Chapter 63: Go have a great future!
Sash^
(Ravine POV)
"Ravine Rochester, Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, Cum Laude!" The announcer said before I marched my way upstage with dad and little Milo. The dean moved my tassel to the other side before congratulating me. He then gave me my bronze medal that I highly deserved and worked hard for.
"Congratulations, Mr. Rochester. Your diligence has made you come a long way." He said. I then stepped to the center of the podium and bowed gracefully before making my way down to the other side of the stage with dad and Milo at my side.
Soon enough, I heard my boyfriend's name being announced and I ran all the way in front of the huge projector screen to take a video of his graduation picture.
"Sash Mikey Spencer, Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, Magna Cum Laude."
Sash is probably the jack of all trades because despite his numerous absences due to his acting job, he still managed to make it to the Magna Cum Laude list and that is impressive as hell. As soon as he got his silver medal from the dean, he did a majestic bow and hurried down the stage towards me. He then grabbed me by my face and kissed me passionately. Afterwards, he carried me in his arms and spun me around playfully which made me giggle in his ears.
He put me down and suddenly, J.T. and Clare came towards us before telling us to save it for later because there are people looking at us with malicious looks. Oh, I forgot. This is a Conservative University. I also forgot the fact that Sash is quite famous so I have no doubt in my mind that these gossipers will definitely spread the news of Sash kissing another guy.
There are a few people who approached Sash and asked to have their picture taken with him. One of them turned to me.
"Are you his girlfriend? Wow! You're so lucky to be with such a handsome and smart guy like him." The girl said to me.
Oh, I forgot too...that I also look like a girl. This is my androgyny saving me from the potential attacks of conservatives against gay people. Sash took his time with his fans before going over to us.
"Guys, what do you say we go straight to our after-grad party? Let's not finish this ceremony anymore." He asked.
"Sure thing!" J.T. said.
"I am totally down for that." Clare added.
"Let's do it." I said. We went to our respective parents and informed them about our plans and strangely, they all agreed to it. Once we're all about to leave, I remembered someone.
"You guys can head over there if you want. I will follow soon after. I'll just be meeting someone before I part ways with Growling Tigers!" I said to my friends.
"Alright! Don't be late though." Sash said before I dashed my way to my course building one last time to thank someone that have been there for me since day one. I hurried and I barged in her office, startling the daylights out of her.
"Sister Charity!!" I screamed.
"Good God! Please, bless this child, oh Lord, and give him the strength to not give people heart attacks." She joked.
"Sorry! I just came in to say thank you for all the help you have done for me and for helping me finish my memoir. I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for being a true friend to me." I said before we did an affectionate hug.
"Oh...I almost forgot!" She said before giving me a book. I looked at her curiously before opening it and to my surprise, it was my memoir that has been book bound neatly so that it would look legit.
"Wow! You didn't need to, you know. I could have printed it myself." I said.
"No, it's fine. It's such a good piece, you know. It's so much of a good work that I knew then and there that I had to go to the best book binding shop out here so that the cover will be as beautiful as the content of it." She complimented which made me blush.
"I am flattered, thank you so much again for everything. Thank you for believing in me." I said to her one last time.
"Go have a great future, Vinny. You deserve it." She said.
"I promise I will visit you more often. If I become J.K. Rowling-famous, I will never forget you and you will be the first person I will thank for my fame." I vowed.
"Now, go out there and kick some ass." Sister Charity said before waving goodbye to me and letting me do my thing.
Now, let's see where this will take me. You better watch out, you pricks who underestimated me. If I wasn't noticeable back in high school, I am going to show you the revitalized version of myself now. I am going to make all of you remember who I am.
