(Ravine POV)

"You can sleep here on the spare mattress for a while if it's okay with you." J.T. said.

"It's perfectly okay with me. Thank you for making me crash here by the way." I said.

"No problem. It just sucks that you and Sash had to go through that, you know." She told me.

"Yeah but it's perfectly normal anyway. I mean what kind of couple do you think we are if we don't have our own misunderstandings every once in a while?" I said.

"Good point!"

All of a sudden, my phone started ringing and I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Ravine, where the fuck are you?" Sash said.

"I'm with Jamie. Don't worry about me, Sash. I'll stay with her for a while, okay?" I said.

"You know what? We can't resolve our issues if you are going to keep walking away from me." Sash berated me.

"Space, Sash! Space is what we need right now." I said as I reiterated the word.

"Ravine, please return to our dorm already. I'm waiting here."

"Sash, I'll return tomorrow, I promise. For now, I am going to stay with Jamie just to have a friend to friend talk with her. I'll be okay." I said before hanging up.

"What'd he say?" J.T. asked.

"He just said to come back already and he's going to be waiting for me."

"He really loves you, doesn't he?"

"Yeah! He does. Do you think that I made the wrong choice of pushing him to do this acting job of his?" I asked.

"Of course not! What you did is very selfless actually. I know you only did that because you're afraid of holding him back but there are some disadvantages as well such as you not having him to yourself anymore and you sharing him with a lot of people." J.T. said.

"I am afraid for us and for our relationship. He said he has to create a rapport and chemistry with Fides for them to convince the director that they can do the job. This is the part where the actors' personal lives can be at stake because you never know if Sash's going to fall out of love with me and fall in love with that Fides over there." I said.

"So he's method acting in short?" J.T. asked.

"Exactly. Why the fuck do they have to date one another for one year if it's just for a film?, I don't get it."

Suddenly, my phone started ringing again and I picked up.

"What sash?!" I screamed.

"Ravine, it's me. It's dad." Dad said.

"Oh fudge! I'm so sorry, I thought it was Sash." I laughed. "Anyway, what's up, dad? Why'd you call?"

"Do you mind if you go home for a while?" He asked in a sad tone.

"Oh...why? Is something wrong?" I said.

"Please, just fly home for a while. Just come back to school after a week. It's urgent." He begged.

"Okay, dad! Sure, I'll book the earliest flight as soon as I can. I'll be there, don't worry." I said to him.

"Thank you, son!" He said before hanging up. After the call, I couldn't help but feel nervous or anxious in a way. Something is definitely up back home and I am going to find out what it is.

"What happened?" J.T. asked.

"My dad is asking me to come home. I don't know why." I said.

"It must be something important then." She replied.

"Probably."

The next day...

"I'll stay home for a week. My dad's asking me to come home. He said that it's urgent." I told Sash.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" He said.

"Don't you have to be with Fides?" I asked.

"It's okay. The contract doesn't have control over what I can and cannot do. It just states that we have to go and hang out in public and nothing more. If you want me to fly with you, I can inform my manager about it." Sash stated.

"No, it's okay. You do your thing. This is more of a family matter but thanks anyway." I said to him.

Sash pulled me for a hug and I hugged him back with the same amount of tenderness and affection. Afterwards, he helped me pack my stuff and get ready for my flight the very next day.

I don't know what this is about to be honest. All I know for sure is that Dad's voice was filled with so much grief when he spoke to me and my worriedness grew and grew every single day. Whatever it is, I have to know about it and I have to be there for him. I tried to anticipate what the news will be but I can't. I just can't but I feel like I am not going to like this, not one bit.

My heart started pounding as I dreaded what I am about to hear from him.

Will this concern me? Will this make a huge negative impact upon our perfect family life? I sure hope not. Please, don't let it be that bad.
