Your father was cut off because of his alarm. You sighed as you turned it off and stand back on your feet. "I'm hungry...and Oto-san need to get a shower real bad. You smells like an alcoholic old man." You said as you smiled brightly at him.

Your father was rather surprised by that, but he took it in a positive way. "Yeah, you too smells so bad, stinky..." He said before taking some bites of the breakfast.

You chuckled as you went out of his room and went straight to your room to take some good refreshing cold shower, it will help you to be more active for your day.

"So, this is his daughter?" He said while looking at the photos, it was clearly taken when you were out with your friends at the mall.

"Yes. Do want us to capture her?"

"Don't be ridiculous. I know this boy so much, he's an Uchiha. He must be at the top tier with martial arts as well...she seems to be close to him..."

"So, what should we do? We need Kakashi back!"

"Watch your language please. You're not ordering me, right?"

"N-No...forgive my rudeness..."

Kakashi came down from his room with his wet hair and saw you on the couch, vigorously clicking your controller while biting a toast in your mouth. Your eyes are fully focus on the TV in front of you.

You felt the couch shifted at your left side but pay no attention to it as you already know it was your father. "Here, let me feed you." Your father said after he grabbed the toast that you were biting at its corner. You opened your mouth as a sign for him to proceed while your eyes are still glued to the game, shooting all the zombies that are in your way. He just feed you while watching your playing.

He knew he wants to tell you everything as well. So, he will wait until you're done with your game first. "So, how was your hangout yesterday?" He begin.

"Fun. Super fun." You said, still clicking on the controller.

"You know...I always act like-"

"Wait To-san. Let me save this first", you finally found the saving place and save your game as you quit the game and turn it off. Now, you have your fully attention at your father. "Now is okay?" You said with a smile.

He giggled and ruffles your hair, "You know, I always act like my daughter is still a little girl but... it's hard to admit but I need to face the reality as well. You're a grown up now. You're like a best friend that I always can rely on...you can lend me your ears if I have any problem and all but I keep denying all of that." He began as you listened to him carefully. He took a deep breath and continue, "The truth is..."

You were so shocked to hear all of that. He was in a yakuza gang when he was in his highschool, that's where he got his tattoo as well. It is call the Anbu and the godfather's name is Shimura Danzo. Your father then fall in love with fall in love with your mother, Nohara Rin and she got pregnant during her last year in highschool. Your grandfather knew about this felt so angry towards Kakashi and told him that he is not his son anymore. Your father was panicked because he didn't have any money for the abortion or to raise you, that is when this Anbu recruited him and he managed to make tons of money until you were born and at that time, it was his graduation day but he didn't attend it. Your mother then said that she doesn't really love your father, it was only children love, still naive and she doesn't want to become a mother in her teen. She ran away from her ward that night, leaving you there. Your father was so mad at her but when he take a hold on you, it was love at first sight. He already have the money he needed to raise you and everything, he have a motorcycle, he can pay the rent for his house too. That's why he often busy when you were young and you need to stay with Deidara. Then, he met Minato-sensei, his former homeroom sensei, he advised him to leave his work as a yakuza member for your safety. Your father realised this, he bought a house which is the house you are living right now, far away from the Anbu's territory. He was confused at first on what to do, he had a great grades, good certificate from his school days, so Minato-sensei helped him and he was taken as a practical sensei at first but as you know right now, he's now a full time sensei there. During your second year at middle high, he accidentally met with your mother, Rin who is holding Obito's hand and they had a baby with them. From that on, he get to know that Rin already married with Obito and Obito is so rich. Obito dissapeared after highschool and suddenly appears, saying that he finished his degree in New Zealand and now he's an important man in the huge company, the Sharingan which is the company that makes optical devices and they also have a grand optical hospital...

"...and, the actual reason I don't want you to be so close to Itachi is because... he's an Uchiha. The Uchiha family is owner of the Sharingan company and that hospital but... that's not all..." He paused while looking at you. "They are actually gained those money easily because the Uchiha family is one of the dangerous yakuza family as well. The biggest one in Japan but the police...well, money can buy anything, right? My gang usually have some fights against the Uchiha gang which is known as Akatsuki... I think you already seen Itachi's martial arts skills... that's why, (y/n). I'm sorry for hiding this from you..."

You were speechless, completely speechless. That is definitely too much to swallow at a time. First, your father is an ex yakuza member. Second, your best friend's family is from a yakuza family. And third... what's the third?

"T-Then...did they beat you until you're like this, To-san?" You asked while holding back your tears. This is so bad. They must be after him again.

"It seems you got the idea already...yeah, Anbu wants me back because they will have some sort of 'war' against the Akatsuki and they need me because I'm strong." He said with a tint of proud in his voice.

You pouted at him, "That is not something you should be proud of, Oto-san..." You said as he pinched his arm. He flinched and let out a soft chuckle while muttering a soft 'sorry' to you. You leaned your back on the couch and stare at the ceiling...Yakuza...Anbu... Akatsuki... Wait! Your eyes snapped opened. "Akatsuki..." You muttered while resting your finger under your chin as you were thinking.

"Hmm, what's wrong, (y/n)?" You father asked as he heard you muttered something about Akatsuki.

You think about this first, Akatsuki, it means dawn or daybreak. It sounds so peaceful. But, if you write it and separate the katakana, Aka and Tsuki, Aka means red and Tsuki is moon... Red moon...every yakuza gang have some symbol to represent themselves and they make it as tattoo or even some kind of uniform...your mind wandered at when you met with Hidan and his black hoodie...that red cloud behind his back...maybe... It could be but... impossible for Hidan to join a Yakuza gang, right? Plus, he and Itachi which is clearly have a firm connection with Akatsuki are usually fighting... You chuckled at this thought, you're just overthinking things... That red cloud must be only the symbol for his small group with his friends. That's all.

You turned to your father and pouted at him, "Did they know about our house?"

His eyes widened at your sudden question before he let out a rough grunt again. "I can't say for sure...but no matter what, I will always protect you. Don't worry, okay?" He said as he ruffles your hair.

You frown at this. He get hurt because of this and it happened at the school, in the parking lot to be precise. It means that the Anbu already knew where he work... This surely scares you, what if they do something worst afterwards...

"...no matter what, I will always protect you. Don't worry, okay?"

His sweet words is ringing in your ears. You bring your knees up and hugged them while burying half if your face in it. You don't want anything to happen on him...it scares you to death when you received a call from the hospital that night, your heart felt like it forgot on how to pump. And now, to think about anything worst...it makes you scared. You quickly throw your arm around his neck and hugged him tightly. He went through a lot, and it's all for you. He did all of this because of you...he get hurt because of you. You sobbed in his neck, it's a hard truth but that is reality.

He rubbed your back gently. "It's okay, my daughter...I'm here now..."

"Not just now. I want you to be with me forever." You mumble between your tears. "Promise me that you will stay with me forever. Promise me, To-san!"

He was taken back from your words. It breaks his heart everytime you cried, especially when it him who was the cause of your tears. He pulled your closer. "Yes. I will never go anywhere. I will always stay by your side. I promise. I promise you, (y/n)..."

Your cry subsided a bit after hearing those words. You pulled away and pouted at him again, "Keep all your belongings properly, To-san." You said with a stern voice, trying hard to push the tears back.

He twitched, "W-What kind of belonging are your referring to?"

"I don't know but it was something you left here! On the sofa! It looks almost the same as my handgun toy when I used to play when I was as a kid..." You told him in your own way to let him know about the gun.

His eyes widened as he quickly stood up and his eye scanned the living room quickly. "Y-You saw it?! Y-You didn't touch it, right?! W-Where does that little shit go?!"

"I put it in the your drawer in your room, Oto-san... don't worry, I didn't take anything or do anything with it...I promise."

He sighed as he facepalm himself. "How the fuck did I just let it be here...damn Kakashi..." He said, keep cursing himself and then looked down, his eyes averted towards your finger which is wrapped with small bandage. He quickly lift it and look at it. "D-Did I did this to you? W-While I'm drunk...did I do anything bad to you?"

You sighed and smile at him. "You were gonna attack me at first because you couldn't recognise me. But then you pulled me into a hug. And this is not your fault, I pricked my finger with a knife. That's all...if you're worried about your drunk self, just don't drink anymore, To-san...I hate that alcohol smell as well." You grunt at him.

He sighed in relief. "I'm glad to hear that...but about that...I will consider about it later, I'm not a heavy drinker, right?"

You rolled your eyes, "Yeah, right."

"(y/n), you can't just play games until the school starts again..." Kakashi said while feeding the food to his mouth.

"Then, can we go out together... I mean, after you're healed, of course..." You said with a little frown.

Your father softly after seeing how innocent you are. You love games, anime, manga but you're not a completely shut in. You know when to communicate with others and your grades is getting better too. He really want to take you out to the countryside to enjoy some vacation together but looking at his condition right now...he really can bare with it but you will never let him for sure.

"I'm sorry because I can't really afford to really take you to some vacation, my daughter...you know-"

"No! That's not what I mean, To-san!" You said to stop him. You never wanted to go to a vacation...maybe just stroll around with him, at the park or at a beach. Some father and daughter moments together.

"Hey, you remember about what I said about my father?" Your father suddenly asked while zoning out for a bit.

You just nodded at looked up to him while eating your food. You never thought that you still have a grandparent...

"I was born in a small village in Miyazu, Kyoto. There where I used to live with Oto-san..." He said with a tint of sadness in his voice.

"That...is so far away from here..." You replied. Of course it's so far away, you live in Shibuya, Tokyo by the way.

"Yeah it is...Miyazu is a nice place, my house was by the sea, you know. I remember when I used to go fishing with Oto-san...cycle to get to my school...it was pretty cold there eventhough in summer. Yeah, much more peaceful than here..." He chuckled while taking another bite of his food.

"O-Oto-san missed, Ojisan?" You asked him. It was too obvious but hearing from himself is better. At least he can put away some of the weight from his heart.

He smiled while staring at his food. "Sometimes but... it's no use. He will be mad if still sees me alive." He chuckled but you know he's very sad about it.

"You can't say like that, To-san...you want to see me in flesh too, right? M-Maybe... Ojisan already forgive you a long time ago..." Yo said to comfort him.

He chuckled again, "I can't say that for sure. I mean, he's surely upset with me, he's only son, abandoned his study, made a girl pregnant, joined a yakuza gang...he tries hard to raise me properly but in the end...I ended up stupid."

You frown at this. It makes you feel guilty. He abandoned everything behind because of you. He didn't even go to his graduation day because you was born that day. He lost his love because of you, he joined the criminal yakuza gang because of you... everything because of you. Being a sensitive young girl you are, your tears fall cascading down your cheeks before trailing down beneath your chin.

You father saw this, he reached his hand and wiped away your tears with his thumb gently. "You know, my daughter... it's not your fault. You only brings happiness in my life. Because of you I walk away from my dark past and clean up my hands. You don't how happy I am when I have a princess to protect. Your innocent soul always lighten up my life. You are my source of happiness, you are my utopia, (y/n)... Whenever I recalled about my past it was dark but you were there too, you made me forget about how hard life is. I'm just so glad that you're still here with me, still by my side, taking care of me when I'm hurt, nag at me when I acted like a dumbfounded man, hear my problems and give some meaningful advices for me to hang on, and the most important part is...you showed me what true love means. I may be blind when I was younger but I didn't regret any of it because I have you. My one and only princess, the only girl that I love..." He said to you with a soft smile.

You smile but your cry become worse than before. He's such a good man, no matter what his past is, you only see the good side of him. He picked you when your own mother didn't want you, he take care of you with full of love, eventhough you're kinda naughty when you were a kid, he never yell at you or even pinch you. Never. You chuckled a bit, "I just want to finish my food first and then I will continue with this tears or whatever. I'm hungry, very hungry..."

He laughed and take a bite too, "Me too...I didn't have anything since yesterday."

You glared at him after hearing his confession, "To-san promised to take care of yourself, right?"

He just chuckles while scratching the back of his head nervously. 'She will nag at me. Totally.'

"Itachi? What are you doing, dear?"

That soft voice startled the Uchiha making the phone in his hands slipped and bounced from his bed. It landed perfectly on the floor, right in front of his mother's feet.

Mikoto picked it up and looked at the screen. She smiled sweetly.

"I-It's fine, right? No cracks?" Itachi asked with his pink cheeks.

Mikoto sat at the edge of the bed beside her son, "Did you ask her out yet?"

Itachi blushed even more. "W-We're just friends...for her..." He said, a little too low for the last part to pass his lips but, a mother always knew what is in her children's mind for sure.

"It's still holiday, right? How about you invite her here for lunch or something...I personally love her as well. (y/n)-chan is so well-mannered and sweet." Mikoto added with that smile still visible on her facial.

Itachi frown, "She won't come... Kakashi-sensei is still not in a good state yet. While she's out with us, she hesitated at first because she wanted to take care of him..."

"Does, she have a mother? Or any other siblings?"

Itachi thought about it for awhile. He never saw anyone except you and your father. Even at your house, it's just you and him. "I don't know but, it's just her and Kakashi-sensei...I never saw anyone else in their house."

Mikoto just chuckles. It's rare for his son to stare at a girl's photo all alone in his room, let alone take a photo with a girl. She can tell that her son is in love with her. How cute...

"Nii-san".

Itachi looked up at the door frame and saw his little brother standing there with a smirk. "What is it, Sasuke?

He smirked again, "Izumi is here. She wants to meet you."

Itachi sighed at this. "I'll be there in a minute..."

"Deidara! Shoot there! Not at my area!"

"You're too slow, (y/n)! Plus, I'm covering you, un. Go and solve the puzzle."

"Why does it's always me if it comes to puzzle?" You sighed while clicking your controller.

You father in the other hand just smiled at you and Deidara. Both of you were together since a very young age and he acknowledges Deidara as nice boy too. His art addiction is just making him looks like a bit childish but he's a mature one, he knew it.

"You know, you guys probably need to study as well during school breaks. It will help your brain to warm up before the class starts." He said as he put down the lunch that he cooked just now.

You heard some plates hitting each other and you quickly ran to your father, leaving the blonde struggling alone with the crowd of enemies. He called for you a few times but received nothing in return. He died, he facepalm himself and quickly turn off the PS4 as he made his steps to the kitchen as well. He saw you were helping your father with the food and staging the table. He smiled, eventhough you're playing games, you never leave your responsibility as a child, always put your father as your top priority. He was adore with you about this... you're independent, organised, nice, kind, almost all the positive traits is in your soul...not to mention on how cute and pretty you are- He blushed at this thought.

"Hey, Deidara. Come and join us." Your father said to him while sitting on his chair. "Thank you for spending some time with (y/n) today. I can't play any games right now..." He said while looking at his broken left arm. He still need about three weeks until his upcoming check up at the hospital and from there, the doctor will decide whether to remove the cement or not.

"Not a big deal, Kakashi-sensei. (y/n) is my closest friend to begin with... she's like...a sister..." He said the last part in a low tone and his face frown a bit but still forcing himself to smile. It was perfect between him and you but the moment Itachi came...it changed drastically. You...no longer spend most of your time with him... yeah, he can't blame you, Itachi is the 'Mr. Perfect' in the batch and he is in the same class as you...

Your father realised on how his face changed when he said about you. Kakashi looked at the kitchen where you're still putting some rice in the bowl and you seems busy for a moment. He leaned over to Deidara who sat beside your seat and whispered, "Do you like (y/n)?"
