Chapter 1 - Heaven to Virtual Trash

Kim Taehyung POV

"Fuck." I whispered under my breathe when the council called up yet another witness for my unfortunate life.

"And what did he do to you Ten?" Aphrodite said with pressed lips. Seventh time in count and she is completely done with me. It seemed like the whole place was up against me. This is the eleventh person.

"I clearly said that I would like to be the Tenth person in line to tell this bastard to go to hell." He said matter a factly.

"I asked what he did to you, not why you weren't the tenth person to talk." She starred at him blankly. She was about to get the guard to take him out of the grand court room for pulling the time but was stopped just shortly.

That's too bad.

"Jeez Jisoo, calm down there." Ten said putting his hands up in mock surrender. "Last week, I went to the pond Narcissus die at, you know the one that goes straight to Styx?"

Everyone nodded at him, duh everyone knew Styx even if they haven't heard of Nacissus. Let me elaborate, Styx is hell's water. Narcissus is a douche bag who was too much up his ass to care about anyone but himself and his beauty. I remember how he just stared at himself.

He was a creep.

He was beautiful no doubt but like I kinda got mad at him after he rejected Echo. Welp. I kinda was the one who pushed him in the pond. Whoops. But he deserved it. He just drowned and now apparently still staring at himself at the bank of Styx. That Prick.

"The bastard pushed me in!" Ten said flailing his arms wildly making him remind me of a goose. "I plummeted into Styx and where I landed was Hydra territory. I had to run for dear life and in the process I meet Satan himself! Like I'm lucky I'm even here! By the way, Satan says hi." Aphrodite or Jisoo just roled her eyes. She then looked at me.

"Care to explain yourself?" She raised a eyebrow at me.

"I mean... he kinda deserved it?" I said questioningly. Actually it was a petty cause. He stole my golden apple the week before I pushed him in. Ten was just there to get a dragon plant for his alchemy studies. I found my chance and pushed him into the water, teleporting him instantly to Styx. Since we angels can't really die in heaven unless willing to. Styx for us is just a useless portal no one uses because it leads to Hell. Who wants to go to hell?

"That's not a good explaination Tae. This was your last chance to be a better Empath and you pull another stunt? I'm sorry hun but you're gonna have to learn to be a better Angel." She looked out at the crowd and back at me."I deem him guilty."

There was a low cheer in the background. They seemed happy. I always question how I made it to heaven sometimes and why I'm an EMPATH out of all things.

"I'm sending you to Earth." There were a lot of gasps in the background. If I had that chance a few centuries ago when I first died, I would've rejected it. Now I'm just curious to know how it changed in the last I don't know.. eight hundred years? "I am also revoking your wings untill you earn them again. This will make you unable to teleport back to Heaven at will. Revoking your wings also makes you a fallen angel. I will leave your Empathy because that's what you need to relearn."

With that the court was sealed and I was to head out.

Fucking fantastic.

No one has gone to Earth for centuries now and we don't really know what to expect. After the trail Jisoo came up to me and took my wings. That shit hurted. She practically ripped them off of me. They turned into black markings that look like tattoed wings on my now flat back. She informed that I still have wing but if I use them they will wither and turn black then fall off. Kinda like a few times use thing. She also told me that I could bring along a companion and anyone who wishes to follow. I choose Jimin, my best friend but in the end Jisoo planned to send Jin with me as well.

"You fucked up this time." Ten said to me as he was passing by. I glared at him. He stopped in his track hesitantly and pulled me into a hug. "I'm gonna miss you bud. Though I hate to admit it at times, things are going to get boring without you."He sent a cheeky smile and flew out of the court.

We always do this. He pulls something and I pull something back. But I'm not supposed to and that's why I'm being sent back to Earth to earn my way back to heaven.

I'm an Empathy, I'm not supposed to be the cause of pain. He's an Alchemist. He's can do anything that is tolerable for angel statue.

Fuck segregation.

That evening we were lead to the portal. We were given money, which was weird cause we don't need it in Heaven and some human clothes, not the golden or white robes we normally wear. They informed us that we have a rented apartment in Gangnam, Seoul and that if we show the address to a human they will most likely tell us the way.

Gotta say I look nice in the fit they gave me.

They also informed us that the money they gave us is just enough for paying the food coverage for about a week so we need a job.. er... I need a job cause Hobi and Jimin can comeback whenever. The council was willing to pay the rent cost so that I could focus on 'improving myself' or whatever, but they gave me a time limit and if I exceed it I will have to start paying the rent too. We nodded our heads.

For now, Jimin, an Empath angel AKA the perfect Empath, and Hoeseok, Archeangel of Joy, my other BFF are accompanying me.

Hobi was a last minute cause because he said he wanted to see 'how people spread hope'. Jin did not wanna come with us just yet. He is an archeangel so he has some duties to attened to. But Hobi? I didn't invite him thinking he'd be busy being an archangel and all. 'Joy is everywhere!' Was what he said when he decided to come. Explains his lack of use in the council. They always questioned what he was doing there.

I took a deep breathe. This is it.

I stepped through the portal and was greeted to a cold and desolate alley way and a metallic smell. The building structures looked quite different to what I had seen here over a thousand years ago. It looked like a bleak version of Heaven's buildings. Jimin stepped through and looked at everything intently. Hobi walked through and made a starfish pose. Perhaps he expected to see people.

It was only fair to voice out what I thought of the place then and there.

"This place is a dump."
