This is a little bit of a rant.

Kings of Leon (made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill) have been going for quite some time at this point, so their style has changed a lot over the years. What I don't understand is why fans of their older albums say that they've left their old music behind, they've conformed to pop music and the fans now don't appreciate their older stuff because "everyone only likes them past Only by the Night".

No. You're wrong.

On the WALLS tour I remember them playing Molly's Chambers and everyone was singing along, the same goes for Fans, Sex On Fire, Supersoaker and Over.

But back to style change. A bands style is very much likely to change, even if it's significant or minor. If people don't like their newer stuff why not just stick to their old  stuff then and not make a comment on newer music??? Difficult idea to grasp? I don't think so.

Anyways, I hadn't listen to WALLS in quite a while so I decided to put it on to see if it was as good as I remember. The second it started it felt like I was hearing it for the first time again and that was a great experience. The journey from Waste a Moment to Walls is something special, which is why it inspired me to write something using that album.
