The two silver hummingbirds leaned elegantly over my neck. Their metallic feathers caressed me tenderly.
The two different-sized birds united to lift a heavy pearl with their beaks.
The little bird seemed to struggle to lift this terrible obstacle.
The little bird couldn't fly far, couldn't let go of its immense worry. Though the sky is his , his argent soul and body can't bear to see his companion suffer alone. This pearl is the problem that separates the sensitive little creature from his great trail of freedom, but also the means that unites him with the big, wild bird that seems less resistant than he is.
Little angel, little winged creature, you can't live in peace if you don't share it with your companion, you little grey monster are, unfortunately, me.
I couldn't move my mouth; my words were stuck on the tip of my tongue.
His presence made me lose them entirely ...his intuition, his understanding, capsizing my consciousness, caught in a whirlwind of misunderstood emotions.
"You are so easy to understand, little hummingbird. You may never find yourself, but I am certain of your identity."
His radiant, elegant face seemed all the more enchanting as he spoke those words. The way he captivated those around him truly amazed me.
Following his poetic words, I said nothing. I was unable to respond to such genius, nor was I ready to formulate sentences to match his words. And so, we began to walk together. I followed his steps, guided by his deep silence.
He led me to a place quieter than even his presence, a vast expanse where the spirits of the earth gathered, mourning their lost bodies and lamenting the lives that had slipped through their fingers. A nonchalant cemetery, a place where a dead species suffered.
Joo-seo knelt down on all fours and bent over a sorrowful grave, surrounded by waves of regret and melancholy. He traced the name of the deceased and read out the date, then pronounced,
"Now that you know where the mouldy body of your hero is hidden, you should visit him a little more."
An immense chill descended upon my body, and a wave of confusion washed over me. It unmoored me.
That day, I finally saw my father again.
