The news of the hokage and sakura ran like fire. Everyone was questioning why the hokage had decided to adopted the village's demon. But no questions were answered.

But what brought up more questions was...... what had happened to the demon. Everyone was shocked. How had she become so beautiful and bright. She looked so innocent and angelic. How had she change from wearing bandages like a mummie and being so gray, dark, and dull to colorful and open. Everyone question this but only got close enough to ' I love sakura the way she is. She deserves a happier future. A future where she is treated the same as other citizens.' And that was it.

So everyone respected sakura. They bowed when she walked close to the villagers and they called her sakura-san or sakura-sama. Sakura sometimes blushed at this feeling a bit embarrass.

But sakura felt happier than ever. The hokage treated her as a normal person. He wasn't scared of her anymore which made her even happier. Sakura got shocked stares but it didn't matter. She was having the time of her life. The hokage had invited her to live with him. She got her own room with forest green color walls, a wood floor. A king size bed with blue blankets and gray pillows. And the hokage had also buyed her a large mirror, which made her even happier because she would get to talk inner. Maybe.

Inner hadn't talked or appeared to sakura since the hokage had asked her to be his adopted daughter. Sakura was worried, but shrugged it off thinking that maybe she was taking a break.

The hokage had done things that sakura had always dreamed about.

She got a goodnight bed time story.(even if she's eight)

She got hugs. But it still felt weird for sakura not being used to the warmth.

She got a goodnight kiss on her forehead.

Sakura was happy but only showed small smiles to the hokage and nothing to the villagers. She knew all her happiness was being showed her eyes, which were bright, and large.

Sakura also got introduced to the hokage's grandson konohamaru. He was a nice kid, and she liked him. Of course sakura didn't consider him his brother or cousin. She wasn't ready for such a hard role in life. She only wanted to find her parents. That was all. But sakura was having second thoughts about destroying konoha.

Konoha had become so nice with her just like the hokage had said. It was bright, loving, and kind. She now liked everything about konoha.

But what about how they treated me before? Thought sakura.

They treated so different from other people. They called me names and they threw rocks at me. ROCKS! Sakura started getting angry. Then stopped.

Sakura was in her room. She was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants and her hair was in a tight bun. She was laying on the floor with a green blanket wrapped around her shoulders.

Sakura started breathing deeply.

No. I'm alright. everything is fine.

Maybe some training will help.

Sakura got up and walked towards the door. But before she could open it there was a knock.

Sakura opened the door to see the hokage standing there.

"Oh hello hokage." Said sakura nicely.

The hokage said nothing.

Before sakura could say anything she was knocked out.

-a hour later

Sakura opened her eyes she was still in her room. But was laying in her bed.

What happened?

She got up.

On yeah. The training grounds.

Sakura did a few hand signs to teleport there. Nothing happened.

What?

Sakura tried again. Nothing happened.

Sakura ran to the hokage's office.

"Hokage! Hokage!" Shouted sakura.

Sakura slammed the door open.

"Sakura!? What's wrong!?" Yelled the hokage.

"What did you do!? What did you do!?" Yelled sakura.

The hokage stayed quiet. He walked towards her and slapped her across the face.

Sakura fell to the ground.

"You think I wouldn't find out that you were planning on destroying konoha." He said with a cold voice.

Sakura stared shocked.

Her one chance to live on peace. To have someone love her for her true self. To feel happiness. Some what a warm feeling. Was turning to hate. It was gone.

Tears started forming on sakura's eyes. She felt her heart pounding fast. It hurt. It hurt. It hurt. Sakura had never felt pain before. Not from how the people used to treat her. Not from the cold nights she spend. Not from stabbing herself on many different places of her body even when he knew she was bleeding out.

Why does this hurt. I've never felt pain before. My heart. My one chance of being loved. To have someone comfort me. Its gone. Just like my parents. Its gone.

Sakura looked at the hokage. Sadness filled her eyes. Betrayed. She had been lied to and betrayed.

She started feeling the cold and dark aura that she had ever since she was born.

Cold. I feel so cold.

"You l-lied to me" said sakura.

"I did. It was for the good of the village. Who knew you would ever think of destroying the village and the people in it. You really are a monster aren't you." Said the hokage.

"You gave me something I always wished for. You used my weak spot." Said sakura. Shadows covered her eyes."that was clever of you."

The hokage looked at her surprised.

"What are you going to do now uh kill me." Said sakura." Why not, I've had enough of you people. You just won't stop. You just keep hurting me. Just do it. I'm tired of you. I just want to be with my parents. Maybe they are dead."

The hokage said nothing.

She just wants to be loved. Why wouldn't she. She's been hurt by everyone. Even me. But she needs to be hurt. She is a monster after all. And monsters are supposed to be killed and hurt.

That thought gave him a idea.

"No sakura I'm not going to kill you." Said the hokage." I'm going to make you suffer until you start begging for mercy."

"I put a seal on you. It sealed about 3\4 of you're chakra." Said the hokage.

Sakura started turning back to her grayish form.

The hokage slammed his hand on her head, and did a couple of fast hand signs.

Sakura turned back to her colorful form. She started screaming.

"Stop!! Stop!!" Yelled the sakura.

"I'm sorry but we don't want the villagers to find out. So you're going to have to stay happy."

"I'm not the monster." Whispered sakura while she suffered." You are."

The hokage slapped her again.

More tears formed on her eyes. Sakura was being filled with darkness in the inside.

"Now I have once again signed you to the academy." Said the hokage." I want you to act normal, so no one can suspect a thing." Said the hokage walking away from sakura to his desk.

Sakura slowly stand.

You will regret this day.

Sakura's eyes quickly turned red then back to their green color.

Konoha will pay the price.
