While you were scavenging for supplies, you received a call through your headset and heard Takashi.

Takashi: "Did you get everything on the list?"

"Yep, even the things that the girls need. An apocalypse is he worst time for hormones."

Takashi: "Tell me about it. We'll finish up and get back. You've been asked for blood samples."

"Again? I'm on the verge of anemia."

Takashi: "This is the last one for a while. They promise. And do hurry back. Ms. Shizuka is worried about you."

After hanging up, you thought of when you and Shizuka were having fun together. Finishing up your thoughts, you went through "Them" and came across a jewelry store, where you saw wedding rings in one of the display cases and imagined Shizuka wearing one.

Getting an idea, you broke the glass and grabbed the rings before running out of the Mall and going back to the others, handing them the supplies. Shizuka hugged you and kissed yourself on the cheek.

Shizuka: "I'm glad you're okay. It must have been scary in there."

"It's okay. I'm used to it."

You then got on the motorcycle and drove away with the others to an empty town that has no infected victims and decided to stay there for tonight. You then looked at the box you put a ring in and heard knocking at your door.

Shizuka: "Y/N, can I come in?"

"Sure."

Shizuka: "Sorry again for all the needles. I'm sure you'll feel better soon."

"Thanks Shizuka. There's something I want to tell you."

Shizuka: "What is it?"

"I told you that I felt like I had no purpose in this world. That I should just finish "Fading". But you and the others came and gave me purpose. For the first time, I've felt hopeful for things."

Shizuka: "I'm glad to hear it."

You then walked towards Shizuka and brought out the ring box. You opened it, revealing the wedding ring, causing Shizuka to cover her mouth.

"Shizuka, I know that things will still be tough, but will you be with me, forever?"

Shizuka grabbed your cheeks and pulled yourself into a deep kiss.

Shizuka: "Yes! Of course, Y/N!"

The two of you snuck out and went to a church a few blocks down. Neither of you have time or desire for an official wedding, so you put the rings on your fingers and kissed each other.

In Takashi and Kohta's room, they are busy putting ammo into the gun magazines.

Kohta: "This is still a pain in the ass. Where the hell is Y/N?"

Takashi: "Shizuka said she needed him for a bit. Why else did we tell her which room he was in?"

Kohta: "Oh yeah. Sorry, still trying to get over Takagi punching me in the face."

Takashi: "Well, you did take that box from the bag so you can hand it to them. How did you expect her to react?"

Kohta: "I forgot."

You then snuck back to the house you were staying at with Shizuka and you went to your room. The two of you kissed once again as you embraced each other.
