Reyna's POV 📜:

Reyna waited as Hazel cooled off from her latest discovery. She sighed, bored out of her mind as she looked at the door for anything to do. Suddenly, an idea popped into her mind. She could always just go to Rachel's cave and talk to her. Right? No, Reyna thought- canceling the idea, it was to early in their friendship to just show up at a random moment asking to hang out. Reyna debated for 2 solid minutes about this.

Eventually she decided just to do it, she was praetor after all, she has to be brave. She opened the door, seeing the sun almost setting. Reyna then realized that she had been there- in the Hades cabin for at least a good hour. Reyna decided to just get it over with and started her journey to Rachel's cave.

She thought of many things during the walk, what could go wrong or what could go right. Reyna shook her head of those thoughts as soon as she thought of Rachel and herself kissing with the sunset as their background. "What a silly thought." She muttered, almost stopping in her tracks. She saw Nico and Will swing hands and coming from the front of her. "Hi." She said waving, Nico waved back. But Will grinned ear to ear as if thinking a really good thought.

Reyna shrugged it off, thinking about how he was just overly happy. After all- it was pretty normal to see Will smiling like a blonde haired-blue eyed- version of Chuckie the Cursed Doll. Reyna had ignored the feeling of nervousness in the pit of her stomach and continued to walk until she came to Rachel's cave. She took a deep breath, letting it out shakily- why...well Reyna didn't really know herself. She hesitantly knocked on the side, secretly hoping no one would answer.

"Come in Nico!" Rachel yelled, her voice echoing somewhat. "I-It's not Nico." Reyna shouted back, cursing for her stuttering. Her stomach felt like it had butterflies again, her heart was racing. Reyna felt sick somewhat, almost doubting the idea she had was a good idea upon seeing it in action. "Oh...Well come on in, who ever you are?" Rachel shouted, Reyna slowly walked toward Rachel. Rachel was drawing something, completely unaware of her presence. "Hi.." Reyna said shyly, her voice growing small.

Rachel looked up, her face brightening, "Hey Reyna!" She said, her voice holding a hint of happiness. Reyna was slowly growing concerned at the rapid beating her heart was making, it was more than Jason and Percy made her feel combined and multiplied by 10000! Reyna's smile grew along with Rachel's as they looked at each other in admiration.

Rachel giggled a little, as Reyna looked at her curly- flame red hair. "So, it that your natural hair color?" Reyna asked, finding her voice, Rachel nodded, and closed her sketch book. "Well it beautiful." Reyna thought, not realizing she had said it out loud for 2 seconds. Realizing her mistake Reyna blushed madly, "U-um sor-" Reyna began, but was interrupted by Rachel. "Don't apologize, it's fine. Thank you by the way." Rachel said, almost as red as her hair. Reyna almost laughed out loud at the awkward silence that filled the room. After a while the awkward silence, which got strangely comforting after a while.

"So...not to be rude but why are you here?" Rachel asked, cutting through the silence. I panicked, searching my brain for an excuse. Me, being the idiot I am at this moment decided to go with a true lie type answer. "Well. I wanted to know where to meet up for the coffee and was wondering where Hazel was. I had a talk with her about 2 hours ago and she went to cool off." I -somewhat- lied. Rachel's face dropped some before she faked a smile.

"Oh, um how about we meet at the Hades cabin. I'll pick you up and drop yo off. And as of where Hazel is I am not sure. What did you tell her?" She asked, I panicked once again. "Oh um...you know, I told her..I got a-a piercing, and she freaked out." I lied, I did have a piercing...I just haven't gotten to telling people about it. At least it was believable.

Rachel's eyes filled with curiosity, "C-can I see it?" She asked, nervously.I blushed a little but nodded. "You don't mind if I have to remove this shirt do you?" I asked her embarrassed. "N-No go on..it's just seeing a piercing." She said, I nodded- seeing her point. Her point..made by a smart, beautiful person- with eyes like luxurious green olives that were rip and still on the branch. Hair like a flame- being fed wood in the cold winter nights. Reyna quickly stopped those thoughts from surfacing anymore and began to take off her shirt.

She slid her shirt off, getting it stuck on her head though. She was beet red as she tugged one more time. "Um..here let me help." Rachel said, helping Reyna pull of her shirt. Suddenly she heard a gasp, it was a female, that was all Reyna knew. Rachel stopped pulling up the shirt, probably looking to see who it was.

"H-Hazel?" Rachel said, Reyna swore she could see Hazel now. Ghost white with an expression of terror upon her ghostly face! "What the- Reyna you didn't tell me you were dating her?!" Hazel screamed, "It's not what it looks like!" Reyna said, only for it to be muffled up be the shirt. "Yeah, I am not taking her shirt off for a affectionate purpose! It's because it got stuck!" Rachel said, Reyna heard Hazel quickly to exit the cave. "Well, um shall we continue or is that wrong?" Rachel asked, Reyna shook her head. "I don't think it's wrong." She said, her voice still muddled.

Okay." Rachel said, as they finally got the shirt off.The shirt was off revealing Reyna's ring on her stomach and her 32C black push up bra. Reyna blushed as she caught Rachel staring a little higher than she needed to. Rachel blushed, seeing she was caught. "S-Sorry." She stammered out, Reyna was blushing madly. "I-its fine. I mean we are both girls, right?" Reyna said, looking at Rachel's top half secretly.

Rachel blushed and looked at Reyna's piercing. "So when did you get this?" She asked, playing with the ring on her belly button. "I got it after the war. Kind of like a symbol." She said, Rachel looked at her. "What does it symbolize than?" She asked, Reyna smiled sheepishly.

"W-well it symbolizes bravery and success, it's a constantly following each other in circles. Like a ring." Reyna said, Rachel nodded, "sorry it's so weird." She said, Rachel's eyes widened. "Honey it isn't weird at all. Trust me, I once had to go to a therapist because of my dead hamster!" She said, Reyna laughed.

"A-a hamster! How old where you?!" Reyna asked Rachel through her giggles. Rachel started to laugh also. She held up a few fingers but Reyna had to many tears from laughing to make out the number. Rachel was sweating, "are you hot?" Reyna asked her.

Rachel smirked, "I don't know you tell me." She flirted, she laughed as Reyna turned beet red once again. "You know what I meant!" Reyna said, "But to answer your question, yes. Yes I am very warm. I'm just gonna..." Rachel said, taking off her own shirt to reveal a dark yellow tank top.

"Nice color." Reyna commented, looking at the tank top (and maybe some of her body as well....). Rachel laughed, "thank you." She said, she yawned and looked at her watch. "It is getting late! Geez, we have been talking for-evah!" She said dramatically while flopping in Reyna's lap. "We haven't, it's probably only been an hour!" Reyna protested.

"Doubt it, but because I am a going to play a game with you." Rachel stated, Reyna raised her eyebrows. "Oh really?" She asked Rachel, "Duh, why don't we play 20 questions?" Rachel asked her, Reyna shrugged and nodded. "Yes!" Rachel said, smiling like a 3 year old.

"Okay, I'll go first." Reyna said, a little excited to play 20 questions. "Rachel...what's your favorite color, even though it is lame it has to be answered!" Reyna said, Rachel's smile grew. "Well Miss Reyna, I love the color yellow, even though everyone assumes I looooooove red!" Rachel answered, Reyna shrugged- 'that was pretty awesome that she goes by her own rules' Reyna thought.

"Okay, Reyna- how many children do you want in your future?" Rachel asked, Reyna shrugged. "Um, I kinda want 3 children." She answered, "Same!" Rachel replied. Both girls smiled, "I've always wanted 2 boys and a girl." Rachel stated, Reyna nodded.

"You think that will happen one day?" Rachel asked dreamily, Reyna sighed- knowing that it wouldn't be a good life if she didn't have a future with Rachel, she was probably straight as a ruler. Perfect in every way except for the loving girls department."Maybe." Reyna answered, trying to control the sadness in her voice. Rachel looked concerned for a second, then smiled like nothing was wrong.

As if she knew what Reyna was thinking- Rachel made the weirdest face in the history of weird faces. "I bet I know what time it is!" Rachel said, imitating Elmo. "What time is it female Elmo?" Reyna joked, Rachel smiled- seeing that Reyna was happier. "It is Pancake Time!" Rachel screamed, Reyna burst out laughing along with Rachel.

Reyna laughed with Rachel for a while, talking to Rachel just seemed so natural. "Let me see that." She said, grabbing her wrist. "Ahh my wrist I have been wounded!" She said loudly and dramatically once again. Reyna giggled, "it is only...oh it is 8:34, I gotta go." She said, gently pushing Rachel off her lap. Her skin instantly missing the contact. Rachel landed on the floor with an 'thump' and Reyna grabbed her shirt from besides her. Well tried that is.

Rachel quickly turned over, grabbing the shirt and getting up to her feet with in seconds. "Hey!" Reyna said, and Rachel stuck out her tongue. Rachel ran across the room, being chased by Reyna the whole time. Reyna tried to snatch it from Rachel's clutches, only to tumble and smack her leg.

"Ow! You are so violent!" She joked, "yeah, so violent. Also on the floor!" Reyna said sarcastically. Rachel looked back at Reyna, seeing if she was okay. Just to be greeted by Reyna dooming past her and almost getting her shirt back.

Luckily for Rachel, she was quick, and Reyna didn't stand a chance. "You want it?" Rachel asked innocently. Reyna put a big smile on her face and nodded. "Well you don't get the shirt!!!" She said, pointing a shaky finger at Reyna. Reyna burst into laughter along with Rachel.

"Reyna?! Oh...." Nico said, seeing Reyna without a shirt and Rachel holding the shirt. He blushed in embarrassment. "I am just going to go....I'm guessing that Reyna is sleeping and staying here for the night?" Nico asked the girls, Rachel nodded before Reyna could say anything.

"Then what will I wear for PJs?" Reyna asked Rachel once Nico shadow traveled to the Hades cabin. "You could always sleep in your under garments." Rachel said, and blushed as she realized what she had said. "Uh...o-okay. I mean we are all girls...hehe." Reyna said, her stomach filling with butterflies once again.

Her heart had increased its beating again as Rachel handed her back her shirt. The only reason it sped up was because their finger tips touched. Reyna was freaking out from the inside form the physical contact. It wasn't a hug but it was hand touching. Which led to holding hands, kissing, dating, mar- woah! Reyna thought, she was getting ahead of herself.

"You still want the shirt?" Rachel asked as a smiled graced her soft, pink lips. Reyna smirked and nodded, Rachel ran around her, and Reyna finally managed to snatch it. "Yes!" Reyna shouted, they were both laughing at 1- Reyna's weird victory dance and 2- Rachel's face as Reyna got the shirt.

"No fair!" Rachel whined- smiling. "All is fair in the clothing games!" Reyna said, "that makes no sense." Rachel commented. Reyna shrugged, "it makes no sense but it is true." Reyna said, Rachel shrugged.

Rachel put her arms around Reyna's neck from the back. Reyna freaked out on the inside once again by the warm and welcoming touch. She sighed, "I'm borrreeed!" She whined, "well, we could sleep?" Reyna said, pretending to think.

"No! I am not that bored!" Rachel said, Reyna laughed, "just kidding. How about we look through some of that art of yours. I hear you are quite the artist." Reyna said, removing Rachel's welcoming arms from her shoulders and neck. "Okay." Rachel said, sitting in the floor. Reyna got to her knees next to Rachel as Rachel picked up a sketch book.

"Pick a page. Any page." Rachel said, Reyna flipped her hair. "Well if you like insist!" She said like Regina George from Mean Girls. Rachel snorted and Reyna opened the sketchbook. The first page was a drawing of the campfire at camp half blood. "Nicely done Miss Dare." Reyna said, in a terrible British accent.

"Oh Reyna I had no clue you were British!" Rachel said, fake gasping. "I think I may faint!" She said, pretending to faint into Reyna's arms. Reyna loved those moments she was holding her, it felt good- actually it felt right.

They looked through the sketch book for an hour, but Rachel slipped a page- which Reyna found weird. Reyna thought about the physical contact Rachel gave her, it was eating her alive that she couldn't just grab her face and kiss it. Reyna instantly pinched herself while Rachel wasn't looking. She couldn't be having these thoughts. Not now, not ever.

"So Reyna, I hear you are quite the prank queen." Rachel started, a evil glint in her beautiful forest like eyes. "So I may be..what's it to you Dare?" She asked, looking at her eyes intensely. "Well we could go prank some people. Trust me the Harpies have finally learned camper form intruder." Rachel said, budding Reyna's arm with her elbow.

"Hmm. Let's do it!" Reyna said, "okay. Firsts we need victims." Rachel said, rubbing her hands together like an evil genius.

Reyna laughed slightly, picturing Rachel as a mad scientist- but she was still beautiful in Reyna's eyes. "Okay...how about everyone but the strolls." Reyna suggested.

"Why not the strolls?" Rachel asked, "so they all think they did it and not us." Reyna explained, "oh. I like how your brain thinks." She replied smirking.

"My brain thanks you." Reyna said, and Rachel got out a piece of paper. "So spill paint using the bucket and the door trick?" Rachel asked, "sure. I mean we probably don't have he supplies to do anything else right now." Reyna said, Rachel smiled and nodded.

"Let's go!" Reyna said, excited to prank everyone and not get caught. "Nuh-uh-uhh. Rey-Rey you still need a shirt." Rachel said, pointing to Reyna in only her jeans and black lace bra. She blushed in embarrassment.

"Oh yeah..." she said, she pulled the shirt in quickly, and Rachel smiled. "Now let's go, I got 3 buckets of paint. Get more!" Rachel commanded, Reyna grabbed 7 more buckets surprisingly.

"Woah, Reyna a strong girl!" Rachel joked when she saw how many buckets Reyna carried. "No...Reyna is just special." She said, explaining it in a voice she would use for a 3 year old.

Rachel stuck out her tongue again, hitting Reyna's nose because they were that close. "Ewwww!" Reyna said, Rachel gave a big smile and they both laughed. "Okay now let us go!" Rachel announced quietly.

Reyna and Rachel marched to the cabins, as quietly as they could. The had all the buckets set over the doors of the cabin, all except the Hermes. (I know there are more than 12 cabins but I could care less...let's just pretend that it is possible to have that many pain cans and put them all on the cabins door tips for a prank.)

Reyna and Rachel quickly scrambled back to the cave. Falling several times because they tripped over each other. Once they got to Rachel's cave they laughed and fell to the ground. "That was-hahahaha- so much fun!" Reyna said, "I can't wait till morning!" Rachel said as she laughed like a mad man.

"Speaking of morning, in gong to see what time it is." Reyna said once they had controlled their laughter. She once again grabbed Rachel's wrist. "Hey, gentle. I am very fragile." Rachel said, "oh sorry." Reyna apologized.

She looked at Rachel's watch, it read 3:21 am. "Rachel." Reyna said, "yep." She said yawning and popping the 'p'. "Guess what time it is." Reyna challenged.

Rachel thought for a second, "9 o'clock?" She guessed, "Rachel it is flipping 3 am!" Reyna said, Rachel's eye widened.

"Good night then." Rachel said, pulling down her pants. "Rachel!" Reyna protested, then saw that Rachel had a pair of stretchy leggings underneath. "Geez how many layers do you wear?" Reyna joked, "I've never asked myself that." Rachel answered.

"Well goodnight." Reyna said, pulling off her shirt and taking off her pants shyly. "Reyna I am not going to check you out all night you can sleep naked for all I care!" Rachel said, getting some pillows and blankets from a shelf.

She threw them on the floor, making a nest. She tossed Reyna a blanket. "Thanks." Reyna said as she took the blanket.

She laid down next to Rachel as she got comfortable. Rachel yawned, instantly allying asleep. Reyna smiled slightly, seeing how cute Rachel was in her sleeping state. Reyna made a bold move, she placed Rachel's arm around her shoulder- covered by a blanket.

Rachel's other arm came with her first. They wrapped around Reyna, and she felt safe. Not thinking about the morning, she was almost asleep in her arms. Reyna's heart fluttered, and her face tingled a bit. She finally fell sleep. Dreaming about their life as a couple, not knowing Rachel was dreaming the same thing.
