Rachel's POV:

Will had left the cave- leaving Rachel to wonder what the Hades she was suppose to do. She could hang out with Reyna some more, but that could look weird. She sighed and started to draw again, she started in a piece but stopped.

Pausing just to wonder what the heck she was drawing. It was all crazy, Reyna was there and so was Nico and Will- but the background was crazy with polar bears or apples. Rachel couldn't really tell what she was actually doing! She shrugged it off, but then a horrible image struck.

She quickly abandoned the crazy sketch and flipped to anew page. Like magic her mind just poured out. She could see the smoke surrounding the cabins, the pulled up ground, and she could see the demigods- struggling to even stand. The worse part is- it looked like a new war.

But they had just survived a war! I mean 'seriously can't you gods give us a little break!'
Rachel thought. But one demigod stood out to her the most, it was Reyna. Tears stung her eyes as she continued to draw the image- her hair was stained in blood,, her eyes broken, and she looked seriously injured. Her leg was also bent no leg was suppose to be- well from Rachel's understanding.

"I've got to tell the others." She whispered, ripping the page out and put it in her pocket. She scrambled to her feet, running out of the cave as fast as she could. Unfortunately, she tripped on her own two feet because she- being an idiot, decided to run in the most un-running type shoes that she still had on. Or as she knew them as, her high heels.She fell, tumbling to the ground and taking someone down with her. 

"Hey." Rachel said, "Hey, sorry." Reyna apologized, getting to her feet then helping Rachel up. "It's fine, meant to dirty up these jeans anyways." Rachel said- feeling slightly guilty, Reyna smiled. "Well consider your wish granted." Reyna replied,Rachel was confused- until Reyna took some dirt and smearing it on the knee of Rachel's pants.

"Oh it's on!" Rachel said, getting competitive. Rachel got some dirty from the ground and smeared it on Reyna's shirt sleeve. "Hey, that was my favorite shirt sleeve!" Reyna joked, Rachel smirked. "Oh no! I am so sorry, I had no idea!" She said, putting her hands to her face- imitating the scream by Edvard Munch.

Reyna laughed along with Rachel. "So, not to be nosy- but what were you doing out of the Hades Cabin anyway?" Rachel asked curiously, "I needed a break from the darkness-dating-sunshine couple." Reyna explained. Rachel was once again confused, "You mean Will and Nico?" Rachel asked, Reyna nodded. "Well, while we are on the topic, what are you doing?" Reyna asked her, immediately feeling stupid.

"Well, I was bored.Went to find something to do." Rachel lied, "You still bored?" Reyna asked. Rachel nodded,"You'd think at a camp where you have to fight to stay alive it wouldn't get boring." She said, "Yeah, especially when you have camp activities- oh wait they were cancelled from war. We should really find a way to have more fun other than camp activities and training non-stop." Reyna said, "Yeah, I mean seriously, we are anything but normal!" Rachel complained.

Reyna looked at her, "Rachel, that's a good thing." Reyna explained. "And why is that?" Rachel asked, seeing what Reyna was about to say. "Well, to us-normal is the mortals unnormal...that is totally a word! And to them- their normal is our one way ticket to boring-ville." Reyna explained, Rachel shrugged. "True." Rachel said, looking into Reyna's eyes.

Reyna quickly grew nervous seeing Rachel stare at her, Rachel could tell. She was afraid that she had made Reyna uncomfortable but yet she needed her to go so she could tell Chiron. Rachel finally was out of her daze and her face turned red. "Um..S-sorry." Rachel apologized, "No, it's fine. Can we talk after dinner. You know, alone. In your cave?" Reyna asked, the awkwardness growing by the minute. Rachel nodded, avoiding eye contact- her face still red. "Yeah, sure. See you then." Rachel said, turning around and leaving quickly.

Well, leaving as quick as she could to attempt to make it seem normal. As soon a Reyna was gone she ran to the Big House. Rachel double checked she still had the slip of paper in her pocket. "Check. Now to tell Chiron." Rachel muttered to herself. She quickly got to Chiron's office- ignoring everything around her. "Chiron! I ha-" Rachel said but was interrupted. "Now Miss Dare, I regret to inform you but I am talking to someone. Your needs will have to wait." Chiron said, glaring at Rachel. 

"But Chiron! I had a vision!" Rachel said, hoping to get his attention. "Um, excuse me but my new need for hot pink eye liner!" Drew complained, giving me the death stare. "Um, Drew dear. You'll have to excuse us. This is very serious." Chiron said, Drew looked like she had just been forced to drink spoiled milk mixed with rotten egg(s) smoothie. Rachel looked at Drew, "Excuse us." Rachel said, and Drew pouted and exited Chiron's office. 

"Please Miss Dare sit down. And- if you may- tell me what you saw." Chiron said calmly, I took a deep breath. I stood straight up and took the slip of paper from my pocket. Chiron looked at me questionably, I unfolded the paper- showing Chiron the sketch. "Chiron I think a new war is coming. Or most likely a new enemy." Rachel said, Chiron's eyebrows fused together.

I handed him the paper, he frowned. "Miss Dare, is that Reyna?" Chiron asked me, Rachel nodded. "I believe it is Chiron. But the part that worries me the most is that the ground is pulled up." Rachel explained, Chiron nodded. "It couldn't be Gaea, the 7 sent her back to sleep not long ago. Other than her- there is a lot of hostile things in Greek and Roman 'Mythology'." Chiron muttered, it was so quiet that Rachel could barely hear him. 

"Chiron, the ground coming up- it looks like it was blown up. Maybe we get caught with other kinds of demigods and they cause war like us with the Romans. I mean come on, there is bound to be other gods and demigods out there. There is other Mythology!" Rachel said, Chiron looked at her. "Miss Dare, I am afraid you are right. But if we just assume things we may just make a big deal out of a slight... mind picture." Chiron said, finishing nervously. "Chiron! This isn't just some mind picture! This could be serious!" Rachel protested, "Miss Dare-" 

"Chiron listen to me! This-" Rachel was cut off. "Miss Dare! This vision may mean nothing. In fact this just may be from the latest war! Please- take my advice and think nothing of it. We don't want to concern the demigods who are still recovering only to make it a false alarm!" Chiron argued, "but-" Rachel began. "Please leave Miss Dare. Unless we have more evidence of a prophecy we can't take this as a real threat." Chiron said sternly. "But- you know what whatever!" Rachel said, as she walked out of his office angrily. Drew looked at her, "Well looks like the little Oracle had a vision, more like a glimpse of your failed love life." She remarked snobbishly, Rachel rolled her eyes in annoyance. 

"At least I don't need to make requests for make up that makes you look like you belong in a circus!" Rachel shot back, Drew sneered at Rachel. "Oh I'm little miss prophecy! I can tell everyone what to do because I saw something I don't like. But they don't take it seriously. Oh hon- boo-hoo!" Drew said, Rachel was angry now. But instead of fighting- like she desperately wanted to, she walked away furiously. She was not going to let Drew get her in trouble. I mean seriously, she can't just get in trouble for fighting a teenage clown with terrible makeup- even for a clown.   

Rachel quickly went to the Dinning Pavilion- hoping to just sit there alone. But what she saw kind of surprised her. There, on the Hades cabin bench was Reyna. Her head was put down and she was circling her wrist. Rachel saw her sword by her side, but Reyna still had her head down. Maybe she was asleep? Rachel shrugged, and walked toward her. "Reyna? Rey-Rey you okay?" Rachel asked hesitantly. 

  Reyna groaned- lifting her pounding head up. "I made today a half-bad day." Reyna said, yawning. Rachel had a small smile on her face, "Well how about we make it a good one? Come on- stand up girly!" Rachel said, tugging on Reyna's arm. She had a half-bad day also- why not just make each others days better? Yeah, flaw- that doesn't happen often.

"Noo!" Reyna moaned, only to have been on her feet 2 seconds later. Rachel put her arm on Reyna, supporting the tired girl. "It's not even dinner, can't I just stay here. My head hurts, my feet, hands, and arm hurt also! Can't I just be left alone, or better yet go back to Camp Jupiter!" Reyna said, Rachel felt tears sting her eyes and she felt hurt. Had Reyna felt this was the whole time? Does Reyna hate spending time with her? "You don't mean that. Do you?" Rachel asked softly, Reyna finally looked at Rachel's face.

"N-no. I'm just in a bad mood." Reyna said, noticing the tears that clouded her eyes. The tears were quickly gotten rid of as Rachel calmed herself down. 'Okay, she may like spending time with you.' Rachel told herself.. "O-okay. Well, for starters- why are you in a bad mood?" Rachel asked her, "Um. Well I have a crush and I made the worse mistake of my life with this crush. And now I'm pretty sure I ruined my chances." Reyna explained to Rachel. Rachel got jealous quickly.

'Who was her crush? Probably a guy, most likely. Why hasn't she heard of this? Well I have only known her a few days and maybe that night when Hazel came was a little much. They technically were going a little fast with this. Sure, they were going fast- which is most likely why she has a crush on someone else. I've probably have been kindly friend-zoned.' Rachel thought to herself.

"Well- maybe I can help with that. "Who's this crush you speak of?" Rachel asked, getting slightly more jealous. "No one. Just drop it!" Reyna said, seeing this probably getting more awkward if she actually decided to be truthful about her feelings for Reyna. Even though she was told to drop it- Rachel kept going. She had to know! Well, she would like.

"Tell meeeeeeeeee!" Rachel said loudly in Reyna's ear. "No! Just drop it!" Reyna said, standing up on her own now. "Not until you tell me. I thought we were friends! Why don't you trust me!" Rachel said, tears were in both the girls eyes- each unaware of how much they were hurting each other. "Because it's hard for me to tell people!" Reyna said. Reyna now getting pretty defensive- but Rachel still didn't stop. Rachel looked at Reyna- getting angry at her. "I'm not like other people!" Rachel protested.

"I still can't tell you! Can't you understand that! Please be like the other people just this once and leave it!" Reyna yelled, "I can't leave it if it's making you like this!" Rachel said, gesturing to Reyna. "Please can't you forget it! I don't want you to know right now!" Reyna said to Rachel, "But you've told me so many other things! What's the difference?" Rachel asked, she had now noticed she had gone like 5,000 feet across the line. "The difference is that I willingly told you them! If you were a good friend you'd accept this!" Reyna yelled, regretting her words instantly- but it was to late to take it back. Rachel's eyes had fire in them, anger was clearly written in the flame of her emerald green eyes. "I-I hate you! I was a fool thinking we were friends!" Rachel screamed, pushing Reyna over the edge. "Exactly the same wish I had!" Reyna whispered, running away angrily.

'What did I just do. And why does my heart hurt?' Rachel thought. Her legs felt like jello- she could barely stand in place. She ran to the Amphitheater, and the dinner horn blew (I have just realized, I have been calling the DINNER PAVILION the MESS HALL the whole time... Well I'm and idiot. Anyway, back to the fanfic..) Herds of demigods came from around her, none of them pushed her down though- which was good. Tears clouded her vision, she could barely see clearly. 

Finally she made it to the Amphitheater, well she thought she did- her vision wasn't very trustworthy at the moment. She let out a deep breath, tired from running so far and sat down on one of the bleachers. "Rach. Get a hold of yourself. You knew you'd never have a chance!" She told her self, putting her head in her hands, and her elbows stabbed her upper thighs. "Just calm down. Stop crying!" She told herself when she wiped away a tear from her cheek.She took deeper breaths, learning that this calms her down a while ago. 

"Rachel-" Will said, taking a breath. "Oh my gods why are you here I-" He took another breath. He was obviously out of breath. "W-what do you want Will?" Rachel asked, cursing at her stuttering. "R-Reyna's hurt. We can't calm her down either." Will said, slowly regaining his breath. "So? What do you need me for?" Rachel spat, not meaning for the words to sound so harsh. "You're like her best friend Rachel! You probably have gotten her to open up once or twice just enough to know how to calm her!" Will said, Rachel looked at him. She wiped a tear from her face again, "One problem William. We had a fight okay! We fought and it ended with me saying I hated her. A-and it was all because I was jealous!" Rachel said, standing up and putting her hands on Will's shoulders.

"Exactly. We think you are the reason she's crying." Will said, his eyes widened. His hands flew to his mouth. "I mean...oops?" Will said, he flinched at his words. "Wait, what? But, I didn't think Reyna cried!  Like ever!"Rachel said, feeling guiltier by the second. "Well, if you started it maybe you could stop it?" Will questioned Rachel. "I'm not sure. But I'll try?" She said, she did tell Reyna she hated her. Maybe cheering her up was the aftermath of what she had to do to mend their relationship? Rachel wasn't sure but she was going to try to fix this anyway, after all she really liked (More like LOVED) Reyna. 

"Come on then!" Will said, and they ran to the Hades cabin. Both where breathing heavily but neither of them cared."Okay, I'm going in." Rachel said once she regained her breath. And Will opened the cabin door. Rachel entered nervously, and saw Nico holding Reyna- which made her a bit jealous but she knew Nico wouldn't ever leave Will. Rachel saw that she (Reyna) hiccuped once or twice then looked up at Rachel. Rachel was frozen, to afraid if she spoke she would hurt Reyna more.

Will- Rachel guessed- was tired of the silence. "Now girls...Do whatever you do." Will demanded them, Rachel finally spoke. She stuttered at first but managed to speak. "H-Hey Rey-Rey." Rachel said, making her voice as loud as she could but only getting a whisper. "Hey Rachey." Reyna whispered back, her eyes were blood shot and her voice weaker than her usual voice- which was powerful and melodic at the same time. Will and Nico stayed silent as the girls looked at each other in heartbreak- but hope in their eyes. Rachel decided she had had enough of the silence that filled the room. She walked toward Reyna, slowly like she might pounce at any moment. Reyna looked at her, and shakily stood up. Both girls where standing up, almost directly looking at each other. 

Rachel heard Will and Nico whisper silently in the room, the tension so thick you could easily cut it with a slip of construction paper. The only sounds where the girls breathing and Solangelo's whispers. "I'm sorry, Rey-Rey- I am so sorry." Rachel whispered, not bothered by her volume anymore. "I-I'm sorry to Rachel. I went to far. I just had a pretty bad other half of the day and I made the wrong choice and took it out on you." Reyna apologized, and Rachel wanted to just grab her guilty face and kiss her. She really needed to get over this crush.

"Friends" Rachel asked, hurt by her own words but she still held out her hand. Reyna hesitated at first before taking her hand. Rachel's heart sped up and her hands felt warm. Rachel admitted to almost wanting to just hug her. Good news- she didn't have to wait. Reyna let go of Rachel's hand (much to Reyna's disappointment) but wrapped her arms around her rib cage. Hugging her, and Rachel instantly hugged back. Rachel had no hesitation or even paused for a second before wrapping her arms around the fierce- but adorable- warrior. Both girls where embraced in the hug, not bothering to look at Nico or Will.

After a few minutes- of which the girls where still hugging- Will coughed. Of course this resulted in Nico kicking his shin, and Will stumbling into Nico's arms. Nico dropped Will unfortunately, making Will and Nico land on the floor with a 'thump'. Both of the girls stared at the couple, Rachel looked at Reyna. Rachel noticed her hair was messier than usual and her braid was... well her braid was really messed up. Nico pushed Will off of him, getting Rachel's attention again. "So girls... since it is Nico's and my 1-month anniversary, I was hoping maybe we could have the Hades cabin to ourselves. And maybe Reyna could stay with Rachel again? Hazel is staying with Annabeth tonight for some girl's night with Piper so she isn't going to be here tonight. Please?" Will asked Rachel and Reyna, giving Rachel the puppy dog eyes. 

Rachel almost laughed out loud, not because of the request. It was just- Will looked like he had a bad taco instead of having a pleading and an adorable face. Reyna smiled, "Okay. Well, if it's okay with Rachel?" Reyna said,looking at Rachel. Rachel nodded, loosing herself in Reyna's eyes- which to her where like a mysterious pit where you have no clue what's in it. In a good type of way though! "S-Sure. That's fine." Rachel finally got to say. Will and Reyna smiled at the same time- which was kind of creepy. Meanwhile, Nico was looking straight up confused. Reyna had no idea why Nico was looking so freaking confused but she shrugged it off. Maybe he didn't think that they would celebrate 1- month anniversaries. 

"Well, Nico and I agreed to do our plan as soon as possible so please, with all due respect- get out of the cabin. "Okay! Okay! I get it we're not wanted! Bye lover boys." Rachel said, and Reyna grabbed her hand. Rachel almost freaked out again, her body filled with the sick but comforting feeling. "Come on Rachel. I guess I'm staying at your cave again. Wait, I don't have pajamas again." Reyna realized, "It's fine. I think I may have something you could wear or we could do what we did last night." Rachel said, "Why didn't you offer me clothes last night?" Reyna asked, Rachel shrugged. "Didn't come to mind last night." Rachel said, both girls walking to the cave. 

'I love you Reyna.' Rachel thought, as the girls where walking- their hands interlocked.
