Rachel's POV  🎒:

Rachel sat once again bored as Nico left her. She opened her sketchbook again, looking at what she had drawn. "It seems so right, but some people think it's so wrong." Rachel said to herself. She picked up her dark green colored pencil and began to work on the trees again. She had zoned out for a few minutes before hearing a knock.

 Rachel thought she head a faint noise. Maybe someone took a deep breath and was spying on her. She shrugged it off, letting it out a sigh because the Strolls were probably behind this. She heard a knock almost echo through her room, secretly hoping it was Reyna she put her pencil down for a second. 

Rachel now guessed it wasn't Reyna, wouldn't she just walk in. Maybe it was Nico? Rachel didn't care who it was anymore. She shook her head before resuming her drawing.

"Come in Nico!" Rachel yelled, her voice echoing somewhat. "I-It's not Nico." Reyna shouted back, Rachel cursed for her stupidity. Of course it was Reyna, they didn't know each other so it made sense to knock! Her stomach felt like it had butterflies again, her heart was racing. Rachel felt sick somewhat, almost looking up from her sketch. Maybe if she didn't look up these unwanted feelings would go away?

'Fat chance.' Rachel thought, "Oh...Well come on in, who ever you are?" Rachel shouted, Reyna slowly walked toward Rachel. Rachel was drawing something, completely unaware of her presence. "Hi.." Reyna said shyly, her voice growing small.

Rachel looked up, looking at her face and smiled, "Hey Reyna!" She said, her voice holding a hint of happiness. Rachel was slowly growing concerned at the rapid chance of emotion Reyna's face held. It seemed like her face would fall apart any second and explode into a pile of emojis. Reyna's smile grew along with Rachel's as they looked at each other in admiration.

Rachel giggled a little, as Reyna looked at her curly- flame red hair. "So, it that your natural hair color?" Reyna asked, after a long silence, Rachel nodded, and closed her sketch book. "Well it beautiful." Reyna said, probably thinking that she had only thought that. Realizing her mistake Reyna blushed madly, "U-um sor-" Reyna began,but Rachel interrupted her. "Don't apologize, it's fine. Thank you by the way." She said, almost as red as her hair. An awkward silence filled the room. After a while the awkward silence, which got strangely comforting after a while.

"So...not to be rude but why are you here?" Rachel asked, cutting through the silence. Regretting the tone of her voice, what the Hades was she doing?! "Well. I wanted to know where to meet up for the coffee and was wondering where Hazel was. I had a talk with her about 2 hours ago and she went to cool off." Reyna said, looking at Rachel.

Rachel felt her face drop. She instantly put on a fake smile, not wanting to worry Reyna. "Oh, um how about we meet at the Hades cabin. I'll pick you up and drop you off. And as of where Hazel is I am not sure. What did you tell her?" She asked, Reyna's eyes held panic. "Oh um...you know, I told her..I got a-a piercing, and she freaked out." She said, Rachel instantly got curious. She looked at Reyna's ears, seeing no ear rings. Maybe she pierced her tongue?

Rachel's mind was filled with curiosity, "C-can I see it?" Rachel asked, nervously. Reyna blushed a little but nodded. "You don't mind if I have to remove this shirt do you?" She asked her embarrassed. "N-No go on..it's just seeing a piercing." Rachel replied, Reyna nodded- probably seeing her point. Rachel looked at Reyna as she started to remove her shirt. Not in a creepy- stalker way, but a kind, friendly way?

She slid her shirt off, getting it stuck on her head though. Rachel noticed she needed help when  she tugged one more time before stopping. "Um..here let me help." Rachel said, helping Reyna pull of her shirt. Suddenly she heard a gasp, it was a female, that was all Reyna knew. Rachel stopped pulling up the shirt, probably looking to see who it was.

Time Skip

Reyna and Rachel quickly scrambled back to the cave. Falling several times because they tripped over each other. Once they got to Rachel's cave they laughed and fell to the ground. "That was-hahahaha- so much fun!" Reyna said, "I can't wait till morning!" Rachel said as she laughed like a mad man.

"Speaking of morning, in gong to see what time it is." Reyna said once they had controlled their laughter. She once again grabbed Rachel's wrist. "Hey, gentle. I am very fragile." Rachel said, almost joking.  "Oh sorry." Reyna apologized, Rachel felt guilty that she had told her that.

She looked at Rachel's watch, no emotion showing. "Rachel." Reyna said, "yep." She said yawning and popping the 'p'. "Guess what time it is." Reyna challenged.Rachel found this competitive side adorable.

Rachel thought for a second, "9 o'clock?" She guessed, "Rachel it is flipping 3 am!" Reyna said, Rachel's eye widened.

"Good night then." Rachel said, pulling down her pants. "Rachel!" Reyna protested, then saw that Rachel had a pair of stretchy leggings underneath. 'Do you really think I would sleep naked and just openly show you down there' Rachel thought, then realized she had told Reyna to sleep in her under garments a few hours ago.  "Geez how many layers do you wear?" Reyna joked, "I've never asked myself that." Rachel answered.

"Well goodnight." Reyna said, pulling off her shirt and taking off her pants shyly. "Reyna I am not going to check you out all night you can sleep naked for all I care!" Rachel said, getting some pillows and blankets from a shelf. She decided just to make a nest of blankets and pillows, quick and easy.

She threw them on the floor, making a nest. She tossed Reyna a blanket. "Thanks." Reyna said as she took the blanket. Rachel secretly hoped that the blanket would be shared between the both of them, but quickly canceled the idea.

Rachel laid on the nest, Reyna laying beside her. Rachel yawned, instantly faking herself falling asleep. Rachel almost smiled at Reyna's next move. Reyna made a bold move, she placed Rachel's arm around her shoulder- covered by a blanket.

Rachel's other arm came with her first. They wrapped around Reyna, and Rachel loved it. Not thinking about the morning, Reyna was almost asleep in her arms. Rachel's heart fluttered, and her arms wanted to stay like this forever. Then, Reyna fell asleep. Rachel carefully removed her arms from around her, and put her head on the her blanket. Her head was so close to her chest that she could hear her heartbeat.

Rachel snuggled deeper, and yawned as she put her arms around her again. Reyna's body heat and the heat from her breathing- soothed Rachel. "I wish you were mine." Rachel whispered before falling fast asleep.

And she dreamed the best dream she thought was possible. She dreamed of Reyna and her kissing in the sunset. Just like in her sketch- that she never showed Reyna.

Another Time Ship:

Rachel's eyes eyed fluttered open as the sun poured into the room from the entrance. She groaned as she wondered why she was in a nest of blanket and pillows. Rachel rubbed her eyes, and sat up. "Morning, sleepy head." Rachel heard Reyna say cheerfully. Wait-Reyna?! Rachel almost had a heart attack right then and there, she had slept on Reyna! Like Reyna as in her crush, friend, and probably as straight as a ruler! "U-Um about last night..." Rachel said, "It's fine."

Reyna said, Rachel swore she could hear her say something else but shrugged it off. She rubbed her eyes before getting to her feet. Reyna had clothes on and Rachel still had her yellow tank top and black legging on from last night. Then Rachel noticed that Reyna had a plate in her hands. "Are those doughnuts?" Rachel asked hungrily. 

Reyna laughed, the morning light making her eyes sparkle like diamonds. "Yeah, I got a box after asking Chiron. He acted weird once I told him what I needed them for.." she said awkwardly. Reyna looked cute, Rachel couldn't deny this. Her hair was a rats nest and her eyes had bags under them- even that to Rachel looked cute. 

Rachel shook out of her daze as she sat next to Reyna on the floor. "Why don't we sit in chairs like normal people?" Reyna asked smiling. "Well Miss Rey-Rey, we aren't normal. We are in a camp of half gods and we see the gods they are the children of occasionally. We are not normal so get used to it." Rachel teased, "You have so many good points. You must be the next famous scientist!" Reyna joked, Rachel giggled and took a chocolate covered doughnut.

"Hey! That was mine!" Reyna said, Rachel bit the doughnut then split it in half. "Here you go, because sharing is caring." Rachel said handing her the other half of the chocolate covered doughnut. "I don't like to share." Reyna said, pulling the plate closer to her and taking  the doughnut. Rachel swallowed her doughnut, and began reaching for another one. 

Reyna popped her hand, Rachel looked into her eyes confused. She tilted her head playfully, "Why can't I have doughnut?" She asked in a voice that sounded her own age divided by 3. "Because babies don't get doughnuts." Reyna said, playing along. "Pweeeeeeease!" 

Rachel said, "Nope!" Reyna replied, popping the 'p' and taking another bite of a new doughnut. "Not even a nibble?" Rachel asked, Reyna had a big smirk on her face. She faked sighed and rolled her eyes dramatically, "If you insist!" She said.

Then, she pushed a straw berry frosted one in Rachel's mouth-missing the target terribly. Frosting spread from Rachel's upper lip from her nose. "H-Hey! Your mean!" She said laughing. Reyna laughed to, their laugh filling the room. Reyna swiped her finger over Rachel's upper lip, and put that finger in her mouth.

"At least you taste good!" Reyna said, causing Rachel to laugh again. "Fine. I am suuuper sorry! Oh please don't punish me mistress Rachel!" Reyna joked, Rachel faked thinking for a second. "Fine, I guess you are fine. This time, but Rey so help me and I will get the-the...um, bad people into this!" She threatened, "Oh no!" Reyna said, faking fear.

They laughed again, just enjoying each others company. "Hey what time is it?" Rachel asked her, Reyna grabbed her wrist. "Um.. it's, 10:45." She answered, "Why?" She asked, Rachel though for a moment.

"Well Reyna, if we want to get coffee by 11 we better get ready to get coffee. And by ready I mean you get some different clothes, seriously- wearing the same clothes twice day after day if gross." Rachel said, Reyna put her hand to her heart jokingly. "Well then, I better go to the Hades cabin then. Be right back, unless you are still picking me up?" Reyna asked, standing up with the plate of uneaten doughnuts.

"Hey, leave the doughnuts and yes, yes I am still picking you up Rey-Rey." Rachel said, Reyna walked out of her cave and turned around. "The doughnuts are mine!" She shouted, "Noooo!" Rachel screamed dramatically. She heard Reyna laugh as her foot steps got softer and softer, implying that she had walked away.
