(Ravine POV)

"Oh my God! Really?!" Clare was giddy the entire time like a kid going to a candy store.

"How many times do I have to say it?" I rolled my eyes.

"You see, I told you we are going to make him fall in love with you." J.T. said as she has her arm wrapped around my arm.

"And so we did." Clare added while skipping happily on our way to the coffee shop.

When we arrived, we quickly ordered at the counter then made our way to the sofa. As soon as we took our seats, I told them the whole story.

"So basically I was sleeping then somebody came in the dorm. It was Sash and he was fuming. He made me stood up from my bed and confronted me. He asked why I was avoiding him the entire time and I told him that I have feelings for him and then..." I said.

"And then?"

"He kissed me." I said.

"Ahhh!!" Clare screamed that it made all the people stare at us.

"Clare! Goddamn it." I whispered.

"I'm sorry, I just couldn't contain my excitement. After the kiss, what happened next?" Clare asked.

"I pushed him and asked him what the hell he's doing, which made him admit that he has feelings for me too." I said.

"Oh my gosh! I couldn't be happier for you." J.T. said.

"However, I did say to him that we should take it slow and not progress anything further until we're both ready for it. It's actually a strategic move on my part because what Sash doesn't know is I am not going to emotionally attach myself to him yet. I am going to take the moments that I have with him to observe him and monitor his behavior. I am going to be extra cautious this time for me not to experience the same trauma that I had with my previous boyfriend." I said.

"And how will you monitor his behavior if I may ask?" J.T. said.

I whispered something to her then to Clare and their mouth hang agape.

"No, you're not going to do that!" Clare said.

"Oh, you'll be surprised to know what else I can do." I said.

Suddenly, Sash came in the coffee shop and greeted me with a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey there, Vinny!" He said.

"Hey!" I smiled at him.

"So what are you guys talking about?" He asked.

"Nothing that concerns you. Just a bunch of gossips here and there." I said.

"That's such a gay thing to say." He teased.

"Wow! Says the one who kissed me last night." I retorted.

"Come on, stop pretending that you didn't like it." He said.

"Enough." I said before elbowing him.

"Carry on! J.T and I are just going to sit at a different table to give you guys a little privacy." Clare said before moving tables with J.T.

"Guess it's just you and me now, huh?" Sash said in glee.

"Is it really your hobby to irritate people?" I asked.

"Not really, just people I have a crush on." He winked.

"Tsss!" I said before rolling my eyes.

"Anyway, the examination season is about to be over by the end of the week. I was wondering if you'd like to go to a bar with me this Saturday." He said.

"Our first date in a bar?" I asked.

"Hey, this is not just some local bar. It's an elite bar with expensive liquors and they also offer some delicious food." He said.

"How are we going to get there?" I asked.

"I could just ask a friend of mine to lend me his car for one night so I can drive us to the destination." Sash said.

"Alright! I'm on board with the idea." I said.

"I'm about to change your life." He winked and I couldn't help but smirk and blush. Goddamn stupid heart.

In my head, I kept telling myself not to be easily bedazzled by his charm but I could not help it. He is so attractive and humorous. It is so hard not to like him. How the hell can I control my emotional attachment if I am slowly getting fonder of him each day? I don't want to get blinded by this. I can enjoy my romance with him but at the same time, keep my guard up too. I can ensure his loyalty to me through some methods I thought about. I already told J.T. and Clare about it. I am going to see if this will work.
