Chapter Three

Jin stood in a spacious walk-in closet, surrounded by an impressive collection of clothes. As he prepared for his upcoming date with his fiance, he wasn't sure where they were going to dinner, so it made it harder for him to choose a shirt.

He knew how seriously Chung Jae took their dates, so he carefully spun around, surveying the shirts hanging before him. Each one held the potential to convey a different mood or style. He evaluated the colors, patterns, and fabrics with each twist and turn, envisioning how they would complement his features and resonate with his fiance's preferences.

Jin was deep in thought, considering various options to find the perfect combination of sophistication, comfort, and a touch of charm.

"I thought you would've been ready."

Jin swiftly turned around as soon as he heard Chung Jae's voice. He stood, placing his hands on his hips, and expressed frustration, "Sorry, I couldn't find a shirt to go with these pants, but I found one now."

As Jin reached for a shirt on a hanger, he was unexpectedly pulled into Chung Jae's arms, causing the shirt to fall. "I missed you." Chung Jae leaned in and kissed Jin's lips, wrapping his arms tightly around his waist.

Jin pulled back, raising a questioning eyebrow, "did you?"

"Yes-"

"Really? Yet, you seemed content with our lack of conversation or communication over the past week."

"That's because I was feeling upset and hoping you would reconsider your decision regarding the job. I still don't understand why you attended a job interview or accepted a job offer.

Being engaged to me has provided you with a fulfilling life where all your needs and desires are met. Please take a moment to observe the closet in which you are currently standing. Do you realize how many people would be envious of the life you possess?

Yet, instead of appreciating it, you are attempting to work. I am disappointed because my vision for you is not aligning with reality, which is upsetting. I considered reaching out to your father-"

"What? Are you serious?" Jin was in disbelief as he stepped back from his fiance and stared at him.

"I thought about it, but I didn't. However, I will if you keep acting the way you are. You are not single anymore. It would help if you began thinking before doing things without my input.

Despite your blatant disrespect and complete disregard for my opinion as your fiancé, I will be the bigger person because I believe in being good. Therefore, I'll overlook your behavior this time and allow you to work for a month, considering my upcoming travel plans."

While listening to Chung Jae, Jin reached for his shirt to put it on, not wanting to waste any more time listening to a lecture.

"Also, earlier, when you called, you mentioned traveling. I want to clarify that I do not want you to travel. If traveling is required for that job, I highly suggest you quit it."

Jin, feeling frustrated, looked at his fiance and asked, "Do I ever tell you what you can or cannot do?"

"No-"

"Exactly! Why do you have such a strong desire to exert control over my life? I have accepted the job, and my decision remains unchanged. I told them that I would be traveling..." Jin hesitated when he noticed the expression on Chung Jae's face.

Taking a deep breath, he approached Chung Jae and calmly expressed, "I would prefer if we could avoid arguing about this. However, I want to clarify that I am unwilling to give up the job. I have already informed them that traveling will not be an issue."

Chung Jae firmly shook his head, "You enjoy provoking my anger. Seokjin, do you not understand that making decisions without my input is unacceptable?"

"I don't understand why you are feeling upset. I didn't do anything wrong. I swear if you keep... forget it!" Jin shouted angrily and abruptly left the closet.

"Seokjin, get back here!"

*****

"I am sorry." Chung Jae leaned close to Jin's ear and whispered before kissing him. "I regret raising my voice at you earlier. I don't have any issue with you working; it's just not something I had anticipated you wanting to do. However, it has made me reflect on whether I am fulfilling my role as a provider and taking care of you the way you want me to."

Jin sipped his water and shifted his gaze towards Chung Jae. His eyes softened upon hearing his words, prompting him to lean closer to Chung Jae's chest.

With a gentle tone, he advised, "Please quit thinking like that. My decision to work is unrelated to you. Being a stylist has always been my dream, and although I appreciate the life you have provided me, it doesn't prevent me from holding onto my dreams. I hope you can support me with this."

Chung Jae gently took Jin's hand and kissed him, whispering, "I will. I must say, I admire the fact that you are wearing your ring. I nearly believed that you had forgotten about it."

Jin's gaze shifted towards his official engagement ring, a substantial piece of jewelry he typically refrained from wearing unless it was a significant event. However, since Jungkook had taken his backup engagement ring, he had no option but to wear it.

"I lost the other ring and didn't want to be without one."

"How did you lose it?"

"It had become slightly loose on my finger-"

"You should've told me. I will get you another one. I understand you haven't fully adapted to this one, but I prefer it when you wear it."

"Thank-"

"Can I get you anything to drink tonight?" The server surprised them as he appeared.

"Umm, can I see your wine list-"

"We will not be drinking tonight." Chung Jae assertively interrupted Jin and promptly informed the server. "Now, it's time for our main course. Bring us two orders of my usual, without garlic butter on his steak."

"Okay, sir, will do." The server bowed and walked away.

Jin tried to distance himself from Chung Jae, but Chung Jae held him tightly. "It's been a while since we last had sex," he said. "I would like you to be sober and focused tonight. Tomorrow, while I am not home, you can enjoy a glass of wine."

"A glass of wine would not have affected me," Jin muttered and sighed deeply.

Chung Jae noticed Jin's sigh and signaled the server to bring the wine list. "Don't get anything too strong. You are not good with alcohol."

"Okay."

*****

Jin adjusted the towel around his waist while searching his bag and the night table drawer. He felt a sudden startle as he sensed Chung Jae's presence behind him and his hand resting on his waist.

"Did you prep while you were in the bathroom, baby?" Chung Jae asked and kissed Jin's neck.

"I did-" His words were abruptly cut off as the towel was yanked away from his waist, and Chung Jae forcefully pushed him onto his back, pinned down on the bed.

He was left breathless as Chung Jae grasped his thighs, parting them, his exposed body looming over him, "I've been craving you."

"Jae, wait, I can't find my pills."

"What pills?" Jae inquired, his hand gripping tightly around his throbbing cock as he coated it with lube. With hunger in his eyes, he positioned himself against Jin's entrance, ready to plunge deep into the depths of pleasure.

"My birth control pills. Could you please wear a condom tonight? I believe there might be some in the drawer-" Jin's words were silenced by a sharp gasp and a throaty moan as Chung Jae pressed himself inside him.

"Jae-" As Jin attempted to speak again, his words were abruptly silenced by the kiss of his fiancé, who embraced him tightly as he thrust deeper into him.

*****

"I love you, Seokjin." Chung Jae said and kissed Jin on the cheek. "I hope you are not upset about last night. You know I don't wear condoms."

"I know, but I told you I wasn't on the pills. It was just last night, you could have worn it, I could get pregnant-"

"There is nothing wrong with you becoming pregnant. I am prepared to embrace the role of a father." Chung Jae suggested, gently pulling back the sheet and caressing Jin's thigh, "Perhaps we should consider trying again to ensure your chances of getting pregnant." He said, smiling.

Jin's eyes widened as he exclaimed, "Are you crazy? We haven't even gotten married yet, and I-"

Chung Jae gripped Jin's face, crashing his lips against his, while he shifted his position on the bed to loom over Jin.

Jin firmly pressed his hands against Chung Jae, "You need to wear a condom. I'm being serious. I am not ready for us to have kids, especially considering the fact that I have just started working."

"That's why you need to quit!"

"Please stop."

"Jungkook, I understand that you may find Seokjin attractive, but it's important to remember that he is engaged and also here to work. As a reminder, according to the agreement you signed, engaging in any form of romantic involvement with anyone working here is also prohibited. Please ensure that you return Seokjin's ring to him when he arrives today and maintain a professional attitude." Hoseok spoke firmly, hoping to get his words across to Jungkook.

"I haven't signed any agreement," Jungkook stated, reaching over to Hoseok's desk and casually grabbing a candy from a jar. "Also, it's not necessary for me to remember details that aren't important or relevant."

Hoseok was on the verge of challenging Jungkook's words when a knock suddenly sounded at his office door. "Who is it? I am in a meeting."

"It's Seokjin. Do you have a moment?"

"Yes, Seokjin. Please come in." Hoseok spoke and directed a warning glare toward Jungkook.

Jungkook smirked and turned his attention toward the door, but his smirk faded as he realized Seokjin was not alone.

Jin apologized with a bow, "I sincerely apologize for interrupting your meeting. My fiancé is leaving the country today and wouldn't leave without visiting my workplace and meeting with you."

Hoseok quickly stood up and wiped his hands before approaching Jin and Chung Jae. With a smile, he greeted Chung Jae, "It's great to see you here! I am Jung Hoseok, and I am currently responsible for overseeing the department where Seokjin is working."

Chung Jae smiled warmly as he embraced Jin, pulling him closer into his arms. As he did so, he made eye contact with Hoseok. "I have a busy schedule, but since my fiance has recently taken up a new hobby of working, I felt it was important to make time to visit. I am confident that he will receive proper care under your supervision at work."

"Of course, that's nothing to worry about. All our employees are well taken care of-"

"I prioritize Seokjin's safety and well-being above all else, and my concern is solely focused on him rather than other employees. As the supervisor of his area, I expect you will comprehend this. Also, there is a chance he is pregnant, and I don't-"

"Jae!" Jin yelled out in disbelief.

"Out of all the men in the world, he chose an asshole as his fiance," Jungkook said as he made himself known.

"Jungkook-"

Chung Jae's gaze quickly shifted towards Jungkook, who he immediately recognized, "Mind your fucking business."

Jungkook chuckled and replied, "It's funny that you mention that." He approached the group, stating, "However, even though Hoseok is responsible for the area where Seokjin works, he will be working directly with me. Therefore, that responsibility falls on me to ensure his safety and well-being. In other words, in case you are slow, this is my business."

When Jungkook saw the sour look on Chung Jae's face, he smiled, "Anyway, I have a photoshoot scheduled, and I don't believe it would be productive for me to continue this conversation. Therefore, I will be leaving now. Seokjin, don't make me wait. I hate waiting, and you know I can't get dressed without your assistance and comforting words about how good I look."

Jin's eyes widened in response to Jungkook's words, and he felt Chung Jae's hand tighten around him.

"I don't want you working with him."

"Jae, please, stop." Jin tried to whisper as he felt uncomfortable with the situation, especially in front of Hoseok.

"Seokjin, I am serious-"

"You are giving this asshole too much attention when your actual job here is to focus on me," Jungkook said as he appeared, took hold of Jin's hand, and pulled him along with him, leading him out of the room.

Hoseok saw the angry look on Chung Jae's face and immediately could predict what would happen, so he ran and blocked the doorway, "Jungkook has an important photoshoot. Seokjin is hired to ensure it goes well. I can't have you interfering with it."

"Interfering with it? How dare you? Do you know who I am?" Chung Jae yelled.

"Yes, you are an asshole, according to Jungkook."

"I will ensure you don't have a job after this!" Chung Jae said as he took out his phone. "Don't think I don't know the owner. He will gladly get rid of you."

Hoseok stood and watched as Chung Jae made a phone call. He rolled his eyes several times as he listened.

"No, that's not necessary. I need this one worker fired and a so-called model you might want to remove...Ju Hoseok or something like that, he is disrespectful, and the model-"

Hoseok smiled as he saw Chung Jae's eyes widen.

"How does my husband feel about you wanting to fire me? That's also Jungkook's brother, so please tell him your thoughts on Jungkook too."
