I roll over to sunlight streaming in my face and a warm body pressed to mine snoring lightly. I push the body away from me the scent of strawberries hitting my nose. I push myself up and off Layla's bed looking over to my mine. Neat and hardly used like every other day. I stumble into the shower in my sleepy haze striping from my pajamas and stepping into the shower. Letting the hot water wake my sleeping muscles I lean my head on the wall sighing. Today eight years ago I killed the Dragneel name. I lift my head up and into the water mentally planning my day. Shower. Eat. Fight with dad. Go over to Gale's house. Same old. Same old. Sighing I finish my shower and step out wrapping a towel around me. Layla stumbles into the bathroom in her own sleeping haze. As she walks by me she gives me a sleepy smile and a kiss on the head as she mutters a good morning. I mutter one back and go to my room to put my clothes on.  A red half top shirt and white shorts. I throw on my shoes, brush and do my hair, clean my belly piercing, and head downstairs. Once there I grab a banana and a juice I finish them off just as Natsu walks in. 

"I want you to train with Layla and Nash today." He says 

I reply with a short no.

"What did you say?" He asks 

Everyone else has trickled into the kitchen and is chatting, but still listening to us. 

"I said no I won't train with them." I say picking up a book

"And why not?" He snaps 

"Because I'm not like them!" I yell 

"SO WHAT I STILL WANT YOU TO TRAIN WITH THEM!" 

"I'M NOT GOING TO TRAIN SOMETHING I DON'T HAVE!" 

"YES YOU ARE YOU NEED TO BECOME STRONGER!"

"I'M ALREADY STRONG ENOUGH!" 

"NO YOU AREN'T!"

"JUST BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE MAGIC DOESN'T MEAN I'M NOT STRONG!"

This has now because a full out screaming war between us. No one steps in between us because of what happened once. When that happened Natsu ended up setting the roof on fire and I may have broken all the kitchen windows by throwing Natsu through them to try and prove a point. 

"I STILL WANT YOU PREPARED TO DEFEND YOURSELF!" He screams 

"I CAN DEFEND MYSELF YOU JUST THINK I'M NOT THE WEAK HELPLESS LITTLE KID YOU THINK I AM !"  I scream back 

"YES YOU ARE BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY MAGIC! I WANT YOU TO BE SAFE!" Now his in my face 

"MAGIC ISN'T EVERYTHING PEOPLE HAVE SURVIVED WITHOUT IT!" I get in his face not backing down 

"YEAH AND MAGIC IS WHAT GIVES US OUR JOBS TO RAISE YOU!" 

"IT'S NOT MY FAULT I DON'T HAVE MAGIC!"

"MAYBE IT IS YOUR FAULT!" He screams 

Those words felt like he just stabbed me in the heart. The look on his face tells that he meant what he said which turns the knife digging it deeper. Natsu has said some shit in the past, but this far surpasses the rest.

"NATSU THAT'S ENOUGH." Lucy yells

Natsu looks to Lucy than back to me his face falling when he realized what he said . He hit deep the fact that both my parents are exceptionally strong wizards with two other kids just as strong and then me with no magic. I don't realize I'm crying til the room goes blurry and I catch my reflection in the mirror Natsu steps towards me with his arms out for a hug knowing how hard he hit me. In a fit of angry I throw the book, I'm holding hitting him square in the face and turn around running to my room. 

I grab a blue bracelet off my dresser and my bag off the floor. I slip the bracelet on my wrist as I hop onto my bed and open the window to climb out. Once on the ledge, I jump into the tree that stands nearby the window. I quickly and swiftly climb down the tree as I have done many times before my muscles recalling every memory of me climbing down. as soon as my feet touch the ground I'm off running faster than I have ever done before. After running for a while and knowing I'm in the clear I slow down to a steady walk tumbling the small blue bracelet remembering how it has come to be in my possession 

-Flashback-

A small four-year-old version of me sits in front of The Redfoxes waiting for Gajeel and Gale to return home from a mission. In my boredom and child curiosity, I wonder into the forest near their house. Not too far, but far enough to get into trouble which is my specialty. I know I'm not supposed to go into the forest alone, but I just can't help myself as I soon find myself at out play spot where we do things like play hind and seek, chase wild animals, and other little kid things. I go to my favorite hiding spot and climb in looking at the sky watching the clouds and trees. Oce I get bored of that I decided to go back to the Redfoxe's to wait some more. I climb back out only to come face to eye with a cyclops monster at first I think I'm dreaming because these specific creatures are native to the sun village what one is doing here baffles me. It screeches and I scream slipping back into my hiding hole. It looks down at me then tries using its claw feet to grab at me. I start screaming again protecting my head with my arms. After what feels like hours of me and screaming and crying the creature is ripped from his spot and I'm yanked from my spot and pulled into a warm body. I turn to see Gajeel beating the living daylights out of the creature using little to no magic. I'm in awe soon Gajeel beats the creature and comes to me hugging me. Gajeel has always been a bit shy when it comes to feelings even to his own kids, but when I was born with no magic he shows me every single one of his feelings. Sometimes I wonder if Levy and Gajeel are really my parents, but the pink hair, green eyes, and hot-headedness kind of give it away I'm very much a dragneel. Once he does checking me over making sure I'm okay he scolds me for going in alone. I listen to him walking next to him hold his hand well more like his hand swallowed mine and my other hand is holding Gales. Once back to the house Gajeel goes in to see his wife and daughters while Gale stays with me outside. 

"Why did you go away? Don't you like me anymore?" I ask 

"Of course, I do. I just needed money for something." He says hugging me 

"Oh did you get auntie Levy a present for her birthday?" 

"Yes, and I got you something." He says 

"You remember how when we play hind and seek with my sisters you would get mad because Emma and I could pick up your scent?" He asks and I nod yes. "Well, this will hide your scent from us and all other dragon slayers ever your father." He says holding out a small blue bracelet. I look at curiosity before slipping on my wrist. I look to Gale with the biggest smile on my face. I smash my hands on his face a give him a kiss. 

He pulls away looking at me shocked. "W-what did you d-do that f-for?" 

"That's what mommy does to daddy when he gives her presents." I say 

He just looks away blushing

-End- 

I smile at the memory looking back to the bracelet sadly the only time I use it is to run away from home. I smile at the memory before breaking through the trees spotting my destination. A new wave of tears flood my eyes and soon my smile is gone. Next thing I know I'm slamming the door open and running into the first person to stand up which happens to be Gajeel. I wrap my arms around his waist and bury my face into his chest.

"Hey, what's up small fry?" He asks 

"N-Natsu said it was m-my fault I d-don't have magic." I finally manage 

Gajeel unwraps my arms from around his waist and hands me to Levy and his is mad. Levy wraps her arms around me as Gajeel stomps to the door. His crimson eyes are fueled with anger. 

"Gajeel you aren't going to beat up Natsu." Levy says 

"Did you not hear what he said to Luna?" He asks 

"Yes, but Luna needs us and she probably doesn't need her father to know where she is. Okay?"

"I think she would be better with Gale." He grumbles walking to the kitchen 

As if summoned her walks down the stairs and takes one look at my face and does what he always does. Takes me from his mom's arms, sits on the couch like we did when we were kids me on his lap, pulls my book out, and starts reading to me while I calm down and listen to him. Gale and Emma both got their father's love for reading. Yeah, the only thing they like to read is missions and that's pretty much it, but Gale always reads to me when I'm sad or after a fight Natus. Yeah, most of the time I refer to my parents as Lucy and Natsu. As Gale's voice hits my ears reading the words I have read some many times before I start to zone out thinking if even my parents are even my birth parents. I mean it would have been hard for them to adopt me. You know to have something to be disappointed in and to blame for things that go wrong. I shake those thoughts out of my head I've heard the story of my birth so many times. It was Gale and Lia's first birthday party. they had to celebrate it after their birthday so Gajeel could be there. Then all of a sudden Lucy goes into labor. Natsu and Gajeel are kind of freaking out getting five kids and a pregnant lady to the hospital isn't as easy you would think.  I force myself back to reality where Gale is still reading and both Lai and Emma come down the stairs. Once the see us they both come over and give me and hug and pet my head like the older sisters they have become. Once they leave Gale goes back to reading and I don't realize how much time has gone by until Levy is asking me if I'm staying the night. I nod a yes. Gale finally closes the book and puts it back into my bed. He spent the whole day reading to me. I start to think about how close we have grown over the years I mean Gale was and is the only one who doesn't treat me differently because i have no magic. Yeah, the rest of the Redfoxes let me go with missions on the, but they always keep an eye on me as were Gale let me do my thing and get out of problems on my own. Seriously he sat there and watched while I tried for three hours to climb out of a hole that someone made as a diversion so we wouldn't catch them. we still did a day later, though. I make Gale carry me up to his sister's room where he sets me down and Emma pulls out a bag filled with my clothes. I change and climb onto the bottom bunk with Lia and Gale does his thing where he comes in makes sure I'm okay, checks and cleans my belly ring, kisses my forehead, and leaves and i do my thing where I let him, blush then turn around a try to sleep.

A/N Yeah I know I have another book but that's on hold and I am losing ideas for it and have major writers block on the whole thing then this idea hit me and I had to write it and share it with you, awesome people. Stay fresh my purple bananas.
