JUNGKOOK POV

And all I wanted was to sleep.

I swear if this note is a threat of some kind I'm just gonna jump off this fucking building and say fuck you to my position as the top gang leader.

I took the paper off the ground while grumbling to myself.

I'm fucking ready to stab the person who wrote this.

Thank you again for saving me and I still haven't done anything to repay you so I insist you come get some bubble tea or whatever it is you wanna drink with me!

Okay so maybe I won't kill the person who wrote it... But it if had been a threat. I would have. Don't test me.

I neatly placed the paper on the counter and punched in the number on my phone before doing my night stuffs and jumping into bed.

I need to text today or he'll feel like I don't want to hang out with him. I need to be a good neighbor. I need to keep up the act as well.

I pulled up his contact labeled Taee 🐯.

TAE TIGER POV

I slipped a paper under Jungkook's door around 7 or 8 just incase he wasn't home. I went to sleep not getting a reply and I slept around 11!

The next morning, I woke up feeling a new sense of enlightenment. I toke my phone and was greeted by something I was waiting for.

Sure Tae! When you wanna
Go get our bubble tea?

I'm sorry I didn't get to you
Sooner.

I've been super busy today.

I smiled to myself a little. Thank the lord he answered.

I set my phone down and got myself ready for breakfast. Jin was in the kitchen, Jimin was watching TV and Hobi was on his phone.

"Jin hyung." Hobi said without looking away from his phone. "I want a computer"

"Look kid, I ain't your fucking mom." Jin rolled his eyes and Hobi did the same. "You and Jimin are going for your training on the job today. Then you'll have money so, save up, and spend that shit on that computer you want."

"Right... Anyways, Taehyung?" Jimin said, looking at me sideways. "You're good with going with the guy right? Namjoon said that you will be lead by another guy, their boss, to where you're to work."

I nodded and took my phone out when I felt the ding.

"We're lucky the cafe is just around the corner or we'd get our asses kicked for being late." Jimin complained as we entered the said cafe. It was 8:39am and Jimin and Hobi were to be there by 8:45 and I'm staying here until 9:00 when the boss was supposed to come.

I ordered myself a small green tea to open my day. Jiminie and Hobi were already learning their duties behind the counter. Jimin was blushing when he was around the mint haired man and so was Hobi... 

By the time the clock hit 9:00 the door swings open with a tingle of bells and a brown haired man walked in. I couldn't see his face but his frame looked familiar. He walked up to the counter and called the mint haired man, 'Yoongi'. The said man pointed to my table and the other man turned around.

AUTHOR POV

Jungkook was surprised to see Taehyung at the table Yoongi was pointing at.

"Taehyung?"

"Jungkook?" They said in unison. Yoongi was in the background giving looks of disgust. This hit way too close to a K drama for his liking.

"So you're the one I'm interviewing and giving a job to?" Jungkook said with a raised eyebrow. Tae felt sassy today.

"And you're the boss that's supposed to give me a job?" Taehyung said while mimicking Jungkook's raised eyebrow. Jungkook bursted our into laughter.

The two employees stopped a bit to look at the hysterically laughing Jeon Jungkook and then at each other, they slowly cracked a smile. Usually when Jeon laughs like that, it's maniacal but this one was genuine and it was because of Taehyung.

Jungkook stopped laughing and wiped a tear. He actually started laughing because of how Taehyung had attempted to raise a brow but failed drastically when both brows refused to stay down so his face looked alarmed and not intimidating whatsoever.

"Since were here already. Wanna get our bubble teas?" Jungkook suggested. Taehyung smiled just box smile and stood in line to order. He made sure be got what Kook wanted. The Namjoon guy what the one to help me.

"It's the first time I saw him laugh genuinely in a few months." Namjoon states he leaned closer. "Thank you. Please make him happier. I think he likes you."

There was a pleasing tone to his voice and his aura was that of care, achievement and worry. Jungkook was definitely not just a boss to Namjoon and Taehyung didn't need a blinking sign to figure that out. Taehyung smiled, blushing a bit and nodded when taking his and Jungkook's order.

"What'd he tell ya?" Kook asked when Tae handed him his banana milk bubble tea. "Something along the lines of major jerk, or brat is what I'd assume."

There was a lighthearted atmosphere to this all as they walked together to the place Jungkook works most of the time.

"Actually he told me to keep you happy." Tae replied sipping his strawberry milk bubble tea. Jungkook's face went expressionless for a few seconds before he murmured an 'oh.' They stayed quiet for one block but it was a comfortable kinda quiet. "So where is it that you work?"

Jungkook started to smile again.

"The Art Gallery." Jungkook said his eyes twinkling. "I always wanted to be an artist of some sort, but now I just own an art gallery."

"Wow.... you own the cafe and the art gallery?" Taehyung said with awe. Jungkook nodded, siping his drink.

"I also own Jeon Corp." Taehyung remembers reading about that. Jeon Corp was a huge and known company. "But I'm not the CEO, the CEO works for me though. If he ever dare do anything without consulting I can just replace him with someone else or myself."

"Why do you live in our apartment when you can clearly afford a mansion?" Taehyung asked, curiosity intertwined with his words with hints of disbelief .

"I'm actually planning to move soon and get Namjoon and Yoongi Hyung, the guys in the cafe, to move with me. I'm just finishing some paper work." Something in Taehyung dimmed when he heard Jungkook was moving and he quieted down. Deep in thought. "I didn't move earlier because I wanted to make sure I'd be secure first..."

Jungkook zones off after a bit and they arrive at the Greek museum like art gallery. There was a light 'wow' from Taehyung as they enter.

"OH MY GAWD, APHRODITE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THAT!"
