today. I promise I will study hard, (y/n)-chan...I will never let you down, I promise..." Hidan added with his pleading at you.

You sighed again, "I can't, Hidan-san. Oto-san is the one who asked me to do that." Once again, you make up your fake excuse to escape from him, to be honest you're still freak out about what happened with him before. You really want to stay away from him as far as you can for that reason.

"Can you...just once, disobey his words for once?"

This is getting in your nerve. "The only person that I will never disobey is my father. That's it." You said as you stand up and quickly made your way out of the class, being in the same room with him for too long is not a good thing to do for sure.

Itachi didn't come to school for a week, and this week is an examination week before summer break. As you enter the classroom, your eyes finally saw the one and only Uchiha Itachi, sitting at his place like it was nothing. You slowly walked up to him and gently knock him with your book.

"Ouch. Is that your new style for saying 'good morning'?" He said while blushing. He was really excited to see you actually but, he will not admit it...I mean, for what?

"Yes, it is a new trend. That's what you got for being missing for about a week, Uchiha-kun." You said with your sarcastic tone as you pulled your chair and sat on it. "What happened? Are you sick or something?"

He seems hesitated at first but seeing you already aim him with your book, he gave up. "Y-You can say that, I guess... Just a cold." He said while his face is showing a tint of sadness about it. It's just cold, not a big deal.

"I see...so, are you going to be okay with the exam? You're already in good condition, right? You said as you leaned to him and reached out your palm at his forehead.

He's now panic and blushing hard. "H-Hatake... stop! I-I can't-"

Too late. The back of your palm is already on his forehead and his face is burning with blush. You pulled away as you let out a giggle.

Itachi quickly covers his mouth with his palm and press his stomach with the other hand. When he finally okay, he glare at you who are still holding your laughter back. "N-Not funny, Hatake..." He said, pouting while quickly looked in front to hide his blush.

"That's for leaving me without a word, Uchiha-kun..."

"Hey, (y/n)! How about we hangout during summer brea- Itachi! Where did you go, un?"

You looked at the sudden hand which is on your shoulder and looked at the blonde. You just looked at him a smug, what is this guy even thinking? The exam is not even started yet, and here is he talking about the break and hangout.

"I was sick. Not a big deal." Itachi answered flatly while eyeing Deidara's hand which is still on your shoulder.

"We're supposed to focus on the exam first, Deidara. Then, we can think about the break later." You said to Deidara which only makes him laugh at it.

"Yeah, you're right..." He said while scratching his cheeks nervously.

"Oi, idiot! The exam is in 30 minutes! Sensei is coming soon!" Sasori said to him after he came in without anyone noticing and just walked away, leaving Deidara still in your class.

"Wait for me, Danna, un! Goodluck, (y/n)! You too, Itachi!" He said as he dissapeared in a trail of dust behind him.

"Sasori is surely like tsundere mother..." You said to yourself and giggles at it. Those two are just so cute.

"Um, Hatake." Itachi calls you with a blush, he wants to ask something but...maybe it's not the perfect time because sensei is already here. The exam is going to start soon.

"Yes, Uchiha-kun?"

"Good luck."

You smile sweetly at him, "Good luck too."
