JUNGKOOK'S POV:

"JUNGKOOK?!"

hear a familiar, deep-surprised voice taking my name. I can see a figure near my new mom, maybe the brother? I got excited as well as nervous as I ran downstairs. When I got nearer to the stiff boy... I froze.

TAE'S POV:

Am dreaming? Is that Jungkook? Is he that "step" brother of mine? what? No!

"Do you guys know each other already? Mom shakes me out of my thought as I look at frozen, shook Jungkook. I half nod and half shake my head. As turn to my mom. She noticed both of us getting pale and gave us confused and suspicious look at the same time.

"Hey! did you they both introduced?" 'Dad' came smiling.

"Looks like they already know each other?" I couldn't figure out if mom answered or questioned.

"Is that true, kook?" He glanced at Jungkook and waited for the answer.

"No, dad- I mean yes!" Jungkook said still facing the ground as I nod.

"Really? but how?" Mom exclaimed as I can clearly see excitement in her face.

"J-Just C-classmates" Jungkook stuttered. Repeating it again, he stuttered. Though I don't know his personality but I at least know that he is not that type of person. Nervousness? Shyness?

"Alright kookie, don't feel uncomfortable I am sure you'll get to know each other very soon" I see... his dad is really good at managing the awkward air, especially when it comes for his son. Wait, what? KOOKIE? Omg-

"O-Ok dad" He fake smiled and ran upstairs as fast as he could.

"Don't worry he is always like this when it comes to strangers, I hope you two will manage it soon" i too fake smile, nod and run to my room. And suddenly realize what has happened, mom dated another man, she hid that until we literally shifted, and lastly got JUNGKOOK as my BROTHER?!!!.. What's going on? How will I be able to stay here?

I just wanted a good life with happy family. I thought this was going to be the end of my loneliness but- JUNGKOOK? ARGHH...!

~TIME SKIP~

I didn't get out of my room until I was called for dinner. I ran down and sigh of relief, not seeing Jungkook around. Mom was working in kitchen as dad was already in the table, welcoming me with a wide grin. I must say he seems like a really good man. I smiled back as I made myself comfortable with the chair. Mom plated the dinner and I was happy to eat a dinner by mom but soon the happiness slipped as Jungkook came and placed himself as far as possible from me.

The dinner would be perfect if the awkwardness didn't existed. Mom and Dad chatted a little but soon everyone would go silent and focus their plates and bowls. We all cleared our plates and waited mom to bring the rice cakes, which she made as dessert. As the dish was brought mom and dad shared a glance and nodded before dad said.

"Eh..Kids" I looked surprised at him as he continued. "So, I don't force you both to stay with each other all the time but maybe mom wants to say something to you guys" Dad smirked as mom sighed. I turn my head towards mom and she began.

"We were just planning to go shopping tomorrow, and you two will have to stay home" She paused to check our reactions I was completely shocked and I can say that Jungkook got a mini heart attack. "Guys! it won't be a big deal and I bet you both can manage cooking for snacks" She smiled and went to do the dishes. I and Jungkook got up at the same time and moved, almost bumping at each other as dad chuckled.

I am not sure what the hell is going on? so many things at the same time! But I'm sure Mr. Jungkook is not going to step out of his room tomorrow but what about cooking? I just wish it was a dream, bad dream...I slap myself but no! It's real life. ARGHHH....I mess my hair and jump in bed, almost killing the squeezed pillow. And force myself to sleep hoping to wake up in my old house....house without any dad or brother...
