You, Takashi, and Kohta are going through a mall filled with "Them".

Kohta: "Man, why the fuck do we have to go through a mall and the girls stay a mile from here?"

Takashi: "Cause Y/N's 'gift' won't benefit an entire group. Or not yet at least. Besides, we're just grabbing some batteries and computer parts, then we'll get out before they can follow us."

You looked around until you saw an electronics store.

"I see the electronics store," you said. "Stay right behind me and don't make a sound."

Takashi and Kohta nodded and followed you.

"Move," you said to 'them'.

The infected victims moved out of the way just as you told them to. You and the two other men made your way to the electronics store and Takashi gently closed the door.

Kohta: "I still find it hard to believe we made it past those guys like they were nothing."

"Not nothing. They'll still be attracted to sound."

Takashi: "I'll grab the batteries. Kohta, grab any computer parts you can carry. Y/N, see if you can find any earpieces. It'll be easier to talk to the others without drawing too much attention."

You went around the store and saw multiple walkie-talkies and earpieces. You grabbed them and put them in a bag.

Takashi: "Okay, we got everything."

Kohta: "And there's a fire escape in this store. We're good."

"You guys go. I'll catch up."

Takashi: "You sure?"

Kohta: "Yeah, you sure you're okay with walking through 'them'?"

"I'm sure."

Takashi: "Stay safe."

Takashi and Kohta went through the fire escape as you went back to the way you came. You looked around the mall and remembered the time you were in one with his family. Your sister would drag you away from your parents and get ice cream together.

"I miss you guys," you sighed. "If only we had people like Takashi and the others during that moment. I'll keep living for you guys."

You walked out of the mall and back to the group, who then went to a fortified town and traded the computer parts for supplies, while you were spending time with Shizuka at the nearest movie theater.

"Still not used to this many uninfected people."

Shizuka: "You got people that care about you."

"Saya is still skeptical about me, and Kohta is rather envious of my abilities even though I tell him that I'm not overjoyed about them."

Shizuka: "They'll get over it."

"Don't make assumptions. That hardly leads to positive results."

Shizuka: "I still think they'll come around. Why don't we head to our rooms? It's at a motel."

"Sure. Why not?"

You and Shizuka went to a motel with the others and enter the rooms for the night. You decided to shower since it's been a while and got in. In the shower, you thought about everything that's happened and were left surprised how it all went by so quickly.

You heard someone opening the door and saw Shizuka without clothes.

(Author's Note: This may be pushing it by a little much, but eh.)

"Uh... Ms. Shizuka..." you said, so utterly embarrassed at the sight of her. "Am I in the wrong room?"

Shizuka: "No, but it's my job as a nurse to help."

"I am trying to come to terms with everything. I do appreciate you and everyone for helping me."

Shizuka hugged you from behind.

Shizuka: "I'm still here to help you. A boy like you needs all the help you can get."

"I guess," you sighed.

You continued to blush, but felt the warmth of Shizuka's words and her determination to help you.

"I don't feel like I'm 'fading' as much," you thought.
